Nicki Minaj made a major announcement this morning, updating her merch shop and hereby announcing her new collaborative single with Tekashi 6ix9ine. The last time these two linked up, they made streaming magic with "FEFE." With tons of rainbow gear in stock, Nicki and Tekashi are back together, announcing the release of "Trollz" this Friday.
Shortly after the news was made public, the Queen of Rap made a statement in support of Black Lives Matter, telling her fans that a portion of the proceeds from the new song, including merch, will go toward The Bail Project.
"A portion of the proceeds from #Trollz including merch items, will be going directly to The Bail Project Inc.," announced Nicki on Twitter. "The fund provides free bail assistance to low-income individuals who can’t afford to pay bail. #BlackLivesMatter #TrollzVIDEO tmrw @ midnight."
The release of this single has been pushed back for three straight weeks. Last week, Tekashi 6ix9ine delayed it another seven days because of the civic unrest in America. They appear to be going through with the song, using it to bolster efforts across the nation by donating to The Bail Project.

His defense had not opposed this motion in court.
Chauvin was arrested and charged with third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter, though prosecutors also added a second-degree murder charge in an amended filing. Nicki Minaj’s Husband Kenneth Petty Gets Good News
Nicki Minaj’s husband Kenneth Petty is awaiting trial after failing to register as a sex offender, but he’s learned that he is able to use his cell phone and the internet until then.
Nicki Minaj‘s husband Kenneth Petty, a convicted rapist, landed himself in hot water recently after he was arrested for failing to register as a sex offender. He was released shortly after on a $100,000 bail note, but he is currently awaiting trial to see if he will be forced to spend more time in prison. Until then, he has learned some promising news from the judge as it is now being reported that, despite his ongoing legal case, Petty is allowed to use his cell phone and the internet.
Kenneth Petty was originally convicted in the 90s and, for the rest of his life, he needs to register as a sex offender wherever he lives. The 41-year-old had been living with his wife in the state of California for over six months before the feds caught onto his unregistered status, detaining him and forcing him into another legal battle. It is being reported that Petty has been given some leeway though while he’s out on bail, being given access to his cellular phone and the internet.

After his arrest, Petty took the time to register as a sex offender in the state of California. However, because he did so late, he could still be facing some time in prison.

YG’s Bail Set AT $250K After Robbery Arrest, The Game Calls Out LAPD
Free YG.
YG was arrested earlier today after his home was raided by the Los Angeles' Sheriff's Department. Authorities had a search warrant as well as an arrest warrant. It's still unclear if this case is related to the murder case involving his murder case but his lawyer, Joe Tacopina, has suspicions about the case.

According to TMZ, the rapper's bail has been set at $250K. Tacopina, though, believes the entire arrest is suspicious, at least based on the time of it. "This arrest is one that caught YG completely off guard because there is no truth to them. YG has no idea what investigators are talking about and we have not been provided with any details ... we are learning about this case through the media," Tacopina said. "Rest assured, my client will be cleared of all charges, if they even survive past the arraignment."
But the timing of this arrest has drawn major suspicions more than anything else. Tacopino suggested that the timing of the arrest raises many question since YG was supposed to perform at the Grammys on Sunday. "YG has a performance scheduled at The Grammy's Sunday where he will honor Nipsey Hussle ... so the timing is suspect, to put it mildly," he added.
Tacopina isn't the only one who thinks that it's suspicious. In fact, The Game was much more blatant about his feelings towards YG's situation.
"Funny how YG gets arrested the weekend of the Grammy's when he's supposed to hit the stage in Nip's honor. #LAPDTheBiggestGangHere," The Game tweeted.

