Jacob Banks Makes Official Debut With "Village"

Nigerian-born, British-bred singer Jacob Banks has delivered on his official studio debut with Village. The new challenge is the follow-up to the group of EPs that propelled the crooner into the highlight. Drawing inspiration from the phrase “it takes a village,” Banks explains to Clash Magazine that Village “embodies the human expertise, what it means to be human and so many issues. My album celebrates all of the bizarre elements and great elements of us.”

Outfitted with 14 tracks complete, Village options three extra voices from Bibi Bourelly (“Kumbaya”), NANA (“Grown Up”), and Seinabo Sey (“Be Good to Me”). In conjunction with the arrival of the album, Jacob Banks has additionally introduced his first headlining tour in North America the place he’s set to bless crowds in cities that embody Portland, Dallas, Atlanta, Montreal, and Chicago.
