Update (3:03 pm): The Chiefs' gear has now arrived in Foxboro, according to Adam Schefter.
The Chiefs are in a bit of a panic. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, containers holding the team's shoulder pads, helmets and footballs were not unloaded from the plane Saturday and accidentally shipped to Newark, NJ. The equipment is now being rushed to Boston in time for the Chiefs-Patriots matchup at 4:30 pm.
If the equipment does not arrive in time, apparently the Chiefs will have to forfeit the game as Schefter writes, "The detoured equipment is expected to arrive between 3 and 3:30 p.m. ET, in time for Sunday's kickoff. If the Chiefs didn't have the equipment by the time the game started they would have to forfeit, per a source."
A source also tells ESPN that the missed luggage includes the equipment of 35 players. It is also important to note that this appears to be the fault of the Chiefs, not an elaborate cheating plot by the Patriots.
This is an important matchup for both teams. The Chiefs hope to maintain their spot atop the AFC West as well as prove that they will be a contender come playoff time. The Patriots, while boasting a strong overall record, are 2-2 in the last four weeks. Their two wins did not come easy either.
Tom Brady’s Dad Divulges On His Son’s Future With The Patriots
The decision is in Bill Belichick’s hands.
This season has been an interesting one for the New England Patriots. At 10-2, they are tied for one of the best records in the entire NFL but have been struggling on the offensive side of the ball. Tom Brady has been having a hard time over the last few games and it has started to impact the Patriots’ results. With that being said, there are now questions surrounding Brady’s future and whether or not he will still be a member of the Patriots as of next season.
In an interview with Karen Guregian of Boston Herald.com, Brady’s father spoke about his son’s tenure with the Patriots and whether or not it would last any longer. As he explains, it’s really up to the likes of Bill Belichick who never tells people what he plans on doing.

“You know, I don’t know. It’s hard for me to envision him playing somewhere else. He wants to play. But ultimately, it’s Bill’s decision,” Brady Sr. said. “Nobody really knows. Bill doesn’t tip his hand. There’s just been insinuations here and there. This is really kind of between those two. They got to decide what they want. If Bill says he doesn’t want Tommy, and Tommy wants to play, well, Joe Montana went to Kansas City … just because Bill decides he wants to move on, that won’t dictate Tommy’s future. I’m sure there are a few other teams in the league that would want him.”
If the Patriots win the Super Bowl this season, it will be a lot harder for the Patriots to part ways with Brady. If they somehow lose out in the first round, perhaps there will be some credence to the rumors. Either way, this could certainly prove to be an interesting saga.
Texans Linebackers Show Up To Patriots Game In SWAT Suits: Watch
Creative yet effective.
Last night was huge for the Houston Texans as they proved to the football world just how good they are. Deshaun Watson has been touted as an elite quarterback and pundits wanted to see how he would do against someone like Tom Brady. In the end, the Texans won the game by a score of 28-22 and Watson was phenomenal. As of right now, the Texans are first place in the AFC South and seem to have a stranglehold on the division which is something many people predicted to start the year.
Prior to yesterday's game, the Texans' defensive core was being heavily scrutinized due to their pre-game attire. As you can see in the video below, the team's linebackers came into the stadium dressed like a SWAT team. It's a pretty badass sight to see but some felt as though it was a little too heavy-handed and that the Patriots would make them pay.
Of course, the Texans linebackers came out on top which shows just how great this whole gimmick was. Brady was rendered useless for the first half of the game and the LB squad had a lot to do with that. Typically, these gimmicks don't work out very well but last night was the odd example of it paying off and we're here for it.
If the Texans and Patriots meet again in the playoffs, we're excited to see what the linebackers have in store for next time.
Tom Brady Reacts To Patriots Loss After Poor Offensive Performance
The Patriots offense has been struggling this season.
Tom Brady and the New England Patriots were dominating the competition earlier this season and even jumped out to an 8-0 record to start the season. After a loss to the Baltimore Ravens, the Patriots offense was exposed for having some glaring weak points and last night, they were exposed again. The Texans ended up defeating the now 10-2 Patriots by a score of 28-22 and kept the Pats to just nine points after three quarters.
Brady struggled in the pocket for the Patriots and there were times where he was caught yelling at his receiver for not creating separation. Realistically, Brady was to blame for the team’s lack of offense as well but seemed to deflect when it was convenient for him. In a report from Mike Reiss of ESPN.com, Brady broke down what went wrong.

“Just execution, just have to do a better job. It’s tough to get behind and come back. We put ourselves in a pretty deep hole and you can’t do that on the road,” Brady said. “We didn’t get the job done. A loss is a loss, and learn from it and try to move on to next week.”
As the Patriots head into the last stretch of the season, they will have to answer numerous questions surrounding their team’s offense. This is their first bit of adversity this season and fans are curious to see how they respond with the playoffs on the horizon.
Antonio Brown Teases Patriots Fan With Christmas-Inspired Watch
What's AB planning here?
Antonio Brown and the New England Patriots had a very brief love affair for a couple of weeks in September but it eventually came crashing down after some highly-publicized allegations. Now, Brown is out of the league and waiting for a second chance from a team that wants him. The NFL has yet to come to a conclusion in their investigation against him so for now, he has to play the waiting game. In the meantime, Brown has been spending plenty of time on social media where he has teased fans in a variety of ways.
