Eve spoke with her fellow The Talk co-hosts about how she and her white husband, Maximillion Cooper, have been speaking about the issues of race in light of the current nationwide protests against racism and police brutality. On the newest episode of the talk show that aired on Tuesday (June 2nd), Eve told her co-hosts Carrie Ann Inaba, Marie Osmond, Sheryl Underwood, and Sharon Osbourne, as well as special guest, KCBS-TV Los Angeles anchor Pat Harvey, that she and Maximillion have been having "some of the most difficult and uncomfortable conversations" about race that they've ever had. However, she believes it's all so worth it.
"But, at the same time, it's a beautiful thing, because… I don't know his life through his eyes. He doesn't know my life through my eyes," she noted. "All he can do is try to understand and try to ask the questions, and he wants to understand, and that's what the nation — that’s what the world — has to do."

"It's gonna be uncomfortable," she continued. "Yeah, it's going to be uncomfortable! But we have to be okay with being uncomfortable so that we can get to a solution." She went on to express how the protesters fighting for racial justice around the country have been a comfort to her. "There are some people that are having beautiful, peaceful protests, with their fists in the air and their hands in the air and all different colours and genders, all together, on one knee, wanting to get past this," she said. "That's what actually keeps me from getting too emotional."
On Sunday (May 31st), Maximillion shared a post on Instagram in support of these peaceful protestors. "These are challenging times," he wrote on an image of the phrase "F*CK RACISM" written in crayon. "A global pandemic, on the brink of an economic depression, and now America is spinning out of control following George Floyd's horrendous murder. The rioting is unacceptable but the emotions and voice of protesters is loud and clear and needs to be acted upon. This injustice can't be ignored. It's all of our responsibilities to stand up against discrimination and racism, and to treat each other with respect and dignity #blacklivesmatter."
N.O.R.E Explains Tension With Lamar Odom On "Drink Champs"
N.O.R.E explains why things where things went left in his “Drink Champs” interview with Lamar Odom.
NORE’s Drink Champs might be one of the most important podcasts in hip-hop right now. The rapper/journalist has used his platforms to get his guests comfortable to discuss topics they may otherwise not speak about. That being said, there are times where things do get intense such as his recent interview with Lamar Odom. It got to the point where Odom was a little too inebriated and expressed how he felt disrespected by NORE and the Drink Champs team.
“I feel disrespected man,” Odom said. “I don’t want to make it a beef but put your shoes on my feet. Like I fuck with you. This whole angle on this interview went like crazy.” It surely made for an awkward moment on the show, one where they nearly came to blows.
NORE recently spoke to Page Six about the incident and explained that it was rooted in a question that he posed about Odom’s championship ring without knowing the basketball star lost all of them.
“I kept bringing up the fact that he has a ring, but I did not know that he actually lost his rings,” he said. “So in retrospect he might’ve thought I was joking or making fun of him. So, he basically lost his rings, which he thought was public knowledge, but I didn’t know. He thought that I was clowning him so he was upset with that. And I made it known that I wasn’t aware.”
Khloe Kardashian Feels "Awkward" Watching "KUWTK" With Tristan
Khloe Kardashian admitted it's "awkward" watching her reality show, "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" with her ex-boyfriend and baby daddy, Tristan Thompson.
Khloe Kardashian was feeling a little uncomfortable watching the season 18 premiere of Keeping Up With The Kardashians with her ex-boyfriend and baby daddy, Tristan Thompson, right next to her, considering her siblings did not hold back on how they really felt about the guy. The latest season of the infamous reality show following the lives of the Kardashian-Jenner clan premiered on Thursday night, and the now-amicable exes and co-parents, Khloe and Tristan, took in the first episode together.

While the two of them are cool with each other now, Tristan's various cheating scandals has caused a ton of tension between them in the past. Back when Khloe and Tristan were not on great terms, Khloe's siblings—particularly Kim Kardashian—were not the biggest fans of Tristan. Considering the show was filmed many months ago, the events of the episode are long behind them, but it's still uncomfortable for Khloe to watch Tristan hear what her sisters have said about him behind his back. Khloe was live-tweeting the premiere on Thursday, and admitted that watching the show with Tristan is "awkward."
"I love that tristan is watching this premiere with me and he is now seeing what they say when he’s not around," she wrote. "Lol AWKWARD!!" The first episode chronicled the lingering fallout from Tristan's cheating scandal with former family friend, Jordyn Woods. At one point, Kim confronts the NBA star at dinner and tells him she is "livid" with him.
"The most uncomfortable dinner EVER lol," Khloe tweeted about the scene. However, onscreen, Kim claims that the evening was completely fine with no tension. "I love that Kimberly says nobody was awkward," Khloe tweeted. "Because I was tense watching that."
Kim also addressed the events of the episode on Twitter while the episode was airing, indicating that she feels very differently about Tristan now. "I actually LOVE Tristan now like a brother FR!" she tweeted. "We totally bonded and worked through our issues and love him."
The episode also saw an explosive fight break out between Kim and Kourtney Kardashian, which was previewed in a clip last month. The altercation turned violent after Kim criticized Kourtney's work ethic.
