Cardi B is debunking allegations that she physically and verbally abused a former security guard working at a medical clinic during her pregnancy. According to TMZ, Emani Ellis filed a lawsuit against the Bronx rapper on claims that she was assaulted, struck and spat on by Cardi B. Witnesses have already denied these allegations but Cardi put them to rest herself.
"Why don’t you guys post the part where the doctor office said that that’s not what happen ?and if I assaulted why she didn’t press charges ? Why would I put my hands on some1 twice my size by myself while I’m experiencing sharp pain 4 months pregnant ?" She wrote on Twitter.
The alleged assault occurred on Feb. 24th, 2018, before Cardi had announced her pregnancy. Ellis alleged that she was attacked by Cardi who also used racial slurs against her. This apparently went down at a medical clinic while Cardi was pregnant but witnesses have denied the validity of Ellis' statement as well. Sources say that Ellis attempted to record video or take photos of Cardi but the rapper attempted to stop her because she didn't want to get filmed at the doctor's office.
It didn't end there, though. Ellis reportedly refused and got hospital towards Cardi before things escalated. Fortunately, building staff intervened before things for physical which debunks Ellis' allegations.
Ellis filed a suit against Cardi B for assault, battery and infliction of emotional distress. She claims that Cardi "then used her celebrity status to get [Ellis] fired from her job as a security guard." However, this isn't true, according to a rep from the building, Cardi's doctor and the patient coordinator got Ellis fired because she invaded Cardi's privacy.
Teacher Allegedly Kicked Students During Slavery Lesson
A New Jersey teacher allegedly took a lesson on slavery too far after students reported he kicked them and made whipping noises.
An investigation has officially been opened after an eighth-grade student, revealed that a New Jersey teacher allegedly kicked students and made whip-cracking noises during a history lesson about United States slavery. Toms River social studies teacher, Lawrence Cuneo, who also holds a local political office seat as the mayor of Pine Beach, also allegedly had students reenact the process of picking cotton, while they lay on the floor and he kicked at their feet pretending to be a plantation overseer.
According to the Asbury Park Press, the student took to social media to express his concerns about his teacher’s actions writing:
“It’s good to be informed about slavery but making us clean and pick cotton and pretending to (whip) us? Are you nuts it’s 2020 not 1800 get it right.”
In the wake of the investigation, Toms River School District spokesperson, Michael Kenny, released a statement that the situation could have been handled better stating:
“As we comb through and further investigate the details of the alleged incident, we are keeping in mind that our curriculum has evolved to include more hands-on, authentic activities.” Kenny continued, “It seems initially clear that there was no ill intent but that better judgment should have been used with regard to the alleged instructional methods, particularly as it pertains to recognizing the sensitivities of all students.”
Amidst the controversy, some students and parents have come to the defense of teacher/mayor Cuneo stating that participation in the lesson was ‘voluntary.’ In an email written by Lawrence Cuneo obtained by WKXW, he intended for his lesson to show how “degrading and despicable the institution of slavery was in our history.”
“Slavery existed within our country and the lessons learned, even if uncomfortable, need to be told. At no time was my intention to harm the sensitivities of any student. If this lesson did that, I apologize to those affected.”
When questioned on whether or not Mr. Cuneo remained on the job following the accusation, Toms River School District spokesperson, Michael Kenny did not disclose that information saying the issue is ‘confidential’ and he could not discuss that publicly.
According to enrollment data verified by the New York Daily News, Toms River Intermediate East is a majority white establishment. With educational institutions systematically targeting children of other races, religions, ethnicities, cultures, and more, it’s quite possible that this teacher could have overstepped his boundaries as an educator during a topic that is sensitive to some students. Hopefully, Mr. Cuneo’s curriculum will be adjusted to adhere to a more beneficial teaching method for his students.
Yella Beezy Sued For Allegedly Assaulting Rival Rapper’s Manager: Report
Yella Beezy’s accused of assaulting a man outside of a strip club in Dallas.
Yella Beezy might be blowing up right now but the rapper’s still facing some issues over alleged local feuds. According to TMZ, Yella Beezy has been sued over an alleged assault against a rival rapper’s manager. Brandon Rainwater, who reportedly managed Mo3, said that Yella Beezy and his crew beat him down outside of a Dallas strip club and left him with a dislocated hip.
Rainwater revealed that he pulled up to V Live in Dallas last month when he attempted to get inside of the club. Security then told him to wait outside before things allegedly escalated quickly. Rainwater said that one of the security guards pulled up on him with a gun while Yella Beezy stood behind him. At that point, the alleged victim reportedly tried to evade the scene but he claims Beezy and his crew ran him down and beat him down.
