Diplo Teases New Music From Major Lazer with One Of The World's Top Artists
2018 was all concerning the collabs and we will anticipate that pattern to proceed into subsequent 12 months.
“We received one thing very massive deliberate for 2019,” Diplo captions the picture beneath. All indicators level to a J Balvin and Major Lazer collaboration due out subsequent 12 months.
J Balvin isn't any stranger to EDM. Alesso remixed the singer’s huge monitor “Mi Gente” through the peak of its reputation. David Guetta enlisted him, together with Bebe Rexha, for a triple-threat collab of his personal, “Say My Name.” He has even labored with Skrillex, if we’re dropping names.
On high of all of it, J Balvin was just lately introduced as Deezer’s most-streamed artist globally for 2018. Anything along with his title on it turns to gold.
Whatever these guys are cooking up — it should positively pack the flavour! Keep an ear out!
Metro Boomin Grabs Travis Scott, Young Thug, Gunna, & More For "Not All Heroes Wear Capes"
Metro Boomin left the manufacturing recreation shook together with his obvious retirement. The St. Louis producer is simply too proficient to fade to black at such a younger age although, and he has dropped off a scorching new album to reintroduce himself to the world. Metro Boomin is each the hero we requested for, and the hero all of us deserve. Not All Heroes Wear Capes has arrived with 13 tracks, and featrues appearances from Drake, Gunna, Travis Scott, 21 Savage, Gucci Mane, Offset, Kodak Black, and extra.
Not All Heroes Wear Capes arrives as a shock, with Metro saying the venture solely a day earlier than it was set to drop. Mysterious Billboards popped up in New York and Atlanta with the caption “HAVE YOU SEEN THIS MAN? every week in the past,” hinting on the launch with the title in plain sight. Still, the sensible ads gave little warning of the warmth that we have been about to obtain. The gifted producer graced followers with a tracklist, sans options, hours earlier than the venture was obtainable to stream as effectively. The fastidiously intelligent rollout solely lasted a couple of days, however Not All Heroes Wear Capes is a venture that can be in rotation for months to return. Nicki Minaj, Lil Uzi Vert, G-Eazy & More Appear On David Guetta's "7"
David Guetta’s relationship with hip-hop goes back roughly a decade when he released his project, One Love. The 2009 album spawned the single, “Memories” featuring Kid Cudi. Since then, he’s gone on to work with some of the biggest hip-hop acts in the game including Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, Snoop Dogg, Chris Brown, and many others. Although his 2014 project, Listen didn’t feature nearly as many rappers as 2011’s Nothing But The Beat, it looks like he brought some of the hottest rappers in the game for his latest project, 7.
David Guetta is back with his first album in four years with, 7. The double-disc album hails features from some of the biggest rappers out right now such as Nicki Minaj, Lil Uzi Very and G-Eazy. Saweetie, who recently worked with G-Eazy on “Up Now,” is also featured on the project. Guetta also taps Jason Derulo, Bebe Rexha, Stefflon Don, J Balvin and more.

Ozuna Enlists Cardi B, Nicky Jam, J. Balvin, Akon, & More For "Aura"
Last year, Ozuna released his debut album Odisea. The reggaeton album fused hip-hop and Latin music immaculately, and helped propel Ozuna’s career to worldwide stardom. The timing was right as well. Latin music has slowly been making a comeback in hip-hop. A decade ago, reggaeton ascended the commercial scene, but the predictable drum patterns and cookie cutter singles that began to flood the radio led to a rapid decline in its popularity. In the last two years, artists like Ozuna, J. Balvin, and veteran Nicky Jam have heledp bring reggaeton back to the forefront of the conversation.
Ozuna’s second album, entitled Aura, has touched down, and it will certainly add fuel to the reggaeton flame. We would be shocked if half the album doesn’t live on Billboard for the next few weeks. Aura features appearances by Cardi B, Nicky Jam, J Balvin, Akon, Wisin & Yandel, Natti Natasha, and more.

David Guetta Announces STACKED New Album With Insane List of Features
Love him or hate him, there’s no arguing that David Guetta is one of the biggest reasons that dance music became so fatefully intertwined with pop. Collaborations with Black Eyed Peas, Akon, Ne-Yo, Nicki Minaj, Ludacris & Taio Cruz, Sia, Usher, and more solidified his status as the go-to producer for crossover hits in the early 2010s.
His last album, 2014’s Listen, didn’t do as well commercially as the two albums before it, but Guetta is looking to buck that trend with his new album 7 and a supporting cast of featured artists that will knock your socks off.
Included on 7 are: Anne-Marie, Bebe Rexha, Black Coffee, Brooks, Delilah Montagu, Faouzia, G-Eazy, J.Balvin, Jason Derulo, Jess Glynne, Justin Bieber, Lil Uzi Vert, Madison Beer, Martin Garrix, Nicki Minaj, Saweetie, Sia, Stefflon Don, Steve Aoki and Willy William.
Can you say “wow”?

