Blac Youngsta's social media clowning has cost a McDonald's night manager his job. Youngsta and his boys hit up a Micky D's in Raleigh, North Carolina last weekend. It was late and they were only serving drive thru. But the manager recognized Blac and let him and his crew into the fast food restaurant. Once inside, the high jinks began: play fighting, counter dancing and hanging out the drive thru window. At one point, Youngsta attempted to take orders from other customers. Blac posted the fun on his popular social media pages. He eventually took it down, but the damage...
Drake and Meek Mill have never really deaded their notorious beef. But Drake reached out to Meek in a big way during his show last night in Melbourne, Australia. Meek's been in the news for the wrong reason lately, getting hit with a surprise 2-4 year sentence for probation violations. His lawyers (and possibly the FBI) believe the judge in the case has a vendetta against Meek and plan on appealing the sentence. For now, Meek can take a bit comfort in Drake joining the ranks rappers, celebrities, and fans who have decried his treatment.
A few days ago, Donald Trump bragged about getting LiAngelo Ball and his two UCLA basketball teammates released from house arrest in China. They had been caught on camera stealing from a Louis Vuitton store in the communist nation during a team trip there and were facing 3 to 8 years in prison. But when ESPN asked LiAngelo about Trump, he dismissed the president's role. This annoyed the leader the free world enough that he fired f multiple Tweets on the subject today. Who's a better troll, LaVar Ball or Donald J. Trump?
Russell Simmons is the latest celebrity to be accused sexual assault. A model named Keri Claussen Khaligh told the Los Angeles Times that Simmons forced her to give him oral sex during a casting call in 1991. This was after he started making strong sexual advances and began pulling f her clothes. She was 17 at the time. The movie's producer Brett Ratner — who’s also being accused sexual assault by several other women — was supposedly in the room when all this happened but didn’t intervene. Afterward, Khaligh said she felt “disgusting,” so she decided to take a...
Ashanti had to get at a concertgoer after he started throwing money at her while she was performing. It happened when she and Ja Rule were playing a gig over the weekend at Neal S. Blaisdell Center in Honolulu, Hawaii, and Ashanti was giving multiple guys lap dances. It turns out that the people who threw the money work for a local strip club called Ballarrinas, and the owner called Ashanti out on Instagram. Since Ashanti was acting like a stripper do you think she should’ve been mad about people throwing money at her?
Eminem's new album Revival didn't drop on November 17th like everyone thought it would. But we do still think his ninth album, titled Revival, will eventually be a real thing. Shady has been teasing the project since mid-October with a marketing campaign made to mimic that a prescription drug. His manager Paul Rosenberg more or less outed the stealth campaign with an IG photo one the fake ads on October 25. However, Eminem fan Tara Monterosso figured out what was going on a week and a half before that when a commercial for "Revival" ran during Saturday Night Live....
This summer, Russ tried to make himself the poster boy for the increasing anti-drug movement in Hip Hop when he wore a shirt that said only losers abuse Xanax and take lean. Since then, his message has been bolstered by the death Lil Peep and by the hospitalization Fredo Santana — who had initially criticized Russ's anti-drug stance. Russ took to Twitter this weekend to make more remarks on drugs and the industry. Smokepurpp replied to Russ's remarks in a very direct manner. Do you agree with Purpp or Russ? (Or both?)
All you have to do is look at Drake's sales numbers to know the dude has a ton fans. You can count Chance The Rapper among them. Earlier this week, he tweeted out this. He expanded upon that point last night on Jimmy Fallon, telling the late night host he's sick people not giving Drizzy his props just because doing so isn't the cool thing to do. Chance will be hosting Saturday Night Live tonight with musical guest Eminem. Maybe he'll spread more Drake love (or underhanded shade) then.
Little Peep brother Karl Ahr spoke to People mag about Peep's death. Karl, who goes by Oskar, explained that Peep's image as a drug-addled depressive was an act. Oskar added that his brother would never take his own life, as he took pride in helping others who were depressed. He also said that a lot Peep's drug use was for the purpose marketing. Oskar was close to Peep, and had planned on spending Thanksgiving with him. He now plans on getting out Peep's unreleased music. This includes a collaborative project with Makonnen that Oskar describes as "a lot happier."
Eminem was the rapper last night on "Saturday Night Live". But Chance The Rapper, who hosted the comedy show, still got a musical performance in. Here's Chance and friends doing the 90's slow jam parody "Come Back, Barack." Eminem, with Skylar Grey in tow, performed his new track "Walk On Water" and a medley his old hits. Shady not debuting a new song on "SNL" suggests the album that he didn't drop on November 17th — as had been the rumor — may not be coming for a while. As host, Chance also tried his hand at non-musical comedy....
