Joe Budden and Nicki Minaj have a long history of throwing jabs at one another and that continued following the announcement of the Queen's new collaboration with Tekashi 6ix9ine.
Updating her merch shop, Nicki Minaj announced her new single with 6ix9ine called "Trollz." The song will be available at the end of this week and a part of the proceeds will be donated to a bail fund for low-income individuals.
Joe Budden saw the announcement and he immediately took a dig at both artists, pondering why they're being so secretive about the percentage or amount that the donation will be.
"'A portion of the proceeds' huh… lol," wrote the rap commentator and podcaster on Twitter. The post has earned significant responses from Nicki Minaj stans, who challenged him to show what he's done in terms of philanthropy during this time. He hit back by telling them that they did not deserve to know what he's done.
"Why? Who are you? Lol," he asked one fan.
Tekashi 6ix9ine and Nicki Minaj have not specified how much money will be going to The Bail Project, solely stating that a "portion of the proceeds" will be sent.
Will you be tuning in to hear the new single on Friday?

The last time these two linked up, they made streaming magic with "FEFE." With tons of rainbow gear in stock, Nicki and Tekashi are back together, announcing the release of "Trollz" this Friday.
Shortly after the news was made public, the Queen of Rap made a statement in support of Black Lives Matter, telling her fans that a portion of the proceeds from the new song, including merch, will go toward The Bail Project.
"A portion of the proceeds from #Trollz including merch items, will be going directly to The Bail Project Inc.," announced Nicki on Twitter. "The fund provides free bail assistance to low-income individuals who can’t afford to pay bail. #BlackLivesMatter #TrollzVIDEO tmrw @ midnight."
The release of this single has been pushed back for three straight weeks. Last week, Tekashi 6ix9ine delayed it another seven days because of the civic unrest in America. They appear to be going through with the song, using it to bolster efforts across the nation by donating to The Bail Project.

Virgil Abloh Claps Back At Criticism Over $50 Bail Fund Donation
Virgil Abloh isn’t too happy with the narratives floating around social media right now.
Virgil Abloh came under fire last night after he posted to his Instagram story showing that he had only donated $50 to a bail fund for protesters. Of course, this amount was considered to be quite the joke considering the fact that Off-White socks will run you a light $100 at your local department store. Simply put, fans were disappointed that someone so wealthy and with such a big platform would come out and be stingy with their money.
Today, Abloh went back on his IG story and posted a message to his followers noting that he has had enough of the social media narratives. As he explains, the $50 was simply a part of a donation-match initiative he was doing with his friends. Abloh also noted that he will be revealing the total amount he’s donated, in the not so distant future.

“More light before a narrative forms around false assumptions,” Virgil said. “The $50 donation described in a recent screenshot was part of a matching funds movement of friends i follow in my timeline.”
Clearly, the incessant Twitter memes have been getting to Abloh and now, he is feeling the heat. Regardless, every little bit helps in this fight and hopefully, Abloh understands that he has a massive platform that could be used to enact systemic change in society.
Virgil Abloh Roasted On Social Media For George Floyd Response
Many are upset with Virgil Abloh following his response to the George Floyd protests.
Virgil Abloh is perhaps the biggest name in all of streetwear and fashion right now although as it stands, he is catching quite a bit of heat on social media thanks to his recent stance on all of the protests going on across the United States. Following the death of George Floyd, people are upset and amongst the peaceful protesters, there have also been some riots and destruction of property.
Fellow streetwear influencer Sean Wotherspoon had his store vandalized and Abloh decided to take aim at those who did it claiming he was disgusted. This led to a strong reaction from fans who felt like Abloh was dismissing the concerns of the protesters. Later on, Abloh tried to rectify his comments with a $50 donation to a bail fund, which prompted even more social media vitriol.
The vast majority of the criticism stemmed from the fact that Abloh sells clothes for an obscene amount of money and that a pair of Off-White socks costs way more than the $50 he donated. While people can be supportive in any way they see fit, some fans were disappointed at how little Abloh wanted to contribute to such an important cause.
Abloh's name is still trending on social media and the memes were certainly flying. Check out some of the reactions, below.
