Gunna‘s freshly dropped album, Wunna, is expected to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, which will mark the first No. 1 album of his career. Gunna only just deliveredWunna on Friday, May 22nd, and already, it’s doing numbers. According to HITS Daily Double, early estimates show that Gunna can be expected to rake in between 110,000-130,000 equivalent album units for Wunna, 2,000-5,000 in pure album sales.

Wunna serves as Gunna’s sophomore studio album, following his debut, Drip or Drown 2, in 2019. If these projections prove true, it will mark his biggest first week yet, as well as his first No. 1 album. Drip or Drown 2 was close, however, debuting at No. 2 with 90,000 equivalent album units.

With features from the likes of Travis Scott, Roddy Ricch, Lil Baby, and Young ThugWunna has garnered mostly positive reception since it dropped two days ago. “I’m really just trying to tap in with me showing more of my personality, which is real life,” Gunna told Ebro on Beats 1 Radio Apple Music about the album. “You gotta tap in and let your fans know you more, so that’s where this came from. I made sure I touched every vibe. I got that real sh*t, that fun sh*t, I got that girl sh*t, and then I got that calm just Gunna flow, drip.”

Currently, Nav‘s holds the top spot on the charts with his third studio album, Good Intentions. However, according to predictions, Future will soon be nabbing the throne from Nav, as his new album, High Off Life, is expected to rack up more than 140,000 equivalent album units.
