Pendulum Drops New House Remix Of Classic "Tarantula"
Pendulum hasn’t had a lot of luck with their The Reworks album so far. Noisia’s remix of “Hold Your Colour” wasn’t close enough to the original for some, and Knife Party’s remix of “Blood Sugar” just plain wasn’t that good. So fans were hoping that the third remix, a house cut of “Tarantula” from Icarus, could turn things around. Did it? Well… kind of.
“Tarantula” has always been one of Pendulum’s highest-energy tracks, pumping out ragga vibes with decidedly massive drums and synths. Its amplitude never fails to turns dance floors into mosh pits with the high tempo and explosiveness, so to see it turned into a toned-down house tune is a little disappointing.
Don’t get me wrong, this track is perfect for those late, 4am sessions at the club when everyone is drunk and struggling to stay awake, but that’s about it. “Tarantula” could have benefited from a bass house or electro remix, but taking the energy down so far on arguably the highest-energy track on the album seems to be a mistake.
The album will still have other non-bass remixes from the likes of DJ Seinfeld and ATTLAS, but they’re on “Still Grey” and “Streamline,” respectively, far more appropriate tracks.

Jimmy Kimmel Drags Sean Hannity For Working With Michael Cohen
Donald Trump's lawyer Michael Cohen revealed in court on Monday that his covert third client was Sean Hannity, which prompted a particularly scathing response from Jimmy Kimmel. The late night talk show host and the conservative political commentator have a quarrelsome history, as the latter ripped into the former for mocking Melania Trump's accent during one his monologues. The two engaged in a Twitter dispute, which eventually halted after Kimmel realized the "level vitriol" exchanged in their dispute was "harmful to our country."
However, Kimmel found it necessary to reignite their feud after Cohen admitted that Hannity had sought legal counsel from the man who was involved in giving hush money to Stormy Daniels to keep her affair with President Trump under wraps. Hannity denied his involvement with the highly contested lawyer by stating "Michael Cohen has never represented me in any matter. I never retained him, received an invoice, or paid legal fees. I have occasionally had brief discussions with him about legal questions about which I wanted his input and perspective."
Kimmel notes how "Hannity was tweeting furiously this afternoon to distance himself, as you might imagine, from a lawyer whose only job seems to be paying women out. He wrote, 'I assumed those conversations were confidential, but to be absolutely clear they never involved any matter between me and a third party.' I don't know what kind legal advice doesn't involve a third party, unless maybe Sean Hannity was thinking about suing himself? But besides the implications that are raised, it's a big deal because Sean Hannity's been the chief propaganda guy for Trump's legal team. He never disclosed that he's also represented by a member that legal team. If this is the biggest witch-hunt in history, as they say it is, we're running out spots on the broomstick. It's getting very full. We may have to add an extension to this thing."
Hannity has yet to respond to Kimmel's comments.
Jimmy Kimmel Mocks Donald Trump's Penis & Melania Trump's Accent On "Live!"
Jimmy Kimmel is well known for his satirical brand humour, which is always eager to analyze and criticize salient happenings in the world politics, arts and culture. Case in point, the late night talk show host's never-ending stream jokes and insults aimed squarely at the current Commander in Chief Donald Trump and anyone related to his presidency.
During last night's edition Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the comedian continued to discuss Stormy Daniels' explosive 60 Minutes interview and her past tryst with Trump. Kimmel brings up Daniels' lawyer's interview with Megyn Kelly, in which he admits how CBS had edited out a great deal the 2 hour conversation between Daniels and interviewer Anderson Cooper. In the digital detritus is the confession that the former pornstar "can describe the president’s genitalia in great detail."
Kelly simply responds "we don't need to hear that." However, Kimmel clearly disagrees, revealing how "we do need to hear that. preferably on this show. I would be happy to facilitate that. When Stormy Daniels was here, I invited her to pick a carrot. That invitation still stands. By the way, Stormy Daniels has been in probably hundreds adult films. With all that she’s seen, if she, 12 years after the experience, can still describe the president’s genitalia in great detail, that can only mean one thing: in some way or another he has an unusual penis. Maybe it’s bent. Maybe it has spots on it. Maybe it has a little blond toupee on top. But what I do know is America has a right to know this.”
Kimmel then ripped into Melania Trump by alleging that she had no hand in organizing or implementing the White House's annual Easter Egg Roll. "Not a chance she did one thing to help set that up. There's no -- she didn't dye eggs, she didn't fill baskets," but instead insists that she spent her time constructing an escape tunnel from her husband. Kimmel then began to mock her using an Eastern European accent, which conservative commentators have begun to claim as being racist.
