If you don't acknowledge the charity work you've done in your city, people will automatically assume that you're not doing anything to help out and that's wrong. There are people, like Khalid, who prefer not to publicize all of the philanthropic work they've done, keeping that type of information to himself and those that he has helped. With all the resources that the R&B superstar has at this point, you've got to believe that he's been trying to assist in areas where he can, funding charities close to his heart and launching foundations in his hometown, but still, somebody felt like trying him on Twitter today.
When one person tweeted that Khalid has taken advantage of underground community support, stolen people's money in El Paso and never done anything of note in his community, the singer rightfully put them down. "Actually, I created a foundation that supports music & schools in underserved communities," he began. "It starts in El Paso and my goal is to provide resources and help bridge education and prominent music programs in the city. I’m giving 30,000 in scholarships next month."

That's not all he's done though. He felt a need to continue in another post. "I’ve donated a shit load of money in El Paso, and these past two christmas’ I have came and personally handed out Christmas gifts to kids in the city as well," he explained.
Khalid doesn't necessarily need to clarify what he's done in his community. However, he felt a need to let everybody know that he's not playing around and that he really does rep the 915.
21 Savage Shows Off His Charitable Side On 'The Ellen Show'
Known as one the world's favorite trappers, 21 Savage has shown his business insight over the last few weeks, attempting to influence the youth to spend their money wisely. The ATL musician disavowed jewelry, saying that he prefers to put his money towards real estate and cryptocurrency investments. Aside from the occasional splurge at the Gucci store, 21 is showing that he has the wits to stay rich for a while, even as he continues to make music and rake in the benefits being one the top rappers worldwide.
Today's episode The Ellen DeGeneres Show features 21 Savage, who performed a few tracks for the crowd. Based on Ellen's regular audience and 21's lyrical content, we can safely assume that the crowd was terrified 21 Savage by the end the episode. Having made a seamless transition from rapping about murder to modern-day celebrity coupled with Amber Rose, 21 continued to demonstrate ways to contribute your wealth that are superior to diamonds and gold: charity. 21 Savage stayed true to his name, presenting a check worth $21,000 to Get Schooled, a non-prit organization designed to inspire young people to attend higher education institutes.
The evolution 21 Savage has been fascinating, as he continues to do good in the world, encouraging kids to make a positive difference in the world and teaching them that with wealth, comes responsibility. You can watch 21 on Ellen, being the good dude that he is.
Drake & Miami Youth Center May Collaborate Again In Future
Drake has been sharing the wealth and encouraging his fans to do good to one another since he released the video for "God's Plan." Drizzy donated all the near million-dollar budget that was allocated by the label for the video to charitable causes. The video shows him granting a scholarship to a lucky student, buying out the grocery store for shoppers and gracing children at a homeless shelter with his presence (and tons necessities.) The 6ix God wasn't done there, as he updated his Instagram story to challenge his fans to do something to make their peers smile, similar to XXXTentacion's Helping Hand Challenge last month.

Drake may not be done here, though, as the Overtown Youth Center, which he visited in the music video, posted that they're looking forward to future collaborations with the artist. The OYC captioned a repost Drake's IG shot with, "Thanks @champagnepapi for choosing us! We got work to do.... Let's give them a fighting chance to succeed! Looking forward to working with you and your team on our next big project #godsplan #OYCDrakeCollabo."
