Amanda Seales feels that there are more important things to worry about right now than whether or not she's had issues with her former co-hosts on The Real, but she'll address these rumours anyway just to get it out of the way. On Tuesday (June 2nd), Amanda announced that she had decided not to renew her contract for the daytime talk show, and explained that she didn't feel like she had been able to use her voice in the way she wanted.

"It doesn’t feel good to my soul to be at a place where I can not speak to my people the way they need to be spoken to," she noted. "I’m not at a space where as a full black woman, I can have my voice and my co-workers also have their voices and where the people at the top are not respecting the necessity for black voices to be at the top too."

While the issue appeared to largely be with the higher-ups at the network, many began speculating that Amanda might have been having some problems with her fellow co-hosts, in particular Loni Love. Fans noticed that the Instagram account for The Real, as well as Loni's personal account, had supposedly unfollowed Amanda, and that she had unfollowed Loni back.
However, Amanda completely shut down these rumours, and called out everyone who was focused on imaginary drama between The Real ladies instead of on what's going on outside in the process.
“Do not try to create some false descension between me and the cohosts of ‘The Real,'" Amanda demanded. "Y’all so f*ckin’ corny. There is a whole pandemic and an uprising going on, and you still can’t find sh*t else to do? You try to create some conflict that doesn’t exist? I did not unfollow Loni Love. I haven't unfollowed anybody! Shout out to Jeannie, shout out to Tams, shout out to Loni Love, and shout out to Adrienne."
"What y'all don’t understand is grown women do grown women business, that’s what y’all don’t understand," she continued. "And what I do with my business ain’t got nothing to do with them sistas. Y’all need to have a good day and get your minds focused on what we need to do to make this a good world." Well there you have it. It looks like all Amanda wants is for everyone to redirect their energy towards doing something productive.

Jeezy and Jeannie Mai enjoy some alone time together in the rain as they lip-synched along to a New Edition classic.
If you were bold enough to venture outside to celebrate Memorial Day at one of the many social gatherings today (May 25), then, depending on where you are, you may have experienced a little rain. That didn’t put a damper on the parties for the remembrance holiday, and it surely didn’t derail Jeezy and fiancée Jeannie Mai who decided to get some alone time while taking a hike.

Jeannie Mai shared a video to her Instagram page that showed her and her soon-to-be husband Jeezy singing New Edition’s classic hit “Can You Stand the Rain” while…well…standing in the rain. Jeezy looked as if he was about to get his dancing-R&B-music-video-moment on, but there just wasn’t enough downpour for that. Maybe next time.
Meanwhile, the happily-in-love couple continues to enjoy their time together before they get to the hustle and bustle of planning a wedding. Jeannie Mai recently shared that while they haven’t spoken about the specifics of their big day, she and Jeezy have definitely discussed the music selection for their reception. We’re sure it’ll be filled with Snowman hits. Check out these two dancing in the rain as they lip-sync to a New Edition favorite below.
Jeannie Mai Talks Wedding Reception Music Plans: "The Beats Have To Be Sickening!"
Jeannie Mai and Jeezy haven’t mapped out the exact plans for their wedding, but “The Real” host revealed some must-haves for their big day.
Although it seems as if Jeannie Mai and Jeezy‘s relationship has been moving rather quickly, the couple has been together since November 2018. They reportedly met on the set of The Real and ever since then, they’ve been inseparable. Their match-up seemed like an unlikely romance to fans, but they’ve been flaunting their love on social media after going public with their relationship.