Pop Smoke is outside… with racks.
Pop Smoke has made a ton of news in recent times. The rapper found himself in a bit of beef and some legal trouble but it seems like everything is good with him, for the moment. Following Paris Fashion Week, the rapper was arrested upon his arrival in New York. Police said that the rapper transported a stolen Rolls-Royce and now, he’s facing some years in the case.
Pop is undoubtedly one of the hottest out right now so a potential prison sentence could be detrimental to his career and his pockets. But shortly after his arraignment, it was reported that his bond was set at $250K and his mother was forced to put her home up in order to make sure he was released from jail. Well, the rapper has been flashing racks in recent times to dispel the rumors. Taking to the ‘Gram, he wanted to put those reports to rest, once again, with a photo of himself holding a massive amount of cash.
“NIGGAS SAID?I COULDNT PAY FOR MY BAIL?,” he wrote. I TOLD EM?BELIEVE NONE OF WHAT YOU HEAR??AND HALF OF WHAT YOU SEE.”
In related news, the rapper announced that he was dropping his upcoming project, Meet The Woo 2 next month. With a Feb. 7th release date set, we’re excited to see how he comes through on his new project.
Pop Smoke’s Mom Lists House To Bail Him Out; Rapper Faces 10 Years: Report
Pop Smoke’s next court hearing is in February.
After taking off with a number of boisterous singles in “Dior,” “Welcome to the Party,” and his feature on Travis Scott‘s “GATTI,” Brooklyn rapper Pop Smoke is on pace to enjoy quite an impressive year as a breakout star in the game. He will need to jump over his fair share of obstacles to achieve the success that he is clearly destined for though. Last week, it was reported that the rapper had been arrested upon his arrival at a New York airport, being taken into custody for attempting to transport a stolen Rolls-Royce vehicle from California to New York. According to Complex, Pop Smoke entered a not guilty plea and will be back in court early next month. Moments after his release from jail, he linked up with his short-lived rival Casanova to squash their feud but that wouldn’t have been possible without some tremendous financial support from his mother.

As reported by VladTV, Pop Smoke’s mom paid off the rapper’s $250,000 bond by listing her home for sale. The recording artist is on pace to make a good chunk of change this year and he will surely get Momma Smoke in a brand new mansion as soon as the funds become available. Hopefully, his trajectory is not taken off path because of this as, in relation to his arrest, Pop Smoke is facing ten years in prison if proven guilty.
Pop Smoke will be back in court on February 3. Stay tuned for updates on the Brooklynite’s case.
R. Kelly Has No Visitors In Jail Other Than Remaining Girlfriend, Joycelyn Savage
Kelly being a loner is being cited as a reason for him to be granted bail.
Last week, R. Kelly’s two girlfriends living in his Trump Tower condo in Chicago got in a physical altercation that resulted in one of them leaving the his clutches. Azriel Clary was the woman who decided to depart the confusing love triangle. Girlfriend #2, Joycelyn Savage, was arrested for assault following her fight with Clary, but has since been released. Clary tweeted that she hopes for Savage to “come to her own realization” regarding the unhealthy dynamic between her and R. Kelly, but Savage is remaining loyal to the disgraced singer. According to legal documents obtained by The Blast, she is the only one still visiting her man while he sits behind bars in Chicago federal jail.
The documents pertained to Kells’ lawyer trying to get his client released on bail. This has been an ongoing battle, but federal prosecutors are refusing to grant Kelly bail due to the potential danger he poses to society. Kelly’s lawyer is arguing that the government’s stance is precluding any possibility of the singer building a defense for himself. “They cannot have it both ways,” the document reads. “Arguing that he should not be released on bail because of obstructive behavior and then arguing that even though he was not released on bail there is a danger of obstructive behavior. It is apparently a vortex from which he cannot escape.”

Savage being Kelly’s only visitor was mentioned when his lawyer was attempting to prove that Kelly does not have enough connections to tamper with evidence related to his case. “As noted above, Mr. Kelly remains in custody at the federal jail in Chicago. All of his phone calls are monitored. All of his mail is monitored. Other than legal counsel his only visitor is his girlfriend, Joycelyn. He simply has no means or method by which to engage in any obstructive conduct.”
Kelly is demanding the names of “Jane Doe” accusers to be revealed so he could build a defense. “It is impossible to interview witnesses, to search for records, or to do anything without this information,” his lawyer wrote. However, if he is granted this information, then the argument he’s making to be released pending trial would be compromised.

DaBaby was arrested for his alleged involvement in a robbery a few days ago in Florida. The alleged victim is a concert promoter who said that he was planning a birthday bash for DaBaby’s artist Stunna 4 Vegas. The rapper reportedly agreed to do the event for $30K but once he met with the promoter, he received $20K with the other $10K set to be handed over to him after the show was done. From there, the rapper and his crew allegedly jumped the man and robbed him of $80, a credit card, and an iPhone 7 but what really stood out about the incident is that, apparently, DaBaby and his crew decided to douse the man in apple juice as their finishing move.
During the arrest, it was revealed that DaBaby had a warrant out for his arrest in Texas on allegations that he’s connected to some sort of organized crime activity. Those charges, however, have since been dropped.
The alleged victim is planning on filing a lawsuit again DaBaby.
