Azealia Banks is one of the most talented female rappers of all-time. Although her legacy has been tainted, she remains one of the women who pushed forward a female inclusion in the genre when they wasn't getting any love. We were even confident enough to place her debut album, Broke With Expensive Taste, on our list of the top twenty-five hip-hop debuts of this century.
Still, despite her clear talent, the 28-year-old recording artist continues to make headlines for her alternative lifestyle instead of her art.
The latest example of this comes as part of the new issue of NOTION Magazine, where a former collaborator shares the advice he received from Banks when he considered taking up witchcraft.

You've likely heard about the rapper sacrificing chickens in her closet. Apparently, she also collects snake blood as well.
"In my beginning days of doing witchcraft, I asked her for some advice on a spell," says pop author Alex Kazemi about Azealia. "She was like, 'Why don't you just go down to the river, find a garter snake, cut it and use its blood?'"
While the extent of Azealia Banks' talent seemingly knows no borders, the extent of her madness is somewhere around that point too.

Dunkin Donuts Accused Of Serving Bloody Doughnuts In Florida
A couple in Florida is accusing a local Dunkin Donuts of serving them doughnuts covered in blood.
A couple in Florida have a reason to be angry after they were allegedly served bloody doughnuts from a local Dunkin Donuts. According to WPLG Local 10, Magelo and Rodrigo Esquivel made a pitstop at a Florida Dunkin Donuts where they claim they were served donuts from an employee whose hand was wrapped in a blood-stained napkin. Ultimately, the blood seemingly soaked up in the products in their bag.
"I'm like, ‘What is that?’ I'm like, ‘That is not jelly,’” Magelo said. “I grabbed the bag because it had the rest of the napkins and I see another red stain on the bag and I'm like, ‘Hold on.’ So we pulled off to the side of the road and I'm like, ‘This is blood. This is not jelly.’”
Their first reaction was to see if they were bleeding, which they weren't. They went back through the drive-thru while videotaping their encounter with the person who served them. The employee attempted to deny the claims but Magelo doubled down on claims that her bag and doughnut were "full of blood."
The couple will have to go through two more blood tests in the next year before it's determined whether they were exposed to any diseases. Dunkin’ Donuts initially offered a $25 gift card for their troubles but the couple declined. After the story spread across the interview, the corporate office for the donut spot said that they will offer to pay the medical bills and the blood tests.
"Upon learning of this incident at the Dunkin’ restaurant in Hollywood, FL, we immediately contacted the franchisee who owns and operates this location. He informed us that the crew member had experienced a paper cut,” a Dunkin Donuts rep told Vice. “He reiterated the proper food safety and quality standards protocol with the crew member, including the necessity of wearing gloves, with the crew member. The franchisee also confirmed he reached out to the guest to resolve the matter and apologize for the negative experience.”
The Weeknd Isn’t Here For Your "Blinding Lights" Period Jokes
The Weeknd is a little grossed out.
We hailed The Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights” video as one of his best visual displays ever but some of his fans aren’t quite able to see through all the blood that appears in the clip. If you haven’t seen it yet, there’s A LOT of blood gracing the face of the Canadian superstar, who gets into a fight and walks throughout the city with his visage a dark shade of crimson. People have been cracking jokes about one particular instance in the video, where The Weeknd maniacally laughs with dark red liquid dripping from his mouth. Of course, there are a few fans bringing “that time of the month” into question but Abel isn’t too keen on imagining that picture in his head.
“Him: you’re extra wet tonight huh *turns on the lights*,” captioned one fan on a video of The Weeknd laughing with blood covering his mouth. Surprisingly enough, the recording artist actually commented back to the oral sex joke, dropping a singular “unimpressed” emoji and leaving it at that. Clearly, he expects more from his audience.
If you haven’t watched the video for “Blinding Lights” yet, do yourself a favor and check it out here. It will likely end up as one of the best music videos of the entire year.