Like many engaged couples, Jeezy and Jeannie Mai have been finding their wedding plans put on pause because of the COVID-19 pandemic. In a recent chat with HollywoodLife, Jeannie shared bits about what she and her rapper fiancée have envisioned for their big day. “The beats have to be sickening,” Jeannie said of their reception’s music selection. “So yes, it’s going to be a dance fest. We love R&B and of course, we love jazz and hip hop. We love 80s, too. We always said our wedding would be one fat party of love, so definitely that.”
Jeannie admitted that she and Jeezy haven’t laid out well-made plans for their trip down the aisle just yet. “We talk about things that we like,” she added. “All I know is I’m going to tell you one thing for sure that is going to happen at my wedding — Mama Mai is absolutely going to perform. She is absolutely going to sing!”
Jasmine Sanders Denies Ever Dating Jeezy
Jeezy was accused of sliding into Jasmine Sanders' DMs weeks after his proposal to Jeannie Mai but the model says they were never romantically involved.
Jeezy and Jasmine Sanders were allegedly romantically involved for some time but, according to the Sports Illustrated model, the two were never actually an item.
This weekend, Jeezy was accused of sliding into his ex-girlfriend's DMs just weeks after getting engaged to Jeannie Mai. However, according to Jasmine Sanders, not only is that false but she and the rapper were never actually a couple in the first place.
"Jeezy and I never dated. He did not slide in my DMs. Stop reaching. You have the wrong guy," wrote Jasmine on Twitter after reports broke out that the rapper was sending his ex messages.
Thankfully, this was cleared up quickly because Jeezy and Jeannie Mai seem to have a beautiful relationship going and it would be a shame to see them struggle because of some false, petty rumors.
The rumors began after the model shared a photo of herself with a cryptic caption, writing: "I check all my DMs and yes I deleted yours." She also tweeted the following: "If you’re over it. Be over it. If you’re not- feel everything and stop feeling like you owe someone an explanation."
Because of the mysterious nature of the caption, people assumed that she was talking about Jeezy. It didn't take long for her to clear up the confusion though, telling the world that she was actually shading somebody else.

Fat Joe continues to hang out with his famous friends on Instagram Live as he pegs them with questions about their careers and personal lives. The “Lean Back” rapper couldn’t help but ask Jeezy about his relationship with The Real talk show host, asking Jeezy how he knew that Jeannie was “the one” for him.
“I just saw something that you had with Puff when he was saying that, when you get the one, you can’t play with it,” Jeezy responded, referencing the recent chat Fat Joe had with Diddy where the Bad Boy mogul told the “players” not to miss out on a good woman. “You just know. You can’t even play, bro. When you locked in mentally, that’s the battle. You want to build. You want to grow. You want to learn.” The rapper added that he didn’t even have to think twice about whether or not Jeannie Mai was the right woman for him.
“Like Puff say, you find the one, you can’t play,” Jeezy continued. Watch Fat Joe and Jeezy chop it up about settling down below.

Jeannie Mai Tells Full Story Of How Jeezy Proposed To Her
Jeanne Mai shared a 14 minute Youtube video explaining exactly how Jeezy proposed to her during quarantine after their trip to Vietnam was cancelled.
Jeannie Mai gave the full rundown of how her now-fiancé Jeezy brought Vietnam to them after their planned trip was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic, and how he used the opportunity to propose to her. Jeannie and Jeezy have been together since the fall of 2018, and the two of them are clearly head over heels for each other. That’s why it should come as no surprise that Jeezy decided to pop the question to his love last month while the two were holed up in quarantine together. They officially announced their engagement last week, revealing that they were supposed to take a trip to Vietnam this month with their families. However, when they realized they weren’t going to be able to jet off on their adventure, Jeezy decided to bring the trip to Jeannie with a Vietnam-inspired date night. Jeannie had no idea that along with the Vietnamese food and decor, though, she’d also be getting a ring.

Jeannie took to her Hello Hunnay Youtube channel to tell the full story of how the proposal happened. While the two of them were snuggling by the fireplace after enjoying their Vietnamese-style evening, Jeezy got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. “I completely froze because I just could not believe that he did this,” she said. “I then at that very moment figured it all out: Jay had planned to propose to me in Vietnam. The reason he brought Vietnam to me is because he didn’t want the quarantine to stop the fact that he wanted to propose to me. Jay is my soulmate.” He then showed her a video of all her family members offering their approval of the engagement. “Jay had done the most important thing in my culture,” she indicted, “which his to pay respect to the mom and the dad.”