There's A Brand New #1 Artist On Spotify
J Balvin has shot straight to the top — as he’s now the number one artist on Spotify in the entire world, taking the top spot from Drake. At this very moment, his account boasts 48,199,671 monthly listeners and 8,404,530 followers on the popular music streaming app.
The Colombian reggaeton singer is a hit-making machine, with tracks like “I Like It,” “X,” “Familiar,” and “Mi Gente” it’s no wonder he finds himself dominating the Spotify chart. He’s one of the biggest, if not the biggest Latin pop artists to crossover into the mainstream.
Not only do his original tracks rack up hundreds of millions of plays on the regular, but his songs are perfectly woven into EDM sets and remixed by some top tier acts like Tiësto and Dillon Francis. For J Balvin, his widespread type of global music is bigger than himself.
“All I can say is thank you, thank you,” J Balvin said in a statement.
“I’m so grateful and proud to be the most heard artist in the world on Spotify. It’s bigger than J Balvin, it’s the movement and it’s in Spanish. We are proving that Latinos have the power to connect with an audience on a global level without having to leave our identity behind. This is an achievement for the entire Latino community. I’m so grateful to Spotify for the enormous support to the reggaeton movement.”

Dillon Francis Puts A Latin Moombah Spin On One Of Cardi B's Biggest Hits
No one can say that Dillon Francis isn’t keeping super busy. Apart from producing his new Spanish-language album and occasional singles, as well as re-releasing “One Deeper Talks” and producing a song for the new Panic! At The Disco album, he’s also remixing the Latin phenom Cardi B.
As Dillon has already been in a very Latin mode of production, getting into the groove for Cardi’s song must have taken no effort at all. Sampling “I Like It Like That” from Latin legend Pete Rodriguez, Cardi’s song is already ripe for remixing and Dillon takes it all head on.
Remixing the Spanish vocals from Bad Bunny and J Balvin comes naturally to Dillon at this point, and the clear retention of Latin flavor in the remix, perhaps even more so than the original, makes his contribution to Latin music more obvious than ever.

Top 10 Biggest Artists On Spotify Revealed
There’s no denying — the music industry is driven by streaming numbers and Spotify leads the pack. The platform is an excellent indicator of popular artists, songs, and overall trends. Here’s a look at the top 10 most popular artists on Spotify, and their current most popular tracks.
Drake is king when it comes to music streaming and currently reigns with over 50 million monthly streamers. His 2017 album More Life is still making waves, but this iconic rapper keeps ’em coming. He just hit us with a brand new track “Nice For What,” on pace to be one of his most popular of all time. Currently, no one comes close to touching Drake’s monthly streaming numbers.
Next up, J Balvin takes the number 2 spot. The Colombian reggaeton singer has become a global sensation, best known for flavorful tracks like “Mi Gentle,” “Downtown,” and “X.” He’s collaborated with the likes of Daddy Yankee and Pharell Williams, Pitbull, and Camila Cabello just to name drop a few. He’s not going anywhere.
Songstress Dua Lipa finds herself as the number 3 most-globally-streamed artist and the only woman in the top 10. She often times blurs the lines between pop and dance music, particularly through her collab with Martin Garrix and Alison Wonderland’s trap remix of “New Rules.” Her recent collaboration with Diplo, “One Kiss,” is another fine example of this.
Post Malone takes his much-deserved number 4 spot. The hip hop artist recently broke first-day and week streaming records with his new album beerbongs & bentleys. Leading singles “rockstar” and “Psycho” set him up to go platinum upon the album’s release — no easy feat in today’s streaming world. He’s one of our absolute favorites to listen to and to hear remixed.
Finally, we have some producers on the list. Calvin Harris and Marshmello come in at number 4 and 5 respectively, proving EDM has made its way into the mainstream. These guys consistently put out music that bridges the gap between electronic and top 40. Calvin’s recent Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1 featured everyone from Future to Nicki Minaj, Katy Perry to Ariana Grande, and so many more. Meanwhile, Mello has featured Selena Gomez, Anne-Marie, Khalid, and Lil Peep on his beats. Expect more to come.
Ed Sheeran just barely beats out David Guetta for the number 6 spot. The pop star’s album Divide completely took over the charts and streaming numbers haven’t been too shabby either. With Guetta is right at his heels, it seems the DJ/producer’s steady flow of singles has been enough to keep him relevant.
These guys are followed by The Weeknd and Kendrick Lamar to round out the Top 10 Most Streamed Artists On Spotify. The Weeknd’s My Dear Melancholy, which recently dropped overnight, has surely added to his hype. Kendrick Lamar’s album DAMN. and work with the Black Panther soundtrack have kept him on Spotify’s top 10 radar.
It’s awesome to see singer/songwriters, hip hop acts and DJ/producers all sharing a little pieces of the global streaming pie. Scratch that — really big pieces of the streaming pie. Listen to all these amazing artists right here and let us know who you listen to the most!

