Dillon Francis Goes One-Deeper In Hilarious "One Deeper Talks" with Kaskade [VIDEO]
Dillon Francis continues his One Deeper Talks series with another hilarious Director’s Cut of his interview with Kaskade. While the original was only around 2 minutes long, this nearly 9-minute cut contains all the cringe and awkwardness that we’d expect from DJ Hanzel and more.
Dillon’s DJ Hanzel’s greatest talents is making his guests feel just uncomfortable enough, and of course that’s on full display here once again. From criticizing his choice of flip flops to telling him not to catch a falling hula hoop to calling him DJ Gary, Hanzel is a master of his craft.

Dillon Francis Reveals Hilarious New Footage From One Deeper Talk With Jauz
Dillon Francis continues to roll out the directors cut editions of his One Deeper Talks with DJ Hanzel, and we find ourselves continuing to ask why these weren’t released as such in the first place. It’s a digital series – there was no reason they had to be capped at 2 minutes 30 seconds.
But honestly, we’re just happy that we’re seeing these at all.
Having already shared Directors Cuts from his interviews with Calvin Harris and Alesso, the next one up on the list is Jauz. The whole premise of the interview is that Hanzel thought he’d be interviewing John Williams, the composer for the theme song of the movie Jaws. It’s with that central theme in mind that the interview is built upon, which just makes his interactions with Jauz all the more funny.

Dillon Francis Revives His Hilarious DJ Hanzel Interviews & They're Funnier Than Ever
A little over a year ago, Dillon Francis worked with TBS to produce a series of interview-style videos called “One Deeper Talks” that brought along Calvin Harris, Tokimonsta, Jauz, Alesso, Kaskade, What So Not, and Flosstradamus. Perhaps they knew, perhaps they didn’t, but rather than speaking to Dillon Francis, they were speaking to DJ Hanzel.
It wasn’t so much a series as a collection of short interview snippets, all around 2 minutes long. However, of course, there was way more caught by the cameras that we never got to see.
Now, for whatever reason, Dillon Francis has regained ownership of the original footage and has released a directors cut of his interview with Calvin Harris. In the Eric Andre-style interview, the new footage is ostensibly even more Hanzel-esque than the original cuts.
“Watch out, that’s more fragile than your career,” Hanzel says to Calvin Harris as the latter collides with a lamp on set. “Your songs have been streamed more than 5 billion times. Does this make you the McDonald’s of music?” he asks.
Only the Calvin Harris directors cut has been shared so far, but we figure the other ones aren’t far behind (we hope). Check it out below.
