Nas Made A Fortune When Amazon Bought Ring

Nas wasn't among the richest rappers in the rankings Forbes just released.

But he may be next year.

Last week, Amazon.com bought the smart-doorbell maker Ring for an estimated $1 billion in cash.

Nas's investment capital firm, Queensbridge Venture Partner, was known to have been an early investor in Ring.

WeBuyBlack is now reporting that Nas will net $40 million from the sale. We're not sure how ficial that is, but Nas definitely came away from the deal with more than your typical rap bag.

Queensbridge Venture Partners also has investments in companies like Lyft, Dropbox, Rap Genius, and SeatGeek.
