Cardi B is in elite company after setting yet another Billboard record. The outspoken Bronx rapper is now just the third act — alongside The Beatles and Ashanti — to have her first three Hot 100 entries in the Top 10 at the same time.
Her inaugural chart-topping hit “Bodak Yellow,” Migos’ “MotorSport” featuring Nicki Minaj and Cardi, and G-Eazy’s “No Limit” also starring Ms. B and A$AP Rocky all sit in the Hot 100.
Her latest single “Bartier Cardi” featuring 21 Savage debuted at #14 earlier this week.
The social media-savvy artist shared her reaction Instagram on Tuesday (January 2) with a video expressing her excitement and gratitude.
“What a great way to start my Year,” she captioned the post. “Thank you Lord .Only you and i know how much i pray to you. These last few weeks been too much for me but my Lord always find a way to uplift me .Thank you to my fans ,DJS ,Team for the support .Thanks to all the artist who featured me I️n thesee songs and thanks guys for showing my second single BARTIER CARDI some love.”
The enthusiasm continued with another post a couple hours later featuring a screenshot the Hot 100’s Top 10, which showed all three her songs on the list.
“NO LIMIT #4 MOTORSPORT #7 BODAK YELLOW #10,” she wrote. “THANK YOU SOO MUCH FOR THE SUPPORT TOP TEN !!!Thanks @migos @g_eazy for featuring Bardi on your records.”
Since emerging with “Bodak Yellow” last summer, Cardi’s stock has been steadily on the rise. In September, she made history as the first solo female rapper in 19 years to hit #1 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart.
She’s also earned two Grammy Award nominations for her breakout song “Bodak Yellow” in the Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song categories, DX’s Award for Comeup Of The Year.
