“Social distancing is a necessary evil in COVID world. Watching “Mother” reminds me just how irreplaceable the joy of being in a band is,” Waters said in the tweet.
“Mother” was released on the classic 1979 album, The Wall. The lyrics touch on over-protective maternal relationships, politics, and more. Other popular songs from the album include “Comfortably Numb,” and “Another Brick in the Wall, Part 2.”
After the lyric “Mother should I trust the government,” the singer seems to mouth the words, “no f–king way.”
Waters was originally scheduled to be touring across the United States this summer; however, the performances were canceled due to the COVID-19 outbreak. “The bad news is: I’ve had to postpone my tour until next year,” Waters said in a release. “Bummer, but if it saves lives, it’s worth it.”
Live Nation has recently said they will begin testing new, safe methods of hosting concerts over the summer. Ideas include lowering capacity, drive-in concerts, and more.
After the performance he thanks his bandmates. “We should do this again, right?” he concludes.

“Happy birthday mama ??? I miss you everyday!” Megan begins the post. “I know you’re watching over me rooting for me and keeping me going. I don’t have you physically here telling me what I should do so I’ve been trying to figure it out on my own remembering all the advice and lessons you’ve taught me before. You are such a strong woman and I promise to make you proud and be one too! We love you Holly!”
Megan has spoken several times about the important role her mother played in Megan’s life. She recently told People that she plans to finish getting her bachelor’s degree to honor her late mother: “I want to get my degree because I really want my mom to be proud. She saw me going to school before she passed … I literally watched my mom and my grandmother get up and go to work every single day. My big mama owned three houses in South Park [Houston]. She was going hard, working to provide for our family, so I’ve always seen her drive.”
Her mother, Holly Thomas, passed in March, 2019, following a battle with brain cancer.

The New York-based hooper has had to say goodbye to two of his loved ones after they lost their battles with the coronavirus. Erica Telfair, the star's mother, died on Monday morning (April 27) after contracting the virus. Her official cause of death has not been determined. She was 64.

It was revealed this week that over one million people in the United States have contracted the deadly coronavirus, placing the country far ahead of any other nation as far as confirmed cases go. A second wave is expected to hit soon, but non-essential businesses are still set to re-open soon.
Rest in peace to Erica Telfair and Dan Turner.
Juice WRLD’s Mom Launches Live Free 999 Fund In His Honor
Juice WRLD’s mother Carmella Wallace establishes the Live Free 999 Fund to help youth dealing with addiction, anxiety, and depression.
Juice WRLD made such a lasting impact on hip-hop’s youth, speaking candidly about difficult topics in his music and in interviews. The rapper was very open about his struggles with substance abuse, anxiety, depression, heartbreak, and more, offering a window for young rap fans to look through and know that they were not alone. Showing everybody that there is a rainbow at the end of the rainstorm, Juice WRLD tragically lost his life just days after turning 21-years-old.
The late Chicago native’s family has been working hard to establish a foundation in his honor and, this week, that all came together. Juice WRLD’s mother Carmella Wallace has announced the launch of the Live Free 999 Fund, which has been created in Juice WRLD’s name.
“Young people around the world were truly touched by Jarad’s music because he spoke to issues and situations in his music that resonated with them so deeply,” said Carmella in a statement about the new fund, which will receive additional help from Grade A Productions and Interscope Records. “I was aware of his struggles with addiction, anxiety, and depression; we had many conversations about his challenges with these issues. I know he truly wanted to be free from the demons that tormented him. I made the decision upon his death that I was going to share his struggles with the world with the objective of helping others.”

The release outlines the goals of the fund as such. Live Free 999 will seek to provide support to programs that address addiction, anxiety, and depression in compassionate ways. It will also work towards the normalization of conversations about these topics, particularly in underserved communities. The fund will additionally assist programs to help individuals process their mental health challenges through creative pursuits.
“It is my hope that Live Free 999 will help people just as Jarad’s music has and will continue to touch lives for years to come,” said Carmella.
Rest in peace, Juice WRLD.
Kim Kardashian & North West Rock Matching Braids In Throwback Photo
Kim Kardashian posted a throwback of her and North West in matching braided hairstyles, despite past accusations of cultural appropriation against her.
Kim Kardashian and her eldest child, North West, are “twinzies” in her latest Instagram share, which shows the mother-daughter duo rocking matching braids despite Kim’s history of getting called out for culturally appropriating the hairstyle. If there’s any family that’s familiar with accusations of cultural appropriation, it’s the Kardashians. The famous clan have been put on blast on countless occasions for appropriating hairstyles and tanning their skin way too dark, but no amount of educating has managed to stop them thus far. Kim has probably been called out the most often, most recently for ignoring the critics and wearing braids to her husband Kanye West‘s Yeezy Season 8 show during Paris Fashion Week.

