Gucci Mane’s done a lot in his career despite all the setbacks that came his way. The rapper’s been consistently dropping projects and music for over 12 years at this point and it doesn’t seem like he’ll be slowing down in the near future. Aside from the quality music, it’s the quantity he puts out that makes him as iconic as he is. After releasing his most recent album, El Gato The Human Glacier, he marked another incredible feat in his career.

Gucci Mane has ficially made history as one three rappers to have eighteen top 10 albums on Billboard’s Rap Charts. The rapper is now tied up with E-40 and Tech N9ne for the spot, both them who also have 18 top 10 albums in their careers. Gucci’s first top 10 album on the Top Rap Charts was his debut album, Trap House, which peaked at number 10. Prior to the end the decade, Gucci had put more numbers on the board with eight more projects. However, his first number one album in the charts would be 2009’s The State Vs. Radric Davis. Since then, he’s reached two more number one albums on the chart including Mr. Davis and his first post-prison fering, Everybody Looking.
Gucci has a good chance surpassing both E-40 and Tech N9ne with his upcoming project, Evil Genius. According to Billboard’s report, Jay-Z currently sits right below each artist with 12 number ones which Boosie Badazz, Pitull and DJ Khaled sit right under him.
