"Ya girls 16 :) 16 has felt like a long time coming,” she wrote. “I feel like change needs to happen for not only this generation but the next. our world needs kindness and support in order for us children to grow and succeed."
She continued, “the last few years haven't been easy, I'll admit that. there are moments I get frustrated from the inaccuracy, inappropriate comments, sexualization, and unnecessary insults that ultimately have resulted in pain and insecurity for me.” Brown went on to tell her followers that despite all the bad she won't "be defeated and added that she will “continue doing what I love and spreading the message in order to make change.”
In addition to her caption, Brown posted a video, which showed countless examples of the press saying negative things about the actress.
In the past, her friendship with Drake has been criticized by the media, to which she responded, “Why u gotta make a lovely friendship ur headline? U guys are weird… For real.”
The first trailer for Stranger Things 4 was released earlier this month.
Stephen A. Smith Reveals The Captain Of His Celebrity All-Star Team
Hint: He loves his wife.
Ever since Stephen A. Smith was named the coach of one of the Celebrity NBA All-Star teams, he has been searching for the captain of his team. Smith desperately wants to beat Michael Wilbon's team and he is looking to recruit the best celebrity players in order to do so. Today, Smith emphatically announced that he had found someone to captain his team and so far, he seems to have made a great choice.
None other than Chance the Rapper will represent team Stephen A. at the Celebrity All-Star game. Chance has been known to play basketball every now and then so it only makes sense that he would want to take part in this game. Not to mention, Chance's image makes him appear like a leader which means he will certainly make a great captain.
It will be interesting to see who else is added to Smith's team as we get closer to All-Star weekend. We know Stephen A. can be incredibly competitive so he'll certainly want to get a hold of the best players available. If he ends up losing to Wilbon, we can only imagine what kind of rant is going to ensue.
Perhaps we may even see him step into the game. After all, who wouldn't want to see Stephen A. get buckets?
Maurice Clarett Said Getting Onstage With 50 Cent Was the Beginning Of The End
Maurice Clarett was once bigger than LeBron James. However, his football career disintegrated after clashes with his Ohio State coaches, the NCAA, and the law.
In a new interview, Maurice Clarett recalled a notorious incident after his historic freshman season during which he got on stage at a 50 Cent show while wearing a bulletproof vest. He admitted the experience set him on a bad path which eventually led to disaster. [Jump to 3:30.]
"We gonna blame everything on 50," Clarett said with a laugh. " This was right after the season. He came to Ohio in 2003 in February. LeBron and [Maverick Carter] were in Chicago. They had watched the Pistons and Chicago Bulls game. They hit me and they were like 'we going to Cleveland State for a 50 Cent show'. This is massive mixtape 50 Cent. I think I'm a tough guy, I wanna go see 50. He like the father of tough guys. So 18, 19 years old, your impressible and you think you're tough. We go to the arena ... it was infectious. So from there, I'm living like a celebrity. So just to have experience ... you get an ego and you having an experience you just can't pay for. Just being next to these guys on stage feeds into you feeling like your larger than when you started. You don't even feel like your off-track ... I never looked at it like I'm being malicious toward the NCAA. I looked like I'm just enjoying myself. I'm getting what belongs to me."
Clarett is actually doing very well these days. The 36-year-old is a public speaker and podcaster and founded a company that provides counseling and housing services for adults struggling with addiction.
