KSHMR At Last Drops His New Single & We Can't Get It Out Of Our Heads [MUST LISTEN]
KSHMR and Sidnie Tipton do it again! The ultra-prolific producer and the soulful singer first linked up for “Wildcard,” the ultra-catchy main-stage banger that dominated 2016. Now, they’re back for a follow-up collaboration with a much more mature record on KSHMR’s label Dharma.
“House Of Cards” demonstrates KSHMR’s ability to produce cross-genre hits. The record is certainly more ‘muted’ than the mainstage bangers that we’ve come to expect from KSHMR – but in a good way. It’s a synth-driven piece which features a catchy rifts throughout that pair perfectly with Sidnie Tipton’s soulful vocals.
The track was a little over two weeks ago, but the full version gives us a much broader sense the track, including that addictive guitar riff and Tipton’s effortless vocals. Check it out below.
KSHMR Mourns The Loss Of His Grandfather
It’s never easy losing a relative, especially someone you were close to. Today, KSHMR mourns the loss his dadaji, or grandfather, and his fans are staying with him in spirit.
This moment at Sunburn 2016 when KSHMR brought his dadaji out on stage is no doubt ingrained in the memories KSHMR fam. It was soon after the death his grandma, and now they are together once again.
RIP Dadaji, and our thoughts are with KSHMR in this time mourning.
Listen To KSHMR's Brand New Collab Ahead of Friday's Release
After the wild success that KSHMR had teaming up with Sidnie Tipton on “Wildcard” on The Lion Across The Field EP, the two are teaming up once again on KSHMR’s new single out February 16, “House Of Cards.”
KSHMR broadens his sound a little bit on this new single, as he keeps fragments his Indian-influenced sound while incorporating it into some phenomenal guitar work and pop sounds. Remember, KSHMR, aka Niles Hollowell-Dhar, was once a producer and member The Cataracs, so he’s no stranger to pop.
From the preview below, we already get a significant idea for how the track will develop, but we’re still waiting on the full track to drop in two weeks. Check out “House Of Cards” below!
KSHMR Teases His Next Single, Reveals Even Bigger News In The Process [Details]
KSHMR is making some serious music moves that fans need to know about!
Thanks to the internet, today we’ve learned a couple vital pieces information about the producer’s future releases… 1) He’s busy at work on a new album. 2) His track “House Of Cards” finally has a release date.
Unsurprisingly, KSHMR has been working on recording instrumental elements for his new album. In the social post below, the producer is pictured in studio with another musician by the name Ali Tolga.
“…we recorded oud, violin and viola for world-wide artist KSHMR’s new album,” the photo below is captioned.
As if that isn’t exciting enough, KSHMR just revealed his forthcoming track “House Of Cards” featuring Sidnie Tipton has a release date set for February 16th. The minute long clip won’t fully satisfy those KSHMR cravings, but hey — at least it’s something!
KSHMR Unleashes Official Anthem for Sunburn Festival
We live in a day and age where music festivals recruit producers to create anthems for their events. These anthems go on to define preview videos and after movies, as we’ve seen with festivals like Tomorrowland and Ultra.
It must be humbling for an artist to be asked to create a festival’s anthem, especially when the festival and artist share the same lineage. KSHMR produced the anthem “SHIVA” with Marnik and The Golden Army for the Sunburn music festival in Goa, India, the country from which KSHMR’s father originally emigrated. Now, the music video for the anthem, titled “SHIVA,” is here, and turns out the anthem fits the video perfectly. The video cuts well-edited crowd shots from the festival with psychedelic nature and religious imagery, including some cameos from a camel and a tiger. Sunburn is already renown for being an amazing festival, and this video for KSHMR’s anthem only whets our appetite to attend.

There's A New EDM Super-Group On The Way Lead By The Legendary KSHMR
R3hab and KSHMR could very well be our next superstar DJ duo!
In a telling social media post, R3hab poses a question that sounds a lot more like a real possibility than it does hypothetical: Do you think that KSHMR and I should start a supergroup? For anyone who loves their collaborations, “Karate,” “Islands,” and “Strong,” the answer is obvious.
With imaginations racing with what the potential side project might sound like, R3hab asks dance music fans to put their two cents in. All in favor should like and/or comment on the post below. So far, most the responses are overwhelmingly positive.
“Obviously! You guys are awesome!! When you two produce music together, it’s a blast.”
“Let the legends come together and create a whole new world…… and allow me to get lost in it.”
“What do mean by should you??!!! Of course you should, that’d be soooo lit.”
We’re all for this! Do you think these guys would make a good team? Drop your thoughts in the comments!

KSHMR Plays Out Amazing Hans Zimmer Remix at One Of The World's Biggest Festivals
KSHMR has the ability to take untouchable productions and make them his own — and his “Now We Are Free” remix Hans Zimmer’s masterpiece is nothing less than incredible!
The most notable song from the Gladiator soundtrack has never sounded so epic, as KSHMR completely transforms the bittersweet theme into a theatrical banger worthy any festival’s mainstage. We’re going to go out on a limb and say KSHMR is the only producer who could do this song as much justice as he demonstrated for the crowd at Sunburn Music Festival.
The full set spans over an hour and features many KSHMR’s most loved productions including “Power” with Hardwell, “Secrets” with Tiësto, “Islands” with R3HAB. Plus, he sprinkles in hits from Armin van Buuren & Vini Vici, DVBBS & Borgeous and more. KSHMR’s entire live set from Sunburn is up in its entirety, but it’s ok to skip ahead to experience the revival “Now We Are Free.”
It’s been a big year for KSHMR. After debuting on DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJ list at No.23 in 2016, he found himself at No. 12 this year and rightfully so. Productions like this make it apparent there’s no where but up for this superstar DJ. Watch as KSHMR throws down one last time in 2017!
