DJ Khaled Pursues Eminem Collaboration In What Would Be His Biggest Song Ever
DJ Khaled is one the biggest names in music as he has consistently shown an ability to round up plenty talented artists for dream collaborations on his albums. Khaled's connections know no bounds as he routinely bags Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Rihanna, Justin Bieber and others on his tracks. Having announced his upcoming Father Asahd album, which is set to feature the Jay, Bey and Future collaboration "Top Off," the collection music could very well include other huge names. In fact, if Khaled gets his way, we may even be seeing the Rap God himself, Eminem, appear on the album.
In an interview with Billboard, Khaled discussed everything from his favorite Jay-Z/Beyoncé collab, his social impact and his gig at the iHeartRadio Music Awards. After speaking on camera with Em at the aforementioned award show, the producer and DJ revealed that he did not have much time to discuss his dreams collaborating with him. "I finally met him the other day at the iHeart Music Awards, but I didn't really get a chance to talk to him, talk to him," disclosed Khaled. The Snapchat savant noted that he is trying to pull f a collab with Marshall Mathers, saying, "I'm friends with his manager and I'm going to reach out to him and I'm going to send him something. Hopefully, he'll like to get on it. I just want to make sure when I send it, it's the one."

It's hard to argue that any other new artist had a bigger impact than Cardi B last year. With her two monster singles "Bodak Yellow" and "Bartier Cardi," the anticipation for her debut album is at an all-time high. To the surprise basically nobody, Cardi B came through last night at the iHeartRadio Music Awards, bringing home the prize for Best New Artist. Her speech was eventful to say the least, announcing her upcoming album's release month, thanking her haters for still buying her music just to trash it, and, course, shouting out Offset.
One the highlights the night, Cardi showed f her vivacious personality, cackling enough for the entire city to hear her and hitting the audience with plenty "OKRRRR's." Here are some the most meme-worthy moments her speech.

The iHeartRadio Music Awards this weekend was full great performances and alike.
One the highlights the event was when Chance the Rapper received the Innovator the Year award. The honor was presented to him by Pharrell and Chance gave a great speech that honored artists who came before him.

While the awards season found its pinnacle in last week’s airing the Academy Awards, the season music awards ceremonies that aren’t the Grammys is getting ready to kick into high gear, and we’re met with its first sign life in the form the iHeartRadio Music Awards.

Cardi B Opens Up iHeartRadio Music Awards With Medley
This year’s iteration the iHeartRadio Music Awards got f to an explosive start as Cardi B opened up the annual ceremony with a set that included performances her “Bartier Cardi” single, her verses on “MotorSport,” “No Limit” with an appearance from G-Eazy, “Finesse,” sans Bruno Mars, and closing things out with her “Bodak Yellow” breakout.
Outfitted with full-on pyrotechnics and plenty backup dancers, the performance was an exciting and full-circle moment for Cardi and fans watching at home—a feeling that took a life its own when the crowd proved that they could perform “Bodak Yellow” without any assistance, rapping along in a massive way with the Bronx native.
It’s safe to say that Cardi B set the bar high as far as energy goes with her debut and it’s an energy that will likely find a formidable match in host DJ Khaled. Other performances will arrive from the likes Camila Cabello, Ed Sheeran and Maroon 5 in between the awarding trophies.

Cardi B Confirms Debut Album Will Arrive in April
At long last we have finally received a semblance very promising information in regard to the arrival Cardi B’s highly-anticipated debut album. It was while accepting the award for Best New Artist at the 2018 iHeartRadio Music Awards that the “Bartier Cardi” emcee revealed that her debut would be arriving in April.
In the speech, Cardi also took the opportunity to thank those close to her, including her finace Offset, for helping her in her elevation thus far and thanking her haters by literally laughing at them through the mic. It’s certainly been a great run for Cardi B and we’re hoping that the arrival her studio debut only further aides in pushing her toward the cementing her legitimacy past the “flash in the pan” status.
Previously, Cardi revealed that her debut would be arriving in January this year, but it’s safe to assume that her quest for something close to perfection has contributed to the delay as she previously expressed her apprehension with releasing her album on the heels the viral success enjoyed by her “Bodak Yellow” single.
"I have a lot pressure on me," Cardi tweeted back in November. "I have songs stashed up. I just don't think they qualified for my album. Sometimes I think is ready sometimes I think it's not so I'm going to take my time till it's right."

