iPhone SE Wireless Charging Model Coming This Summer: Report

It has recently been reported that Apple tapped a Taiwanese manufacturer to help produce the iPhone SE 2 in their factory in India, which were slated to be released in March this year. Although, it now appears that consumers will be able to pick up a revamped version the model in the summer, which will now include wireless charging capabilities.

According to DigiTimes analyst Luke Lin, this latest iteration will include a glass back, and a larger display than its current 4-inch screen.

The DigiTimes report also alludes to how the California-based company will be expanding their phone repertoire, while doubling down on the specs they initially promised consumers for their latest arsenal iPhones. Apple is said to include only one new model that will come equipped with an OLED display, which will be around 6.4 to 6.5 inches in size.

The other two new devices the company has planned will resort back to an LCD display, with the phones ranging from 5.7 to 6.1 inches. However, this precisely mimics Apple’s iPhone launch last year, which saw the LCD options in the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus debuting alongside the OLED enabled iPhone X.
