Chuck D and Flavor Flav had a heated battle online several weeks ago, resulting in the eventual firing of Flav from Public Enemy. During a recent podcast appearance, Chuck D revealed that their feud was all just a hoax for April Fool's Day, noting that the two are still on good terms and it would be impossible to give Flav the boot because he's technically a partner. As it turns out, Chuck D may have been capping because Flavor Flav took to Twitter and he's still going along with the previous narrative that he was fired.
"I am not a part of your hoax," wrote Flavor Flav on Twitter, tagging Chuck D in the post. "There are more serious things in the world right now than April Fool's jokes and dropping records,,,the world needs better than this,,,you say we are leaders so act like one."
The iconic hypeman ended with a link-out to the MusiCares Coronavirus Relief Fund, urging his former friend to take the world into consideration.
With Flavor Flav's statement, we're not sure what to believe. He says that he's not in on the joke, so the fans have been thrown for a loop once again.
Hopefully, these brothers can get their differences sorted out.

K-Pop Star Lies About Coronavirus Status For April Fool’s Day
K-Pop singer/actor Kim Jaejoong claimed he had been hospitalized with COVID-19 but it was all part of a dumb April Fool’s Day joke.
This is precisely why April Fool’s Day shouldn’t be a thing this year. As we navigate through this global health crisis as a collective, some people are using humor to take their minds off of the pandemic. This, however, is not funny in the slightest.
K-Pop singer/actor Kim Jaejoong is making headlines this morning after his attempt at an April Fool’s Day prank, lying about contracting COVID-19 and his hospitalization. The 34-year-old told his near-2-million followers on Instagram that he had been diagnosed with the coronavirus and was receiving treatment. Fifty minutes after uploading the post, he deleted it and explained that he was capping the entire time, trying to raise awareness for social distancing and self-isolation.

“Although this did go quite far for April Fool’s Day, so many people worried about me in a short span of time,” said Kim, in a translated statement. “Oh and I don’t think of this as an April Fool’s joke. My family and my friends are getting sick..and dying..it’s never !! just someone else’s problem. I wanted to tell you that protecting myself is protecting the precious people around us…I will accept all punishment I receive from this post. I hope all of you are healthy.”
Clearly, he went too far in this. In lighter April Fool’s Day news, Lil Nas X also contributed to the makeshift holiday, actually making us laugh with his prank.
Lil Nas X Wins April Fool’s Day
Lil Nas X came through with the funniest April Fool's Day joke of the day so far, trolling his fans about his sexual orientation.
April Fool's Day 2020 has justifiably been canceled this year because, well, nothing can top what we've already lived through during these last three months. The entire year has basically been a complete joke, complete with a literal global pandemic popping off in the last few weeks. If you were planning on pranking your friends and family today, it might be a good idea to reconsider. We're all going through a lot and dealing with this situation differently. Twitter jokes are welcome, however, and the king of said internet activity just reigned supreme once again.

Lil Nas X has been celebrated for the way he connects with his fans online, engaging in ridiculous amounts of banter with his followers and quickly becoming one of the most relatable celebrities on the planet. Much like the rest of us, the 20-year-old recording artist is in self-quarantine but he wasn't about to let a pandemic ruin his months-long preparation for April Fool's Day. He rang off his prank successfully this morning.
"I was never gay. i said it to build up fuel for aprils fools day. ha got u guys," wrote LNX on Twitter, joking about his coming-out moment last year. It took him all of thirteen minutes to reveal he was capping.
"Where the hoes at," he added before bouncing back to his real life. "Ok i’m gay again," he wrote.
Do you think Lil Nas X has April Fool's Day on lock? Can/will anyone out-perform him?
