FIRST LISTEN: Dillon Francis Teases The Entirety Of His Upcoming New Album
The wait for Dillon Francis’s next album, WUT WUT, is nearly over. With a full title and release date, September 28, now revealed to the public, along with a number of already-heard singles, fans are now able to get a full idea for the vibe of the album.
Dillon Francis posted a full album preview the new IGTV function on Instagram, sharing clips of all 11 songs on the album. WUT WUT includes collaborations with a number of Latin and Spanish stars like Residente, Yashua, Fuego, Arcangel, Youngh Ash and more.
Francis has received quite a bit of criticism for this album, mostly from people who call themselves “fans” but really aren’t. The criticisms seem to center around the use of Spanish in the album, and a feeling of disconnection from the lyrics. However, it’s undeniable that these songs are absolute party anthems on the production side, and Latino fans are sure to go absolutely bonkers when heard in a live setting.
All in all, our team is very excited to hear the full album when it’s available.
Check out the full preview here, and pre-save the album so you can hear it the second it’s out. You can listen to all previously released singles from WUT WUT below.
FIRST LISTEN: Pegboard Nerds Debut Raw New Collab with Knife Party [VIDEO]
The forthcoming Pegboard Nerds and Knife Party collaboration has been public knowledge since Rob Swire revealed its existence in early May. Though, while the Pendulum project has been busy promoting The Reworks, we weren’t expecting to hear much about it anytime soon.
That didn’t stop Pegboard Nerds from playing it out at Dreamhack Austin last month. As far as we know, this is the first time they’ve played out the track; it’s possible it was played out at EDC, but there’s no video of it to confirm. No matter the case, the fact still remains that this is a collaboration worth waiting for. Rob’s pitched up vocals provide the right amount of suspense alongside the anthemic synths before the drop. And once it gets to that point, the still-untitled track exudes classic electro house vibes that have been sorely missing.
We’re insanely excited to hear the full track, whenever it drops. For now, check it out below.
Say Hello To The New Mau5mobile, A 1-In-500 Million Dollar Supercar
Mark another one down for deadmau5 as he plans to add the new McLaren Senna to his growing collection of amazing vehicles.
The mau5 already owns a BAC Mono, Jeep Wrangler Rubicon SRT, Tesla P85D, and McLaren 650S, after selling his Lamborghini Huracan and Ferrari 458 Italia. Those were the original Purracan and Purrari, respectively. He also sold his McLaren P1 to fund his Cube 2.1.
Now he’s looking at his next supercar, the incredibly sexy and super lightweight McLaren Senna. The 789 horsepower, twin-turbo V8 car is one mean machine. It has an MSRP of £750,000 (US$837,000), making it an expensive machine, as well. Throw in taxes and additional features and we imagine this will come out to an even million.
To top it off, there will only be 500 of these cars ever made.
Check out a picture of the beast below – maybe we can get a new coffee run once it’s running!
The Chainsmokers Debut Insane New Collab with Trap Star Quix [MUST LISTEN]
The Chainsmokers proved beyond a shadow of a doubt at Ultra Music Festival this year that they can go just as hard as the rest of them. Despite their more radio friendly singles, Drew and Alex have always had a passion for the harder side of dance music, and we’ve seen a couple new productions from them that back that up. They debuted a new collaboration with NGHTMRE at Ultra; they also allegedly have collaborations with Say My Name and Boombox Cartel on deck.
One that wasn’t played at Ultra Miami – but which was played at Ultra Korea – is this new jawn with Quix. It has all the trappings (pun intended) of a classic Quix tune with some of the creative song writing and arrangement of a Chainsmokers pop tune.
This is really only the drop we’re hearing, so there’s a lot to the track that’s still buried “under the surface,” so to speak. The Chainsmokers have a goal of releasing 12 songs before December, all for their forthcoming sophomore album; having missed May, likely due to EDC in the middle of the month when they would have dropped the single, we’ll probably be getting two singles in July, after June’s single.
There’s no telling when any of these specific tracks will be coming out, but Chainsmokers are all about making their fans happy, so we’re sure we’ll get them when the time comes.
For now, check out the collab with Quix below their Instagram story.
This New Preview From Zedd Sounds Like He's Going Back To His 'Clarity' Days [VIDEO]
Zedd is still enjoying the fruits of his collaboration with Grey and Maren Morris, “The Middle,” as the song has recently shot up once again to the top of the charts. But a musician’s job is never over, and the music must keep coming, so Zedd’s been in the studio cooking up something new.
He posted some clips of his most recent work in progress on Instagram yesterday, sharing a photo of a project file, a short clip of some arpeggiated chords (that sound very much like they’re harking back to the days of Clarity), and a reminder to always “take great care” of your automations.
While fans have been split about his recent focus on pop music, Zedd is still one of the most talented producers in the game at his level; and if this song really is a throwback to his Clarity days, then fans are sure to be ecstatic.
It’s too early to call this any specific genre, but we bet we’ll be hearing a more finished version at his own festival in Los Angeles on July 3. For now, check out the clip below.
Skrillex Previews His New Pendulum Remix & Dubstep Fans Will Be Disappointed
Yesterday, Skrillex and Pendulum posted teasers for the former’s remix of the latter’s hit “The Island Pt. 1 (Dawn),” out this Friday. Skrillex’s teaser has since been deleted, but he posted fresh – and more lengthy – teasers this morning Instagram.
First and foremost, sorry dubstep fans, you’re not getting your fix here. Skrillex’s remix of “The Island Pt. 1” is straight euphoric future bass, complete with his iconic brand of vocal chops. It even sounds like he’s added his own voice to the mix with the chops, or else he’s pitched up Rob Swire’s vocals super, super high.
It definitely fits in more with Skrillex’s more recent productions, and at this point, we’re probably fooling ourselves hoping that he’ll return to his 2011-2013 era sound. Artists grow and evolve, after all.
Skrillex’s remix for Pendulum’s “The Island Pt. 1 (Dawn)” is out tomorrow, June 8. Check back tomorrow for the full stream!
DJ Snake & Yellow Claw Tease Their Next Collaboration Out Very Soon [VIDEO]
Yellow Claw have collaborated with DJ Snake twice before: once on Snake’s debut album for “Ocho Cinco,” and again on Yellow Claw’s sophomore album for “Good Day” with Elliphant. Now, the two artists are set to unleash another collaboration upon the world this Friday with “Public Enemy.”
Judging by the track art, “Public Enemy” will be released as a single from Yellow Claw’s forthcoming third album, New Blood. The track is an absolute booty shaker that’s pretty much guaranteed to ignite any dance floor.

