Laura Ingraham has gotten herself in trouble numerous times while hosting her show on Fox. Of course, many remember a few years ago when she told basketball players like LeBron James to "shut up and dribble." There was definitely something racially tinged about these comments and people still haven't allowed her to forget them. Essentially, it was quite clear that she didn't like black athletes standing up for causes they believed in.
Recently, Ingraham weighed in on Drew Brees' comments about the National Anthem and the military. As you can imagine, since Brees shared her conservative position, she praised Brees for speaking up and having an opinion. Had Brees been black and on the opposite end of the political spectrum, we're sure she would have changed her tune, as illustrated by the video below.
Clearly, Ingraham has a very hypocritical stance when it comes to athletes speaking up and entering the political arena. When LeBron James does it, he receives criticism but when it's Drew Brees, it's met with praise. It doesn't take a rocket scientist or even a brain surgeon to figure out what is truly going on here.
At this point, her take isn't all that surprising even if it is disappointing.
Ayesha Curry Labeled A Hypocrite After Posting Sexy Bikini Shots
After Ayesha Curry posted some photos of herself posing in a bikini, she was called out for her hypocrisy due to some past remarks about showing skin.
The Internet never forgets, Ayesha Curry learned this weekend. After posting a few photos of herself showing off her toned figure while posing in a bikini, Ayesha was dragged through the mud for doing exactly what she had publicly denounced women for doing a few years back. In the shots, which she captioned, "Took me long enough," Ayesha showed off her post-baby body that she's been working hard at ever since giving birth to her and husband Steph Curry's third child, Canon, back in 2018.
While she received a flood of positive comments as many of her followers drooled over her hot bod, others pointed out how she used to judge other women for wearing revealing clothing and showing some skin.
"Everyone's into barely wearing clothes these days huh?" Ayesha wrote in a tweet dated back to 2015. "Not my style. I like to keep the good stuff covered up for the one who matters." Some folks took to Twitter to criticize her for being a hypocrite.
In addition to these photos taken by her hubby, Ayesha also posted a photo of the two of them on her IG story, captioned, "Mom n dad."
Jason Whitlock Called Out For Kobe Bryant Tribute Despite Well-Known Disdain For Him
Twitter was not having it.
Jason Whitlock has been getting ruthlessly dragged on Twitter for speaking positively about Kobe Bryant following his tragic passing, despite having spent so much time speaking ill on Kobe while he was alive. Whitlock and Speak For Yourself co-host Marcellus Wiley were joined by TJ Houshmandzadeh and Jim Jackson on the show on Monday to reflect on Kobe's legacy, and Whitlock had nothing but kind words for the late NBA star.
However, many pointed out Whitlock's hypocrisy due to how openly he expressed his disdain for Kobe before his death.
One occasion in particular that had folks giving Whitlock the side-eye for switching up on his opinion about Kobe once he'd passed was when Whitlock published an open letter to Kobe on ESPN titled "Kobe, keep your mouth shut." In the article, Whitlock used derogatory language to speak not only about Kobe himself, but about his wife, Vanessa, as well.
Kobe fans were not pleased to see someone who wrote such a disrespectful piece about Kobe then try to backtrack as if his vendetta against him never existed.
Whitlock has had some very unpopular takes in the past, such as his claims about Lebron James not dealing with "real racism" and his show portraying Colin Kaepernick as white. His many controversial stances meant that many Twitter users relished in the sight of him get called out on the TL.
