Hilary Duff has made it clear that she is appalled by the accusations that she is engaging in child sex trafficking with her own son. Over the weekend, a wild conspiracy theory spread after Hilary accidentally posted a photo of her 8-year-old son, Luca, fully nude. The actress promptly deleted the post once she was made aware, and later censored the same photo while showing her followers some family photos.

"Someone pointed out on Instagram that I did a nude of him, which I did, so we covered that up with a sticker," she explained in the video. However, some Twitter users spun the situation into "proof" that Hilary was participating in child sex trafficking, and that by sharing the nude photo in the first place, she was sending out some kind of signal to predators. It's important to note that there is absolutely no evidence of these claims.
It didn't take long for Hilary's name to start trending due to this conspiracy theory, and finally, she had to address the allegations. "Everyone bored af right now I know," she tweeted, "but this is actually disgusting."
"Whoever dreamed this one up and put this garbage into the universe should take a break from their damn phone," she continued. "Maybe get a hobby." Her current husband, Matthew Koma, supported her statement, retweeting it and writing, "This."
Hilary and Matthew have a 1-year-old daughter, Banks Violet Bair, together, and she shares Luca with her ex-husband, Mike Comrie, a former Canadian hockey player.
Hilary Duff Hints At Issues On Disney+ "Lizzie McGuire" Reboot
Hilary Duff isn't too thrilled about the production halt of the "Lizzie McGure" reboot Disney+ after the company fired the series' original creator Terri Minsky.
Millenials who tuned into The Disney Channel's hit series Lizzie McGuire back in the day were thrilled to hear that Hilary Duff and co. would be returning for a reboot on the Disney+ streaming service. However, after news that the show's original creator Terri Minsky was fired for creative reasons, Duff made it pretty clear that she wasn't happy in the least bit with the show's sudden halt in production.

Minsky was fired back in January after filming just two episodes in the reboot. The decision was reportedly centered around the debate of Minsky's more "adult version" of Lizzie at 30 years old versus Disney's desired "family-friendly" version that would align with the original show's core audience. Speaking with Variety, Terri said the following: "Hilary has a grasp of Lizzie McGuire at 30 that needs to be seen. It’s a wonderful thing to watch. I would love the show to exist, but ideally I would love it if it could be given that treatment of going to Hulu and doing the show that we were doing. That’s the part where I am completely in the dark. It’s important to me that this show was important to people. I felt like I wanted to do a show that was worthy of that kind of devotion."
Duff hasn't made an official comment yet, but she did hop on social media a few days ago with a post in her IG Stories that showed us who she was aligning with without saying too much. "Sounds familiar," Hilary wrote on top of a screengrab to news that Disney+ canned the planned Love, Simon series after it was deemed not family-friendly enough. That show will now be moving to Hulu under the new title Love, Victor, where showrunners will be free to talk about the topics rumored to be Disney's reason for a distaste with the series, including alcohol use and sexual exploration.
A new showrunner for the Lizzie McGuire reboot hasn't been named yet, but Disney has confirmed a spokesperson that the show hasn't been canceled, saying "Our goal is to resume production and to tell an authentic story that connects to the millions who are emotionally invested in the character, and a new generation of viewers too."

Hilary Duff Calls Out Paparazzi For Taking Photos Of Children
Hilary Duff confronted a paparazzo who was photographing her 7-year-old son Luca and other children on the field at a football game.
Hilary Duff was not having it after she noticed a paparazzo taking photos of the children at her 7-year-old son Luca's football game on Saturday. Paparazzi are notorious for invading personal space and pushing boundaries, and many celebrities have snapped at them for getting too close or not leaving people alone. However, Hilary emphasized in the video she posted on Instagram of herself confronting this particular "creep" that taking pictures of kids totally crosses the line. In the clip, the actress walks up to the paparazzo and asks him if he knows any of the kids on the field. When he says that he does not, a back-and-forth ensues between them.
View this post on InstagramWhen Hilary asks the man to stop taking photos of the kids, he points out that it's "legal." She indicates that, regardless, he is making her uncomfortable, and he asks her if she'd like to see his ID. “I'm not asking for your ID,” she responds. “I'm asking you to stop taking pictures of our 7-year-old children if you don't know anyone that's here." He reiterates the legality of his actions, to which she says, "I'm asking you human-to-human—as a mother—if you don't know anyone here, can you please stop taking pictures of our children playing football this morning?” The paparazzo tries to justify himself by claiming that he's merely "practicing photography," before telling Hilary that her "paranoia is unwarranted." Hilary tells him that she plans to post the video to her "15 million followers on Instagram and let people know how creepy it is that this is what you're choosing to do on your Saturday morning." She then pans over to all the concerned parents sitting on the sidelines to show viewers everyone else who is creeped out by this man, before he puts his hand over her phone and the video ends.

“Paparazzi shooting KIDS,” she wrote in the caption of the post. “Go ‘practice’ your photography on ADULTS! Creep! Laws need to change! This is stalking minors! Disgusting!” Hilary received plenty of support from fellow celebrities, including Shameless star Emmy Rossum, who commented, "Children should be protected under the law." Celebrity blogger, Perez Hilton, also commented, pointing out that he does not "run any paparazzi photos of celeb children on [his] site" and that "every media outlet should agree to do the same." Hilary has spoken out about paparazzi invading her and her children's space (she also has a 1-year-old daughter, Banks, with husband Matthew Koma) in the past. In December, she told a story about trying to run errands with her kids while photographers refused to stop following them around.
