Chuck D and Flavor Flav had a heated battle online several weeks ago, resulting in the eventual firing of Flav from Public Enemy. During a recent podcast appearance, Chuck D revealed that their feud was all just a hoax for April Fool's Day, noting that the two are still on good terms and it would be impossible to give Flav the boot because he's technically a partner. As it turns out, Chuck D may have been capping because Flavor Flav took to Twitter and he's still going along with the previous narrative that he was fired.
"I am not a part of your hoax," wrote Flavor Flav on Twitter, tagging Chuck D in the post. "There are more serious things in the world right now than April Fool's jokes and dropping records,,,the world needs better than this,,,you say we are leaders so act like one."
The iconic hypeman ended with a link-out to the MusiCares Coronavirus Relief Fund, urging his former friend to take the world into consideration.
With Flavor Flav's statement, we're not sure what to believe. He says that he's not in on the joke, so the fans have been thrown for a loop once again.
Hopefully, these brothers can get their differences sorted out.

Chuck D Reveals Public Enemy Breakup With Flavor Flav Was Staged
Chuck D and Flavor Flav recently went at it online, but the entire thing was a ploy concocted by the Public Enemy stars.
Public Enemy has been making headlines for less than favorable news as of late. The iconic rap group was reportedly at odds over a performance that was to be held at a Bernie Sanders rally. After it was announced that Public Enemy would be taking to the stage, Flavor Flav came forward to denounce the show. A war of words between members Chuck D and Flav ensued, and news was shared that Flav was no longer in the group.

The exchange between the longtime friends and collaborators came off as bizarre to fans who couldn’t believe that they were breaking down, but Chuck D told People’s Party with Talib Kweli that it was all staged to prove a point. “The murder of Pop Smoke, man, to see that, it was like the flashback to Nipsey Hussle last year,” Chuck D said. “It got to be like, do rappers need to be killed to get noticed in hip hop? And this whole thing of bad news is the news and making people like—my daughter Dominique, who runs my company, she’s often like, ‘Dad, that’s not a good look.’ And I’m like when the f*ck does the good look get acknowledged because the bad look got an elevator and a rocket to it.”
So, because Flavor Flav has been taking a few hits in the media lately and his “stock was low”, they concocted a storyline that would grab the attention of the masses. “Flav doesn’t know the difference between Bernie Sanders, Barry Sanders, or Colonel Sanders. He don’t give a f*ck,” Chuck D joked. He explained how they came up with the plan behind the scenes. “I’m not saying it’s a hoax. I’m saying the original intention was to get your attention and not play attention, get you to pay attention.”
Flav can’t be fired, anyway, because Chuck says “he’s a partner.” Listen to Chuck D speak about the importance of Flav in Public Enemy and explain his plot below.
Trump Calls Coronavirus "Hysteria" The Democrats’ "New Hoax"
President Trump is continuing to downplay the severity of the coronavirus, calling current hysteria a “hoax.”
President Donald Trump spoke about the coronavirus, yesterday in South Carolina, and downplayed its seriousness, calling it Democrats’ “new hoax.”

“The Democrats are politicizing the coronavirus. They’re politicizing it,” he said, according to NBC News. “They don’t have any clue. They can’t even count their votes in Iowa. No, they can’t. They can’t count their votes. One of my people came up to me and said, ‘Mr. President, they tried to beat you on Russia, Russia, Russia.’ That did not work out too well. They could not do it. They tried the impeachment hoax.”
Trump then called coronavirus fears their “new hoax.”
He went on to relate the virus to the border: “You see it. You see it with the coronavirus. You see that. When you have this virus or any other virus or any other problem coming in, it’s not the only thing that comes in through the border and we are setting records now at the border.”
“So far we have lost nobody to coronavirus,” Trump said. “Democrats will always say horrible things. Democrats want us to fail so badly.”
His comments come in response to Dems’ claims that his administration has not done enough to prepare for the epidemic.
According to Worldometers.info, there have been 85,729 cases of the coronavirus worldwide and 2,933 total deaths. In the US, there are 59 active cases and no deaths so far.
Tory Lanez, Future & Blac Chyna Get In On Hoax Broomstick Challenge
The #BroomstickChallenge started trending after false claims that NASA said Monday was the only day a broom can stand on its own.
If you've been on social media in the past day, you've probably seen this thing called the Broomstick Challenge trending. Someone on Twitter claimed, "according to NASA," that Monday was the only day a broomstick can stand on its own. Then Tory Lanez jumped into it before it really spread like wildfire. The rapper took to Instagram where he shared his experience with the #BroomstickChallenge. "Sup, man? This is science with Black folk," he said. "Today, NASA said that the polarity in the earth can keep a broom standing by itself," he continued before making the broom stand up. "This is real. Suck my dick," he concluded as he walked away.
Shortly after Tory shared his video, other celebrities followed suit including Future and Blac Chyna. Future shared a photo of himself seated while smoking a blunt next to the standing broom while Blac Chyna did her own rendition of Ciara's choreography from "Promise" with a broom instead of a microphone stand.
Unfortunately, this all turned out to be a hoax, according to several astronomers and Al Roker who hit debunked the theory of the TODAY show this morning. Roker explained that you can pretty much do it any day of the week because of the short bristles on a broom that act as a tripod. Whodathunkit?

Chicago Judge Orders Google To Turnover Jussie Smollett Data in Court Case
The judge in Jussie Smollett’s hoax case is turning up the heat and gathering evidence from Google in their latest development.
The Cook County judge handling Jussie Smollett‘s hoax attack case has ordered a sweeping search warrant directed at Google in order to obtain one-year’s worth of data documentation from Jussie Smollett and his manager, according to the Chicago Tribune. The judge is demanding that Google hand over Smollett’s emails, photos, location data and private messages as part of an on-going investigation involving accusations that the Empire star staged a hate crime attack that allegedly resulted in a physical and verbal assault and a noose being tied around Smollett’s neck in his hometown of Chicago.
Smollett was indicted on sixteen felony counts for allegedly staging a racial and homophobic attack carried out by brothers, Abel and Ola Osundairo, who later expressed their regret in their involvement in the hoax act of violence. With the Osundairo brothers now cooperating with the prosecution and Smollett urging the court to drop the case against him, the Chicago judge has decided to move forward with court proceedings against the actor.

The Cook County judge is also requiring that Google provide the court with Smollett’s email drafts, deleted messages, Google Drive files, Google Voice texts, and web browsing history as further evidence for their prosecution. With the Chicago judicial system pressing further in Smollett’s hoax attack case and Lee Daniels announcing that Smollett will not be returning for the season finale of Empire, Smollett could eventually end up serving time for filing a false report and heedlessly utilizing police resources for a fraudulent crime. Stick with HNHH as details unfold in Jussie Smollett’s upcoming criminal proceedings.
