When ESPN revealed that they would be doing a show with Bomani Jones and Pablo Torre called "High Noon," sports fans were pretty excited. Well, at least those who enjoy thoughtful and nuanced conversations. Regardless of how you feel about their opinions, Jones and Torre are considered to be two of the smartest men in sports media and the prospect of them coming together was exciting. Unfortunately, ESPN felt as though not enough people were watching. After a 3% rating decline in Q1 of this year, ESPN announced yesterday that "High Noon" would run all the way through March and would be canceled immediately after.
The news led to a swift reaction on social media as many tried to make sense of it all. There were quite a few people who were happy about the cancelation as they claimed that Bomani and Torre simply weren't interesting enough to watch for 30 minutes. Others were devastated by the cancelation and said that their fate was the result of a culture that promotes hot takes and uninformed opinions over nuanced debates. Not to mention, "High Noon" was given a timeslot that is practically impossible to succeed in.

Alex Caruso Has NBA Fans Upset After Latest Round Of All-Star Voting
How could you hate Caruso?
Alex Caruso has developed mythical lore around him. The unsuspecting Lakers guard has been known to throw down some scintillating dunks every now and then and fans absolutely love it. Caruso might not have a great statline but he continues to be lauded as one of the biggest enigmas in the game. LeBron calls him the GOAT and Lakers fans give him MVP chants every time he steps out onto the court. He has become a huge meme on Twitter and heading into the All-Star break, fans are trying to reward him.
Today, another round of NBA All-Star fan voting results were revealed. As it turns out, Alex Caruso is fourth in Western Conference Guard voting. He is ahead of players like Russell Westbrook, Steph Curry, Donovan Mitchell, Ja Morant, and Devin Booker.
While many fans have been voting for Caruso, it appears as though there is a large number of people who hate the fact he's getting coverage. Caruso is averaging less than six points a game and fans on Twitter think it's ridiculous that he could end up with a legitimate shot at making it into the All-Sar game.

Lloyd Banks Says He Thinks He’s Going To "Relapse" & Fans Hope He’s Talking Music
Lloyd Banks fans are seriously hoping this tweet is about new music.
2019 was an off-year for former G-Unit star Lloyd Banks. The punchline king felt underappreciated the year prior, announcing his retirement from rap before backtracking and claiming that he was just joking. Then, he was placed dead last on one of those viral "Top 50 Rappers of All Time" lists which angered the lyricist even further. Things culminated in September when he sadly admitted that he doesn't think anybody is checking for him anymore, which couldn't be further from the truth. We published an article detailing why the game still needs Lloyd Banks and a bunch of y'all agreed, hoping for some new vibes sometime soon. Today, Banks got back on his cryptic tip, tweeting to the world that he feels as though he's about to relapse, and fans are seriously praying that he's referring to a musical breakthrough.
We're keeping Lloyd Banks in our thoughts today as he just let the world know during a vulnerable moment that he thinks he's nearing a relapse. Instead of wishing him well in his replies though, the majority of his fans are interpreting this as a sign that new music could be near. "For Rap?! YOU BETTER RELAPSE," wrote one fan. "As long as you talking about bars Banks," said another.
We're in the same boat as many of the people replying to the thread. If this is about music, we're getting hyped at this quasi-announcement. However, if it pertains to drugs or alcohol, we're sending all the strength in the world to Lloyd Banks so he can power through and continue on his path towards a great life.
Luke Kuechly Shockingly Announces His Retirement, Fans React
Kuechly is only 28 years old.
Football players aren't expected to have long careers because of the toll the sport takes on their bodies. Constant hits to the head can lead to degenerative diseases and in some cases, CTE. Players are retiring younger now as they want to make sure they can live good lives well after they are done with the sport. The latest football player to leave the game at a young age is none other than Carolina Panthers linebacker Luke Kuechly. Kuechly took to social media last night where he announced his retirement from the sport, at the age of 28.
Kuechly spoke about some of the injuries he's faced and how now is the right time to leave the game. Kuechly was considered one of the best linebackers this decade and was the backbone of the Panthers defense. Without him on the squad, the Panthers will certainly be hurting in terms of raw power.
Fans were fairly shocked and devastated by the news as they took to social media to show respect for the player they have idolized over the last few years. Some are disappointed that he would choose to retire now while others completely respect his decision and felt like it showed a ton of maturity.

LSU Tops Clemson To Win The CFB National Title, Fans React
LSU quarterback Joe Burrow was a beast.
Last night was huge for college football fans as the LSU Tigers took on the Clemson Tigers in the National Championship game. Both teams came into this matchup with undefeated records and fans were curious to see which quarterback would end up on top. Of course, the two QB's were Joe Burrow for LSU and Trevor Lawrence for Clemson. In the end, Burrow and LSU came out on top with an impressive 42-25 win. Burrow threw for five touchdowns and ran for one as his team hoisted the championship trophy.
This season was one to remember for Burrow as he broke multiple touchdown records while also winning the Heisman. This Spring, Burrow will be drafted into the NFL and many people think he will go to the Cincinnati Bengals with the first overall pick.
Fans were quick to react to the win on social media, as many LSU fans were happy about the huge win. LSU has been in Alabama's shadow for a while now although this year they were able to get the weight off their backs and come through with a season to remember. Coach O was a phenomenal source of inspiration to the team and with Joe Burrow at quarterback, they were pretty well unstoppable.