You can listen to Yellow Claw dropping the collab at EDC and DJ Snake dropping it at Ultra in the video below.
VIDEO: Skrillex's Highly Anticipated Pendulum Remix Is Finally Dropping
This headline might read like it’s from 2011, but no. This is 2018, folks. Skrillex has announced a remix for Pendulum‘s iconic track “The Island Pt. 1 (Dawn).”
Skrillex announced the remix with a rather odd video. The video includes footage of Skrillex skating with a dog, snowboarding and hanging out at a skate park. The 12-second video includes a snippet of what the remix will sound like, even though it’s unbearably short. It sounds like the remix will be heavy on horns, perhaps even a trap remix. The remix releases on Friday, so we’ll find out then. Pendulum tweeted about the remix as well.
Pendulum – The Island Pt. 1 (Skrillex Remix). Out Friday

— Pendulum (@Pendulum) June 6, 2018
This remix may seem random, but it fits into a larger release from Pendulum. Pendulum will release a remix album called The Reworks on June 29, complete with remixes of classic Pendulum tracks. Artists on the album include Noisia, ATTLAS, DJ Seinfeld, Moby and even Knife Party.
Check back on Friday to hear Skrillex’s remix of Pendulum’s “The Island Pt. 1 (Dawn)”!
JAUZ Unleashes New Collab from Upcoming Debut Album At EDC [VIDEO]
If anyone doubted Jauz in the past couple of years, you can be sure that he’s making 2018 his bitch. Having already dropped collaborations with Example, DJ Snake, and Snails off his debut album, as well as teasing additional collabs with Adventure Club and Crankdat, he’s now teased a new track with Tisoki on EDC’s main stage.
The tracks from the album run the gamut so far in terms of genre style, but we still haven’t heard 2015-era Jauz with his dubstep influences, even though wubs were promised for his Calvin Harris remix…
Thankfully, this Tisoki collaboration is all that we wanted and more, as the style easily predates Jauz’s come up and hearkens back to the early Circus Records days in 2010-2012.
Jauz’s album is truly turning out to be one of our most-anticipated of the year. With 3 singles already out, and at least four more collaborations having been played out live (that we know of), we’d be expecting to see it drop in the next month or two. We’re still waiting on an album title, artwork, and definitive release date, but we’ll be sure to let you know as soon as we do.
For now, check out his ID with Tisoki from EDC’s main stage below.

Pendulum Reveal Next Track From Upcoming Remix Album
Still a little more than two months until we get the full The Reworks album from Pendulum, and this Friday we’re getting our third single from the release. We’ve already heard Noisia’s remix of “Hold Your Colour” and Knife Party’s remix of “Blood Sugar,” and neither remix has been without its fair share of criticism. Can we hope that this remix of “Tarantula” from Icarus can escape the cycle?
Again, the teaser we get from Pendulum is almost maddeningly short… scratch that, it is maddeningly short. We hardly get anything but a few synth sweeps and the semblance of a percussion rhythm, and that’s all. Even worse, there’s hardly any sound of the original “Tarantula” in the preview, so we’re left with more questions than answers.
If they were going for the blue balls route, I commend them for getting it right; but I’m not happy about it.
Look out for the Icarus remix of “Tarantula” this Friday.