In the documents filed in court, Rainwater said that Beezy and the company then went back to the strip club parking lot where they’re seen bragging about the incident in a video.
Rainwater is aiming for Beezy’s pockets after being hospitalized and having to undergo physical therapy. Rainwater is now suing V Live and Yella Beezy. The club for poor security and Yella Beezy for the assault. Rainwater is demanding $1M for the damages.
Brittney Taylor Angry Over Remy Ma Speaking About Case On "LHHNY": "Stop Milking It"
She also called it a “deformation of character.”
She was bold and unashamed in April 2019 when she took to Instagram to publicly call out rapper Remy Ma, but now Brittney Taylor just wants to be left alone. Last Spring, Brittney shared an image of herself donning what looked to be a painful black eye. In the caption to her photo, Brittney accused her Love & Hip Hop New York co-star of assaulting her at a New York City Cancer benefit concert for no reason at all.

Then, Brittney did an interview alongside her lawyers where she shared details of what she said was an unprovoked attack—an incident that Remy maintained never occurred. Fat Joe was performing at the concert in question and he, too, repeatedly stated that Remy, who was still on probation at the time, never touched Brittney.
Remy faced assault and a number of other charges in connection with the alleged attack, but back in early December 2019, the charges against Remy were dropped. Brittney has been tight-lipped about the case for months, but now that Love & Hip Hop New York is back on the air, Remy is openly speaking about the accusations against her.
Monday (February 3) night’s episode must have rubbed Brittney the wrong way because she wrote a lengthy message on her Instagram Story. First, she accused Remy of “deformation of character” before adding that she was disappointed to see her case being discussed on television when all she wants to do it move on. “I’m in such a better place and space in my life,” Brittney wrote. “It’s a shame I have to watch this bs on TV. The Sad part is I’ve completely moved on. I left it alone. But Them people know what they did. It’s sad af that they’re really Making it seem like I did things for clout.”
“You people Still Bashing my name on national Television is crazy,” she continued. “I went through enough over that situation. I’m literally traumatized! I’m a bigger and better person. I’ve been violated enough. Stop milking it. And Just let a young n*gga be.” Swipe through below.
DaBaby Sued For $6 Million For Alleged Assault Of Event Promoter
The man pursued legal action as promised.
It was previously reported that the victim who was allegedly assaulted and robbed by DaBaby at the beginning of January planned to pursue legal action against the rapper. The lawsuit has now been filed and TMZ has gotten hold of the documents detailing the compensation that the victim is seeking for his beating. The victim, an event promoter named Kenneth Carey, is suing DaBaby, his crew and his entertainment company for “well above $6 million” for battery, breach of contract, defamation and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
According to Carey’s side of the story, the altercation occurred because DaBaby’s request to be paid more for a party appearance was turned down. DaBaby and Carey supposedly agreed on a fee of $20,000 for the former to host Stunna 4 Vegas’ birthday celebration at a nightclub – a fee that was lower than usual since Stunna is DaBaby’s friend and label signee.

The lawsuit states that Carey rented cars for the “Suge” artist and his team when they got to Miami. After one of the cars was returned damaged, DaBaby was billed for it. He asked Carey to be paid another $10,000 to cover this cost, but the promoter refused. This disagreement apparently fuelled DaBaby’s frustration and resulted in him and his team beating, robbing, pantsing and pouring apple juice on Carey.
Following this incident, DaBaby was arrested and charged for battery. He proclaimed that he will emerge unscathed from this lawsuit after being released from jail. “Don’t allow yourself to be [misled] by janky promoters and lazy ass grown men itching for the opportunity to file a lawsuit that they won’t win,” DaBaby wrote on Instagram after he was released from jail. “I remain composed and focused knowing allegations made without honesty and integrity will never be honored by the most high.”

DaBaby Speaks Out After Video Of Him Assaulting Hotel Worker Goes Viral
There’s more than one side to every story.
DaBaby is defending himself after a video of him assaulting a hotel worker hit the web this weekend. In the video, DaBaby can be seen at the Beverly Hills hotel on December 19 pushing a hotel worker into a wall which causes him to fall into a chair. DaBaby then appears to be threatening the worker before the video ends.