Looking back on the occasion, for which she also gave North a similar hairdo, Kim posted a throwback photo of the two of them on Instagram on Tuesday, writing that they were “twinzies.”
Although the photos may be cute, that didn’t mean Kim could avoid getting slammed for cultural appropriation and “blackfishing,” a term referring to when a non-black person attempts to appear black by altering their physical appearance. It’s interesting that Kim decided to remind everyone of what she thought was a heartwarming moment between herself and North, considering Kim was just recently exposed in a live video after North called her out for not paying attention to her kids enough. It could just be a coincidence, but when have any of Kim’s moves not been strategic in some way.
Malika Haqq Is "Addicted" To Newborn Son With O.T. Genasis
Malika Haqq cannot get enough of her newborn baby boy, Ace, with ex-boyfriend O.T. Genasis, claiming she’s “addicted” to spending time with their son.
Malika Haqq wants to spend every waking moment with her newborn son, Ace, with ex-boyfriend, O.T. Genasis. On Tuesday (April 7th), the actress and TV personality confessed in a video on her Instagram story that she is “addicted” to her baby boy, to the point where she’s tempted to disrupt his nap time just to spend more time with him.
“I wanted my baby to go to sleep so that I could get some stuff done around the house,” she explained in the clip, “and now that he’s asleep, I want to wake him up.” Malika and Genasis welcomed their son, Ace Flores, on March 14th earlier this year, after confirming that he was, indeed, the father of her child back in February. Malika first announced her pregnancy back in September, but refrained from revealing who the father was for several months. Although the former couple are no longer together, they’ve remained committed to fostering a healthy co-parenting relationship.
“Relationships don’t always work out the way we would hope but between love & friendship we have created a baby boy that will be here very soon,” she explained on an Instagram post from her baby shower. “I’ve been single the last 8 months but I am in no way alone. OT and I have attended every doctors apt and overall loved on our son together while anticipating his arrival. My priority over the past few months has been to nurture and protect my unborn child. Our baby would not be who he is without his father and I thank God for the spirit that grows inside of me. Only thing that matters, we are Baby Flores parents.” Respect.
Karl-Anthony Towns’s Mother Fighting To Survive COVID-19 In ICU
Karl-Anthony Towns' mother remains in the Intensive Care Unit after it was revealed that she was in a coma because of coronavirus.
Karl-Anthony Towns revealed to the world that his family had been struck with the coronavirus, noting that both of his parents had contracted the deadly illness. The basketball star's father, Karl Sr., has since recovered from COVID-19 but KAT's mother Jacqueline Cruz is still fighting for her life. According to John Calipari, the head coach of the University of Kentucky men's team, where Towns played college ball, the athlete's mother remains in critical condition.
"Ms. Jackie, Karl-Anthony Towns’ mother, is still in that hospital fighting. She’s there," said Calipari during a live-stream on Facebook this week. "We get updates, every single day we get an update from Karl Sr. about how she’s doing from the nurses at the ICU. Keep praying for her, send her unbelievably positive thoughts. I can’t wait until she gets out of that hospital. It’s been a tough road."

From his wording, it would appear as though Calipari and Towns believe she will make a full recovery.
Karl-Anthony posted a video on his Instagram page several weeks ago, detailing the severity of the coronavirus and how it affected his family so severely.
"WE CAN BEAT THIS, BUT THIS IS SERIOUS AND WE NEED TO TAKE EVERY PRECAUTION," wrote the forward.
Continue praying for Ms. Jackie!

Youngboy Never Broke Again’s mother has a harsh message for anybody that comes at her son.
Youngboy Never Broke Again always has some dramatic stuff happening in his life. Whether he’s clashing with one of his many baby mamas or hurling threats at Kodak Black, the 20-year-old Baton Rouge native is pretty entertaining to keep track of. Without a filter, you can expect anything to come out of NBA Youngboy’s mouth next. Nothing is off-limits. During his rant directly following his girlfriend Yaya Mayweather’s arrest this weekend, the rapper called her dad, championship boxer Floyd Mayweather, a “bitch ass n***a.”
Paras Griffin/Getty ImagesIt turns out that he’s not the only person in his family that has a temper. During a live-stream on Instagram, the star’s mother chimed in about all the hate her son has been getting.
“Don’t talk about my child because, guess what, that’s a grown-ass man over there,” said Youngboy’s mother on video. “And I promise you I don’t want my child running behind nobody, going to look for nobody, or none of that. I don’t want my child doing none of that. But I’m telling this to any motherfucking body. If you go at him and if you go to him, he better let every motherfucking bullet out.”
If you ever wondered where Youngboy Never Broke Again got his aggression from, this might be it. Like mother, like son.