Cardi B's "Invasion Of Privacy" Goes Gold On First Day
Cardi B has barely had time to rest her eyes after night cha cha in the big apple, in celebration her landmark debut. According to RIAA calculations Invasion Of Privacy is already Gold certified record, before many have even had a chance to listen.
Not to rain on her parade, but the milestone was achieved through a neat technicality. Her inclusion "Bodak Yellow" in the final draft the album gave her a push coming out the gate. You see, "Bodak Yellow" already carries with it 500,000 units sold. So technically speaking, Invasion Privacy was a Gold Certified album that moment it was released.
Although "Bodak Yellow's" units sold will not count toward her first week sales, they do give her a distinctive honor. Most rappers would be quick to capitalize f a breakout single, Cardi's patience has paid dividends.
Invasion Of Privacy is out today, where records are sold. The album features also features her second single "Cartier Bardi," as well as a slew big name appearances from Kehlani, Chance the Rapper, YG, Bad Bunny, J Balvin, SZA, and more.
See The Top Highlights & Meme-able Moments of Ultra Day 1
The first day Ultra is done and over with and there are still two days left, but so much has already happened! While you listen to some the top sets from Day 1 , take a look at some the top moments from day 1 below.
Ultra 2018 Top Moments – Day 1
If you were paying attention during Joyryde’s set at the Worldwide stage, you might have caught this mad man on the live stream. Bringing a whole bottle Sriracha into festivals has kind become his thing – you might have also seen him at Beyond Wonderland just last week. No doubt we’ll be seeing more him as the weekend goes on.
YURI from Girls Generation
Not only did Raiden open up the whole Ultra festival on Friday, he also brought out the festival’s first special guest! About halfway into his set, he welcomed international sensation YURI, from the massive South Korean girls group Girls Generation, to the stage. Needless to say, fans were ecstatic as this was one our most-retweeted moments from day 1!
Oliver Heldens melts our hearts
Things really started to heat up once Oliver Heldens took the main stage. Contributing his own unique brand future house and funk to the festival, Heldens went to the front the stage to perform his classic shuffling routing, and fans went absolutely crazy for it.
Steve Aoki brought out the best special guests
Steve Aoki recently dropped “Azukita” with Daddy Yankee, Elvis Crespo, and Play-N-Skillz, and he eventually brought them all out on stage to perform it. But first, he brought out Daddy Yankee solo to perform his massive hit “Gasolina” to the tens thousands people watching at the main stage. What a moment!
He wasn’t done yet, though, as he brought out Desiigner to perform his remix BTS’s hit “Mic Drop.”
Not captured was Bok Nero coming out to perform “Kolony Anthem,” his collaboration with ILoveMakonnen.
Armin van Buuren brought the feels
Steve Aoki wasn’t the only one bringing out special guests – even trance heavyweight Armin van Buuren couldn’t resist the allure bringing out some help! Throughout his set, he brought out Conrad Sewell to perform a new single together, as well as Shapov who hopped on toward the latter half his set.
This moment is also in our top 3 for the whole day.
The king is back
Hardwell didn’t bring out any special guests, but he played a ton new music and definitely put the stage’s practical effects through the ringer with plenty pyro, strobes, and cryo blasts to satisfy all cravings.
DJ Snake might as well have been the headliner on day 1
You thought Steve Aoki’s guests were big? Well, they were. But the Parisian DJ wasn’t about to let Aoki top him. Snake brought out Malaa, Tchami, and Mercer to perform their new single “Let’s Get Ill” as well as J Balvin to perform “Mi Gente”!
He even debuted a new song during his set.
Did your favorite moment from day 1 not make the list? Let us know what it was in the comments!