In a lengthy Instagram post, DaBaby speaks out and shares his side of the story. “That hotel worker you see me ‘pushing’ came up to me outside the hotel & asked could he record a video of me while I was holding my 2year old daughter,” he wrote. “I calmly and respectfully said no and explained to him that him posting a video of me at the time would compromise the safety of me and my child by letting social media know where we were staying.” After the worker allegedly took a video of DaBaby and his child anyway, things got more direct. “I told him to delete the video immediately and take his bitch ass back in the hotel and do his job since he wasn’t capable of being professional enough to abide by company policy while doing his job outside of the hotel,” continued DaBaby. Read his entire explanation below.
DaBaby Seen Assaulting Hotel Employee In Newly-Surfaced Video
DaBaby misbehaves again.
DaBaby has been struggling to stay out of trouble. He’s been arrested for two separate incidents in the past month-span and now he may be caught in hot water again. On Saturday (Jan. 18), TMZ shared security camera footage that reportedly shows DaBaby roughing up a hotel worker.
While the clip is pretty grainy, the Charlotte rapper can be seen following a male worker into the lobby of a Beverly Hills hotel on December 19. Once they enter, DaBaby grabs the worker and throws him into a wall to have him fall into a chair. He then looms over the victim, sticking his finger in his face while presumably giving him some sort of warning or teaching him some sort of lesson. According to TMZ, this footage captures the aftermath of the hotel worker following DaBaby out of the hotel in an attempt to get a photo with the buzzing artist. Sources say DaBaby turned down the guy’s request, which may have incited a rude comment that led DaBaby to retaliate. However, we’ll have to wait to hear more details about this incident. DaBaby and crew apparently left the hotel without further incident. Cops were not called at the time and there has been no report of pressed charges.
In a statement released to TMZ, DaBaby’s attorney, Michael Heiskell, said: “Any actions taken by DaBaby were likely in self defense based upon his recall of the events and until the video is thoroughly reviewed we have no further comment at this time.”
DaBaby Threatened With Lawsuit By Promoter If Rapper Doesn’t Settle Out Of Court: Report
The promoter’s attorney’s reportedly have given DaBaby until the end of next week.
He may not want the public to focus on his legal troubles, but DaBaby‘s name is back in headlines. The rapper recently spent 48 hours in jail after being arrested on charges of robbery and battery. While the battery charge has been dismissed, the North Carolina rapper still faces allegations that he assaulted and stole $80 from a promoter.

“Don’t allow yourself to be [misled] by janky promoters and lazy ass grown men itching for the opportunity to file a lawsuit that they won’t win,” DaBaby wrote on Instagram after he was released from jail. “I remain composed and focused knowing allegations made without honesty and integrity will never be honored by the most high.” Adding, “Please be reminded that suck ass situations like these aren’t worthy of your time or attention.”
Reports state that concert promoter Kenneth Carey wasn’t able to pay DaBaby the money he owed him and tried to get away with stiffing the rapper. Instead, DaBaby allegedly took money from him as restitution. However, Carey claims that he was prepared to pay DaBaby $20K, but the rapper showed up believing he was owed $30K and became upset.
In a report made by TMZ on Wednesday, Carey and his attorney’s are threatening to sue DaBaby if the rapper doesn’t respond to their request of a settlement. The outlet states that the attorneys have contacted the rapper’s team “in hopes of settling this matter expeditiously.” Carey says that he was “jumped and robbed” by DaBaby and his team, and he’s giving the rapper until the end of next week to respond to his request or he’ll be filing papers to seek damages.
Trouble Accused Of Pulling Woman Out Of Car By Her Hair & Chipping Her Tooth
The incident allegedly occurred after a New Year’s Eve party.
As his name suggests, Trouble has gotten into some hot water after a woman accused him of physically assaulting her early New Year’s Day. Atlanta news outlet 11 Live reported on Wednesday that Trouble and the unnamed woman were involved in an altercation after leaving a party together. According to a report from the Atlanta Police Department, the incident began when the woman confronted Trouble after witnessing him grab another woman’s butt at the party, which they had attended together. Trouble and the woman were in a car when she accused him of the act, and at some point, Trouble told her “I got something for you.” In that moment, the woman claimed that she “feared for her life,” so she “called her sister so that she could know what happened before it happened,” and gave her sister Trouble’s license plate number.
Trouble allegedly grabbed her out of the car by her hair, pulling off her wig. She also accused him of pushing her to the ground and causing her to chip her tooth and bruise her knuckles. According to the police report, her injuries were visible. Trouble has previously been involved in an on-and-off relationship with Love & Hip Hop star, Alexis Skyy, though the two appeared to have broken up again in October when Trouble was caught shooting his shit at Angela Simmons on his Instagram story.
