Los Angeles Rams running back Todd Gurley could be the next big NFL name on the move, as Pro Football Talk reports that the Rams are currently in discussions regarding a trade for the two-time All-Pro talent. In fact, ESPN's Jeff Darlington (H/T Evan Silva) mentioned on Wednesday that Gurley is "likelier than not to be traded" in the near future.

Gurley, who was selected 10th overall by the Rams out of Georgia in the 2015 NFL Draft, signed a massive four-year, $60 million contract extension prior to the 2018 season and responded by racking up over 1,800 yards from scrimmage with 21 total touchdowns (17 on the ground). However, he suffered a knee injury towards the tail end of that campaign and has been splitting carries ever since. Last season, TGIII rushed for just 857 yards, although he did find the endzone a total of 14 times.
It's unclear which teams are in talks with the Rams on a potential Gurley trade, but if they get in contact with the Houston Texans they might be able to land Deshaun Watson, JJ Watt and multiple first round picks. If the Rams can't find a realistic trade partner, NFL Network's Michael Silver reports that the 25-year old running back could be cut.
"[Gurley] has a big contract, the Rams have paid some other guys, and they want to move forward without him," Silver said on Wednesday. "They may cut [Gurley] if they can't find a trading partner when all is said and done."
Chicago Bears Pull Off Trade For Veteran Quarterback
Chicago Bears acquire Nick Foles in trade with Jacksonville Jaguars, signaling "Minshew Mania" is back on.
The Chicago Bears have reached a deal with the Jacksonville Jaguars to acquire veteran quarterback Nick Foles. According to reports, the Bears are sending a compensatory fourth-round pick to Jacksonville in exchange for the former Super Bowl champion.
Obviously, this isn't a great sign for Chicago's confidence in Mitchell Trubisky, the guy they traded up to select (ahead of Patrick Mahomes and Deshaun Watson) in the 2017 NFL Draft.

As a result of the trade, the Bears will agree to take on the three years remaining on Foles' contract, which pays a base value of $50 million. Meanwhile, the Jags will take on a dead cap charge of $18.75M for 2020, but they do have a total of 12 draft picks at their disposal in the upcoming NFL Draft.
Foles, 31, suffered a broken collarbone in his first game with the Jaguars last season, which paved the way for sixth-round rookie Gardner Minshew to take over. Minshew went 4-4 as a starter while Foles was sidelined, but he was benched once the veteran QB was cleared to return. However, Foles struggled and head coach Doug Marrone went back "Minshew Mania" to close out the season. With Foles now headed to Chicago, it's clear that Marrone and the Jags are prepared to move forward with Minshew as their starting QB in 2020.
Jaguars Agree To Trade Pro Bowl CB AJ Bouye
Jacksonville Jaguars reportedly agree to trade former Pro Bowl cornerback A.J. Bouye to the Denver Broncos.
ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting that we've got our big first trade of the 2020 NFL off-season today, as the Jacksonville Jaguars have agreed to send cornerback A.J. Bouye to the Denver Broncos in exchange for a 2020 fourth round pick.
As noted by Schefter, the deal can't be officially processed until the new league year begins on Wednesday, March 18th.

Bouye, who will turn 29 before the start of the 2020 season, went undrafted in 2013 out of the University of Central Florida but later signed with the Houston Texans, where he spent the first four years of his career. He joined the Jags in 2017, where he earned Pro Bowl honors opposite current Los Angeles Rams All Pro defensive back Jalen Ramsey. In 93 career games, Bouye has recorded 14 interceptions.
The Broncos finished 7-9 a season ago, and their four-time Pro Bowl cornerback Chris Harris is set to become an unrestricted free agent and he is expected to receive interest from a hoard of teams. Needless to say, the addition of Bouye will help Denver fill the void left behind by Harris if and when he signs elsewhere.
Also of note, Jacksonville will now have a total of 10 draft picks in the upcoming draft, including six in the first four rounds, according to Schefter.
