Internet Oddity Poppy Teases New Collab with Diplo
Songstress and internet sensation Poppy has already captured our attention with her 2017 Mad Decent debut Poppy.Computer, and before that her single “Low Life” was remixed by Slushii. Now, she’s onto even bigger things, as the pop star has announced another album and forthcoming collaborations with Grimes and Diplo.
It sounds like she’s experimenting with her sound like never before, especially with her next album Am I A Girl? In an interview with NME, Poppy revealed these huge forthcoming collaborations on the record.
“There are some collaborations that I’m very excited about. I’m doing a song with Grimes and with Diplo as well. The songs are very, very different from each other but I’m very excited.”
Her leading single “In A Minute” sets the tempo for the release, but the next track is sure to shake things up.
“The song that I have with Diplo is coming out next. It’s very futuristic sounding,” according to Poppy. “Diplo brought his dance beats. I wanted to work with Diplo for a long time.”
As for the Grimes collab, it all started with a follow and a DM on Twitter. She also loves Madonna and dreams of collaborating with Marilyn Manson.

LISTEN: Here Are All The Known IDs from REZZ's New Album
Rezz just announced her second album, Certain Kind Of Magic, due out August 3. We know that we’ll be getting two of the singles in June, the first of which being “Witching Hour” this next Friday, June 8. Aside from that, we were also gifted with the tracklist for the album, which clears up some of the missing titles for all of the Rezz ID’s that we’ve been hearing over the past few months.
With some trips to 1001tracklists, and a close eye on her EDC 2018 set at circuitGROUNDS, plus some minor sleuthing, we were able to come up with five out of the eight tracks from the album that we’ve already known and love. Her collaborations with 1788-L and 13 have been known since early this year, as early as February when Rezz dropped “The Crazy Ones” at Wobbleland, and “H E X” at Ultra.
“Life & Death” has been known for a little while now, as well. We’re not sure when “Flying Octopus” and “Spider on the Moon” were first dropped, but they’re unmistakable when paired with the visuals during her set from Las Vegas.
Check out the known IDs below, and let us know if you’ve heard any others! We’d be particularly excited to hear that Fytch collaboration, considering Rezz is known for mixing out of “Sirens Over Paris” during all of her sets before the drop.

Tiësto Talks Discovering Martin Garrix & Superstar Collabs In Major New Interview
What’s it like being Tiësto?
ABC News got an all access pass to experience a day in the life of the celebrity DJ/producer. His fast-paced lifestyle, huge festival appearances, big name collaborations, and larger than life sound are all what make Tiësto a true Godfather of dance music — and there’s no stopping him.
The snapshot below covers a lot of ground in a short time, with Las Vegas being just one of the many focal points. He describes a city with different levels of wild, as Las Vegas tends to be. Sometimes the crowd gets “wild” and sometimes they get “really wild.” From the large crowds at EDC to the more intimate residency shows, Tiësto considers Las Vegas a huge part of him.
The dance legend also talks discovering Martin Garrix and superstar collaborations with Gucci Mane and Post Malone. But most notably he discusses the direction of his own sound, which he considers to be “underground” more than commercial. That’s a term he leaves reserved for the Beyoncés of the world.
This is one of only a few major interviews done by mainstream media on DJs. The other notable one, of course, was Skrillex’s interview with Katie Couric.
Watch below as Tijs gets real about what it’s like being Tiësto!

Young Thug Doubles Down On XXXTentacion Collaboration Hopes
Earlier this month, Young Thug went on Instagram Live and declared his interest in collaborating with XXXTentacion, noting that he was one the only young rappers that he had his eye on. Although X has not formally responded to Thugger's request to work together, the "Anybody" rapper is doubling down on his previous statement, previewing a track that he wants the young Floridian to hop on. Dropping f his Hear No Evil EP from out nowhere last week, Young Thug looks to be back in the game after a short hiatus to honor his deaf brother. Keeping his sights set on an XXXTentacion collaboration, hopefully, the two can link up and mesh creatively for us all to enjoy.
Decked out in pearls and ice, Thug played an unreleased track on his Instagram page, tagging X directly and asking the artist to "sample this." The clip does not last entirely long as we only get to hear a few Jeffery's bars where he mostly sings in a high-pitched tone. Alongside the track he is trying to get X on, Thug also shared a preview another song that sounds larger than life, with many fans taking to his comment section to beg for an imminent drop.
As Thugger (and the rest us) wait for a response from X, we will keep an eye on both sides for any possible updates. For now, check out the videos both snippets below and let us know how they're sounding.
