Demi Lovato’s new boyfriend Max Ehrich proved he’s always had eyes for the superstar, even an entire decade before their relationship.

Lovato used Instagram stories Thursday to share an adorable throwback tweet of her Young and Restless actor boyfriend declaring an obvious crush on the pop star. 

The tweet, which was written back in 2011, reads, “All I wanted for Christmas was Demi Lovato. #cantalwaysgetwhatyouwant….” The 27-year-old actress and singer captioned the screenshot, “@maxehrich every Christmas? We love a little manifestation.” Their relationship seems to have been nearly a decade in the making.

The Guinness Award-winning megastar has been quarantined with Ehrich, and has shared numerous romantic PDA pictures of the two and their dogs to Instagram. 

The singer and her new beau went public with their relationship earlier this month in the music video for Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber’s new duet, “Stuck With U,” when the two shared a smooch on camera. Even before confirming their relationship themselves, sources close to the couple confirmed the two were dating in late March. 

The star split from boyfriend of six years Wilmer Valderrama back in 2016 and Valderrama has since become engaged.