N.E.R.D. Closes Out iHeartRadio Music Awards With Performance of "Lemon"
This Sunday marked the airing the 2018 iHeartRadio Music Awards as the biggest across multiple genres music were celebrated for their contributions to the industry within the past year.
Notably, it was a momentous night for Cardi B, who walked away with two her five nominations, earning a trophy for Best New Artist and for Best New Hip-Hop Artist following an electrifying opening performance her smashes, including “Bartier Cardi” and the now-quintessential “Bodak Yellow.” She’d also take the opportunity to let us know just when her album was finally going to drop.
Audiences were further met with performances from the likes Camila Cabello alongside Young Thug for the duo’s “Havana,” and a performance from Icon Award recipient Bon Jovi among others. Things would come to an end with Sean “Diddy” Combs and son Christian “King” Combs appearing onstage to present DJ Khaled with the show’s top prize for “Song The Year,” awarded to his Rihanna and Bryson Tiller collab “Wild Thoughts” before ficially closing out with a performance “Lemon” by N*E*R*D.
Just as expected, the performance was a visually stunning presentation that found the group surrounded by dancers outfitted in two-piece outfits and plenty glitter, all headed up by showstopper Mette Towley, whose dance routine has been stealing the spotlight anywhere N*E*R*D* is concerned as late.

Watch Chance The Rapper Receive Innovator Award at iHeartRadio Music Awards
Sunday evening at the iHeartRadio Music Awards, Chance The Rapper was one the honorees to be presented with a pre-selected award for his work both in and outside the music industry when the 24-year old was presented with the Innovator Award—a honor dedicated to those who use their platform and financial resources to support philanthropic causes.
It was Pharrell Williams, a former recipient the award himself, who fittingly served as the presenter that handed f the trophy to Chance, who was being recognized for his “groundbreaking accomplishments in the music industry and his unsurpassable contributions to social causes.”
The iHeartRadio Music Award committee also credited Chance with using “his voice to fight for youth empowerment through the arts, education and civic engagement” with his non-prit organization, SocialWorks, which received a $1 million donation from Google last year to go toward the nurturing talent and creativity for kids in Chicago. Chance also made noise last year when he donated $1 million to Chicago public schools to fund art arts and enrichment programs in the city.
“I asked my man Pat Corcoran] why they would be honoring me, and we had a conversation about musical identity, musical liberation, independence and freedom, and that’s something that we’ve stood on for a long time,” Chance noted during his acceptance speech. “That’s something that we didn’t create though; we didn’t innovate that idea. Musicians were free when this whole thing started.”
The Chicago native would go on to cite and credit several musical influences and peers whose own strides in the industry have paved the way for independence in the musical landscape, including James Brown, Prince, Ray Charles, Beyoncé, and Nicki Minaj among others.
“I didn’t invent independence in any way,” Chance noted. “I didn’t innovate this idea. I’m following behind a lot other people, and it takes a lot more us coming together as artists to regain our control and power as we should have it.”
Eminem, G-Eazy, Kehlani & N.E.R.D Set To Perform At iHeartRadio Music Awards
The iHeartRadio Music Awards are just around the corner and another string artists have been announced to take the stage to give a live performance. Previously we shared that Ed Sheeran, Cardi B, Maroon 5, Camila Cabello and Charlie Puth will be on the lineup, but today the award show announced that Eminem, G-Eazy, Kehlani, and N.E.R.D will also be joining in on the fun.
Presenters listed for the occasion are Diddy, Bebe Rexha, Laverne Cox, Method Man, Halsey and more. Chance The Rapper is also set to receive the 2018 iHeartRadio Innovator Award that recognizes "groundbreaking accomplishments in the music industry and his unsurpassable contributions to social causes."
Chance has been very generous with his contributions to his Chicago community and donating funds to youth education. In addition, Camila Cabello will be honoured with the first-ever iHeartRadio Fangirls Award. The title recognizes “a female artist who has pushed boundaries with her music and message while inspiring her fans around the globe.”
Having left her girl group Fifth Harmony to pursue her own career, Camila has succeeded majorly with her self-titled debut album. Recently she became the first female to top three Billboard Charts since 1996.
