Once again, Queen Bey’s 8-year old daughter Blue Ivy shows that she’s in charge.
In a short video uploaded to Tina Knowles’ Instagram page, Beyonce’s mother and old bandmate Kelly Rowland wished a Happy Mother’s Day to all the beautiful mothers out there. Then, an anonymous and adorable voice in the back can be heard saying, “And don’t forget all the beautiful daughters out there…which I am one of!”
This Mother’s Day upload by Tina comes following a shoutout from daughter Beyonce on the “Savage” remix. In a recent conversation with Entertainment Weekly, Tina commented on their adorable relationship, sharing, “That was really, really cute. People started texting me [saying,] ‘Ok, savage,’ and I was like, ‘What are they talking about?’”
While Jay Z and Beyonce’s eldest daughter doesn’t actually make an appearance in the short clip, the Beyhive speculated that the voice belongs to none other than Blue Ivy herself. Blue continues to live up to the boss-like persona attached to her by the Beyhive, with one Twitter user saying, “Blue Ivy won’t ever take her foot off their necks, she needs to be a voice actor. She is animated just like Dora.”
