Trippie Redd and Playboi Carti have an interesting history -- lest we forget the latter was previously featured on A Love Letter To You 4, only to have his fan-favorite verse swiftly removed for reasons unknown. At the time, Trippie opted to leave the removal open to interpretation, inviting fans to draw their own conclusion. Unfortunately, many surmised that he felt threatened by the positive response and decided to reposition the spotlight, thereby sparking an unflattering narrative in the process.

Suffice it to say, Carti and Redd are now connected, albeit tenuously, by the dubious backstory. Therefore, when Trippie previewed his new song "Hello Kitty" on Instagram Live, fans were quick to draw comparisons to the elusive Die Lit auteur. Citing the digitally-distorted instrumental as one exhibit and the squeaky-pitched helium vocals as another, "Hello Kitty" quickly caused Playboi Carti fans to mobilize across the timeline. Especially after Redd took to Instagram comments to confirm that the vocals were indeed him.
Before long, Trippie was finding his new exercise in stylistic experimentation placed directly beneath the magnifying glass. A rather unfortunate development, as the track actually sounds rather promising -- despite its sonic similarities to Carti's signature aesthetic. Considering that the verse removal still looms overhead, the perceived "biting" might resonate all the stronger. That's not to throw a hat in this particular race; Redd has proven himself to be a versatile artist capable of many different styles. Yet this one did elicit a passionate response from Carti's base, with some of their ire embedded below for your viewing pleasure.
ZaZa’s Parents Call Out North West’s Yeezy Season 8 Performance
Five-year-old rapper ZaZa and her team weren’t happy to see that North West remixed her song “What I Do?” and performed it at the Yeezy Season 8 show without giving proper credit.
We’re sure nobody woke up today and expected to be witnessing a public beef between two toddlers, yet here we are! Following today’s surprise performance by pint-sized diva-in-the-making North West at the Yeezy Season 8 fashion show spearheaded by her dad Kanye West, the parents of five-year-old rapper ZaZa jumped on Instagram after feeling like Northie remixed “What I Do?” without giving proper credit to the original.

ZaZa’s viral hit “What I Do?” was released last summer and has garnered over 13 million views since then. North put a clever twist on the song for her performance — it still feels wild typing that! — sampling the infamous “What are those?!” line for her remixed version. ZaZa’s parents didn’t see the move as disrespectful exactly, but given the huge platform they seemed to be upset that Kanye or Kim Kardashian didn’t give any acknowledgement toward where or who North’s version was inspired by. “We admire Kanye west, and adore his journey,” one of ZaZa’s parents wrote for her on IG, continuing by adding, “However, we don’t wanna feel like our daughter’s journey in the world of entertainment is being STIFLED.” Many people agreed in the comments, including singer Tinashe who jokingly wrote, “North west wishes.”
Check out the Instagram post below, and let us know if you think this is all just an innocent misunderstanding or is North West and the Kardashian clan wrong for not giving credit where it’s rightfully due:
Teejayx6 Calls Out Lil Pump For Biting His Rap Flow
Teejayx6 hopped on Instagram to accuse Lil Pump of biting his rap flow, backed by a co-sign from his fellow Detroit rap affiliate Kasher Quon.
Teejayx6, one of our 13 artists to watch in 2020, is currently making waves on the Detroit rap scene which could easily be attributed to his distinctive rap flow. However, he’s now claiming that Florida rap star Lil Pump might be guilty of swagger jacking on a new track that he previewed recently.

“Wow everybody tag @lilpump for stealing my flow,” the “Swipe Story” emcee wrote as a caption to the video he, ironically, swiped from Pump’s IG Stories, continuing his rant by adding, “tell that n***a i need a song now with me @kasherquon on it back from when he captioned dynamic duo.” Kasher Quon was quick to chime in, writing in the comments, “Really tried to steal our flow” before sending a few shots on his own page to claim Pump has been listening to them “since the summer” and used one of their songs as a picture caption. The song in question is “Dynamic Duo” by Kasher Quon featuring Teejayx6, and the line goes “Your b**ch was on her period, I told her put her head down.” They claim Lil Pump switched up a few words and wrote “She on her period I told her top me for now” for his IG post.
Take a look at the jabs at Lil Pump from both Teejayx6 and Kasher Quon below, and let us know if you think they have a point or just reaching:
French Soccer Player Bites Rival’s Penis, Lengthy Suspension Ensues
You can't be doing that.
No man should ever bite another man's private parts. While this is a rule that probably shouldn't be spoken about, there are times where it bears repeating because of the few people who do it, out of sheer ignorance. Back in November, an amateur French soccer game occurred between Terville and Soetrich. At one point, two players began to get into an altercation. That's when a Terville player stepped in to break things up. According to Sports Illustrated, the Soetrich player retaliated by biting the interfering player on the penis.
The Terville player was rushed to hospital where he got 12 stitches to close up the wound. After months of deliberation, the soccer governing body for the league ruled that the player who committed the foul act would be suspended for five years.
What's interesting about this whole ordeal is the fact that the victim has been suspended until June 30th of this year. According to the report, his conduct in the parking lot after the game was deemed inappropriate, hence the suspension. To be fair, if you get your private parts bit, you're not going to be very happy about it.
Needless to say, this league has a lot to worry about moving forward.
Did Popeyes Just Rip Off Beyoncé’s New Adidas x Ivy Park Collection?
Even down to the lookbook shots, the new Popeyes employee uniforms might be a little too much in formation.
Few may know this fun music fact, but Beyoncé at one point was a huge fans of Popeyes Chicken — like, lifetime-membership-card-for-free-chicken-FOREVER huge. Of course this was back in her Destiny's Child days, way before she went vegan a few years back. Well, Popeyes must've been feeling some type of way about Bey's betrayal and decided to take revenge by completely ripping off her new adidas x IVY PARK collection for their new employee uniforms.
Taking the term "biting" to a whole different level, Popeyes copied everything from the sportswear aesthetic even down to the lookbook imagery. We would say they stole the colorway, but surprisingly enough it may be the other way around as the maroon and orange hues have been synonymous with the fast food eatery way before Beyoncé even thought about getting into athletisure. Of course, the BeyHive had a field day with Popeye's new apparel announcement, taking to social media to completely sting them with all sorts of jabs and jokes.
See some of the most hilarious responses to Popeyes' Beyoncé-inspired unis below, and let us know who you think is the supreme chick in this high-frying fashion feud:
