This EDM Trio Is Replacing Demi Lovato At A Festival for Free
Demi Lovato was admitted to the hospital earlier this week for what was believed to be a heroin overdose. The singer is now in stable condition at a Los Angeles hospital, and a source close to Lovato denies that she was treated for a heroin overdose; they declined to mention what specific drugs were taken. Another representative for Lovato stated, “Some of the information being reported is incorrect and they [her family] respectfully ask for privacy and not speculation as her health and recovery is the most important thing right now.”
All the same, some imminent performances from Lovato have been cancelled, including her appearance on the Atlantic City beach tonight. Fortunately, the music will go on tonight as Cheat Codes have been tapped as her replacement.
Cheat Codes and Lovato released a hit song together last year called “No Promises,” so the switch out isn’t completely out of left field, and fans of Lovato can be sure to still hear at least one of her songs in the trio’s set.
According to NJ.com, “Ticket holders for the original Lovato show need not bring their tickets to this show. Those tickets can be used for The Chainsmokers’ performance on the beach on Sunday, or they can be refunded at point of purchase. ”

Cheat Codes Call The Chainsmokers "Pussies" For Copying Something They Didn't Even Come Up With
Throwing money out into the crowd at music events has been a thing for ages. There’s no way to tell who started it, but it certainly wasn’t Cheat Codes. Nonetheless, it seems they believe it was…
Yes, Cheat Codes have made it a “thing” at their shows to bring $1,000 in cash and throw it out into the crowd, but calling out another artist for it is just begging for ridicule on their own part. This latest show of professionalism appeared on Twitter today when they called out The Chainsmokers for throwing out money during their set at Intrigue in Las Vegas.
“What else are you pussies gunna copy? @TheChainsmokers,” they wrote.
— Cheat Codes (@CheatCodesMusic) May 5, 2018
The tweet implies they believe that The Chainsmokers copied something else as well, but that’s a whole other conversation for another time. The crux of the matter is that they think they were the first to throw money into a crowd, which is just ludicrous and vain.
Shaun Frank replied and said they’d better call out Fetty Wap while they’re at it. They’d also better call out Party Thieves, and probably dozens or hundreds more artists if they’re really trying to claim ownership.

While we’re willing to give them the benefit of the doubt over their last indiscretion, there’s no way back from this one. The Chainsmokers even clapped back with absolute savagery.
we’ve never thrown money at a show. unlike you guys, we don’t have to pay people to come see us.
