Marshmello Gets Snubbed, Kygo Walks Away With Big Win At Radio Disney Music Awards
The Radio Disney Music Awards, which saw nominations for Taylor Swift, Meghan Trainor, and Ed Sheeran, but also Marshmello, Kygo, and Zedd, has come and gone. The event was held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood this past weekend and many walked away either honored or empty handed.

Zedd was also nominated for three categories and walked away empty handed, losing in Song of the Year, Best Collaboration, and Best Dance Track, each time for his song “The Middle” with Grey and Maren Morris.
Kygo, on the other hand, managed to squeak by with one win for Best Collaboration with Selena Gomez for “It Ain’t Me.” Kygo was only nominated for the one category.
Meanwhile, Steve Aoki won Best Dance Track for his remix of “Mic Drop” by BTS.

Kygo Unveils Massive New Collab with Imagine Dragons
After teasing something with Imagine Dragons two days ago, Kygo has revealed that he has a collaboration with the American rock group called “Born To Be Yours.”
Information about the track seems to be slowly trickling out, first with the reveal that there was something happening, now Kygo with the track’s title. Imagine Dragons finishes it up with a blissful audio preview and a release date: this Friday.
With Imagine Dragons now locked in, Kygo has a formidable start to a new album, after releasing his Stargazing EP last year. That included “It Ain’t Me” with Selena Gomez and “First Time” with Ellie Goulding.
We’ll have to wait and see when “Born To Be Yours” drops, but experience tells that it will be worth it.

BREAKING: Kygo x Imagine Dragons Is A Thing
Kygo has something big on the horizon…
On Facebook and Instagram, the Norwegian DJ and producer has shared a simple image of himself posing with American rockers Imagine Dragons; the caption is just the musical notes emoji.
The teaser could mean either a collaboration or a remix, but Billboard seems to believe it’s a fully-fledged collab. The reality won’t be known until more information is revealed, since we haven’t heard anything about him working with Imagine Dragons in the past.
Regardless, Kygo has worked with some other high-profile rockers in the past including U2 and OneRepublic, so we don’t see any of this being an issue, no matter how it goes down.

Kygo Just Teased Two of The Biggest Collabs of His Career
Kygo‘s Coachella set made the headlines when he brought out Ariana Grande to perform her new single “No Tears Left To Cry” during his main stage debut at the festival. Curious how that collaboration happened? A new video interview reveals the details… plus teases one of his dream collaborations.
Billboard interviewed Kygo during this year’s edition of the Billboard Music Awards and found out more about how he and Grande linked up. He revealed that both of their managers had been talking about a collaboration for a while. Then, the stars aligned: Grande released her new single “No Tears Left to Cry” the day before his set at Coachella weekend two. Grande premiered the track live during his set the following night, and the rest is history.
Kygo also talked about his dream to collaborate with Ed Sheeran. He revealed that while he and Sheeran talked about getting together in the studio, the two haven’t teamed up yet. He said Sheeran is very busy and hard to contact, so it’ll all come down to timing. Maybe for Kygo’s next album?

Kygo Shows His Love for Avicii with New Tattoo
Kygo is remembering Avicii in a very, very special way.
The Kids In Love producer just got some fresh new ink, which he shows off in a recent pic his Insta Story (screenshot below). All eyes are on the palm tree, which he now permanently sports on his forearm. This could have to do with his love for tropical places, tropical house, or both.
Now, shift your gaze down just a bit to his wrist and you’ll see another fresh tat. This one commemorates the legend Avicii through a simple outline of the late producer’s logo. It looks as though Kygo decided to get both of these tattoos in just one sitting.
Kygo, like many other musicians, took the news of Avicii’s unexpected passing especially hard.
Can’t believe this is true..my biggest inspiration and the reason why I started making electronic music. Thank you for all the joy you brought to the world with your music. RIP @Avicii https://t.co/74ihAHtpl2
— Kygo (@KygoMusic) April 20, 2018
Weeks ago, Kygo ended his Coachella set by saying a few words in dedication to Avicii and then playing “Without You.” While not the most popular Avicii song, Kygo said it was his favorite song from the Swedish producer. Relive that special moment here and peep the new ink below.

FIRST LISTEN: Don Diablo Reveals Official New Remix for Kygo [VIDEO]
Kygo and Don Diablo!? What did we do to deserve this…
This Friday, Don Diablo will drop a new remix for Kygo’s “Kids In Love,” off his newest album of the same name. We only get a hint of the vocals toward the very end, but we feel like that will end up being the absolute hook of the track. Otherwise, Don’s well-known production stylings are in full view and as effusive as ever.
The remix actually ends up sounding like a few other Don Diablo tracks, but only as a consequence of his recognizable style. In actuality, the rhythm and arrangement are still fresh and exciting. Ultimately, we’re just excited to get some new Don Diablo music, and this pairing is exactly what the doctor ordered.
Check out your first teaser below.

Kygo Confirms New Collab with One of EDM's Biggest DJs
It’s not everyday you get Kygo and Alan Walker in the same room to talk music — but that’s exactly what just happened as the two have hit the road together for their first-ever North American tour. During a recent interview, they discussed the current state of dance music, staying relevant, streaming trends, and most notably, dream collaborators. As it turns out, they are each other’s.
PAPER had the opportunity to speak with them both during Coachella, and they revealed their plans to team up together. When asked about dream collaborators here’s what Alan Walker and Kygo had to say:
Alan Walker: One of my dream collaborators… [laughs] I would definitely pick you!
Kygo: Wow! Well that one is going to happen!
Alan Walker: [Laughs]
Alan Walker revealed his true, #1 dream collaborator as DJ Ness, while Kygo mentioned his desire to make music with pop sensation Ed Sheeran. All of this sounds amazing, but we’re really all about the two teaming up together. From the sounds of this interview, it’s only a matter of time.
Kygo: …But I mean now I am just really excited about our collaboration. It’s definitely going to happen!
For fans of Kygo and Alan Walker, this collaboration will be a perfect match. Now hopefully these guys find time to make it happen with their busy tour schedules, sooner rather than later.
