Millie Bobby Brown is, simply put, one the hottest teenagers working in Hollywood today. She’s one the main characters on the critically-acclaimed and much-beloved Netflix TV series Stranger Things, and now, she’s set to make a big move to the big screen, gearing up to star and produce an multi-film franchise.

As per Deadline, the young woman has sealed a deal with Legendary Entertainment that will see her working on both sides the camera in the company latest film franchise. The movies will be based on Nancy Springer’s Enola Holmes Mysteries novel series, books which have become wildly popular in recent years. Brown will produce through her PCMA Productions banner.

In the novels, Enola Holmes is the fourteen-year-old sister the famous literary detective that shares her namesake, Sherlock Holmes. There is a twenty-year age gap between her and the celebrated character that was originally created by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. The series, which is aimed primarily at a teen audience, borrows pieces from the existing world that surrounds the Sherlock storyline, but Enola is a character that was entirely conceived by Springer.

The first book, The Case the Missing Marquess, came out in 2006, with six books in total encompassing the series. There’s no word on whether or not Brown and the folks at Legendary plan on producing all six the novels individually, or if they’ll adapt only a partial amount that source material. One thing’s for sure: with Brown’s star ascending rapidly, she’ll be able to anchor her own film franchise without much trouble at all.
