What a night! ? @djmobeatzA photo posted by BIGSEAN (@bigsean) on J. Cole closed out his Forest Hill Drive Tour in style last night, performing where it all started in his hometown Fayetteville, NC. The rapper has been on a continuous run since kicking off the third leg of the tour in mid-July and put up a proper finale adding Jay Z, Drake and Big Sean to the show. Hov appeared to do “Public Service Announcement,” and Big Sean was brought out to tackle his hits “IDFWU,” and “Clique.” Drake later joined the fun and performed “Energy,” “Know Yourself,” and a new freestyle before going into his latest song “Back To Back.” Cole has hit up 43 spots on the hugely successful international run. But, the tour hasn’t been without incident. Earlier this month, during a tour stop in New Jersey, two people were injured when a shooting occurred following the show at PNC Bank Arts Center. The two people who were struck by bullets were transported by Medevac helicopter to receive medical treatment at a nearby hospital. Quran Powell, a 27-year-old New Jersey native, was arrested days later and charged with the crime. Then there’s the light-hearted iPhone to the face incident that occurred in San Diego. But last night, all was well and the stars were out.
