Tua Tagovailoa was highly-touted coming out of the University of Alabama and in this year's NFL Entry Draft, he was taken fifth overall by the Miami Dolphins. Now, the team has signed him to a contract worth more than $30 million and the vast majority of that money is guaranteed. Even if Tua is a bust, he will be set for life and now, he is looking to repay his family for all of the sacrifices they made on his journey to the NFL.
Yesterday was Mother's Day and Tua made it a special one for his mom as he surprised her with a brand new Cadillac Escalade. This is a massive vehicle fit for a queen and Tua's mother was definitely in a state of shock. In fact, she was pretty speechless about it all, which was really cool to see.
Miami Dolphins fans are over the moon about having Tua on their team as they haven't had a real star quarterback in quite some time. If he can lead this team to the playoffs, he will already win the hearts of many in the city.
Hopefully, he is as generous with his wide receivers as he is his own mother.

Tua Tagovailoa’s Dolphins Contract Revealed
Tua Tagovailoa is about to make a lot of money now that is a quarterback for the Miami Dolphins.
Tua Tagovailoa was one of the best NFL draft prospects coming into this season, with many believing he would be the first overall pick in the draft. As the quarterback for the Alabama Crimson Tide, Tagovailoa was a standout although a hip injury meant an early end to his 2019 campaign. Since the injury, there have been questions about whether or not he can still play football at a high level. During the combine and his pre-draft physicals, Tua was able to put all skepticism to bed and last night, he was taken fifth overall by the Miami Dolphins.
Since he is a high draft pick, he is eligible for a massive rookie contract and that's exactly what he is getting. According to reporter Tym Reynolds, Tua's contract will be worth $30.3 million over the next four seasons which works out to just over $7.5 million per year.
Joe Burrow went first overall in the draft to the Cincinnati Bengals and signed for $5.8 million more than Tagovailoa did. With these figures in mind, it will be interesting to see which player is better in the long run and who will have more immediate success in the NFL.
Regardless, both of these men just became set for life. If you're a Bengals or Dolphins fan, you have to be happy with how things played out.

Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa Announces NFL Draft Decision
Tua announces he'll enter the 2020 NFL Draft.
Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback Tua Tagovailoa has decided to forego his senior season and will enter the 2020 NFL Draft. Tagovailoa, who suffered a hip injury late in the 2019 season, is still expected to be a top selection in April's draft with many mock drafts projecting him to be drafted fifth overall by the Miami Dolphins. And if the Dolphins pass on Tua, the Los Angeles Chargers, slotted sixth, are seen as another likely landing spot.
Tagovailoa made his decision known during a press conference on Monday.
"It was a hard decision all around: taking into consideration the pros and cons from both sides of the situation and the decision. I got to seek guidance from my family; we prayed a lot about it. This is a decision I'm going to have to live with. I made it, and I'm good with it," Tagovailoa said.
"I'm just focusing on my rehab, as far as now, with all the teams. Deciding if i'm going to do anything physically [in the pre-draft process], we'll decide that with our athletic training staff and see what the doctors have to say about that."
The 21-year old QB made a name for himself during the 2018 national title game, as he took over for starting QB Jalen Hurts and led the Crimson Tide to a come from behind victory over the Georgia Bulldogs.
He threw for 2,840 yards, 33 touchdowns and just three interceptions in nine games for Bama this season before suffering a dislocated hip and a posterior wall fracture during a November 16th game against Mississippi State. In his three seasons at Alabama, Tua compiled 7,442 passing yards with 87 passing TDs and nine rushing scores.