Brown's latest bit of antics comes in the form of the video below, which features some Christmas music, as well as clips of Brown receiving passes from none other than Tom Brady. These clips are from the only game they played together and fans are hoping this could be a sign of a potential reunion.
The timing of this video was fairly interesting as it came in the midst of the Patriots loss to the Houston Texans on Sunday night. Brady and his receivers had a horrible night and were continuously struggling to find separation. Had Brown been on the field, the game would certainly have been a different story and AB recognizes that better than anybody.
As the postseason approaches, it will be interesting to see what happens with Brown and whether he finds a team or will have to wait until next year.
Rob Gronkowski Flexes Some Questionable Dance Moves: Watch
Gronk is spending his retirement the only way he knows how.
Rob Gronkowski was considered to be one of the most vibrant personalities in all of football during his playing days and now that he’s retired, nothing has really changed. When Gronk hung up his cleats this past summer, we all knew he would be able to keep himself in the public eye somehow and his partying ways are certainly a great start. Gronk has already committed himself to work on TV and some business endeavors but when it comes to his personal life, the party never stops.
According to footage obtained by TMZ, Gronk was recently in Dallas to see his brothers for what is assumed to be Thanksgiving festivities. While out at a bar, Gronk can be seen dominating the dance floors as he pulls off various questionable moves with his brother surrounding him. The clip is exactly what we expect from Gronk and truthfully, it’s one of the reasons why fans love him.
Gronk truly seems as happy as ever here so we can’t really give him too much hell for the dance moves, as wild as they may have been. In fact, you have to give him quite a bit of credit for having the courage to go and do something like that.
As Gronk does deeper into retirement, we can imagine his antics will only begin to increase, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing in the slightest.
Rob Gronkowski On A Potential Return: "No, I’m Not Going Back"
It doesn’t seem like Gronk is coming to the rescue.
When Rob Gronkowski announced his retirement last March at only 29-years-old, everyone was shocked. His young age combined with the Patriots offensive struggles this season has made rumors about his return run rampant. According to Complex, ESPN’s Michele Steele decided to ask Gronk if his close friend Tom Brady could convince him to come back on Fox NFL Sunday, this morning.
“First off, I’m saying I love the guy,” Gronk replied. “No, I’m not going back.”
While his words here are clearly definitive, he’s left the opportunity more open-ended in the past. During an interview last week with ESPN.com, Gronk admitted it’s possible that one day, he could return, just not yet: “I wouldn’t say ‘never coming back.’ I’m 30 years old. I’m young. I still stay fit, still watch the game whenever I can, still enjoy it. I’m feeling good, but you know, one year off could possibly be the case. Or maybe two years off, man. It’s always an option in the back of my head. It’s not like I’m not staying in shape and not doing anything. I’m never stressed over it.”
The Patriots next game is today at 4:25 pm against the Dallas Cowboys. While they did win last week 17-10 against the Eagles, they’ll be looking to put together a better offensive performance his time out.
Antonio Brown Patriots Rumors Shot Down Despite Recent Apology
Brown is still without a team.
Antonio Brown started the NFL season on the Oakland Raiders and after numerous wacky antics, he was released. Eventually, AB found himself on the Super Bowl-contending New England Patriots where he only got to play one game. From there, Brown was cut after some sexual assault allegations and here we are today. Brown is in the midst of being investigated by the NFL and it remains to be seen whether or not he will get to come back into the league this year.
Recently, Brown apologized to Robert Kraft for his behavior while on the Patriots and it ultimately led to some rumors that he could be welcomed back onto the team. However, a report from Jeff Howe of The Athletic has silenced these rumors, with a source close to the team saying there is no chance of this happening.
The Patriots are currently sitting at a record of 9-1 and are considered the frontrunner to win the Super Bowl. With AB on the team, they would be next to unstoppable but after how things went down earlier in the season, it seems like the bridge has already been burned. For now, Brown will have to look elsewhere for his next chance in the NFL.
Who would you like to see sign Brown to a contract?
Tom Brady Explains His Deep Rooted Hatred For The Dallas Cowboys
Patriots vs Cowboys will be interesting.
Tom Brady is 42 years old and is still playing better than many quarterbacks in the league. While much of this has to do with the offensive system where he gets away with two-yard screen passes that are carried by the talented receivers, Brady has shown people that he can still win games and that’s all that counts.
Next up on the Patriots calendar is the 6-4 Dallas Cowboys who are in a must-win situation. Meanwhile, the Patriots are sitting pretty at 9-1 and Brady will be looking to improve his record, once again. Prior to Sunday’s big game, Brady spoke to reporters about the Cowboys and how he’s always hated them, mostly because of where he grew up.
“I’ve really not liked the Cowboys since coming out of the womb as a Niner fan,” Brady said Pro Football Talk. “But, no I’ve got a lot of respect for those guys and they’ve actually had a great winning organization. They’ve got a lot of great players in their history”
Back in the 90s, the Cowboys and Niners were the league’s biggest rivals so it’s easy to see why Brady would dislike them so much. In diplomatic fashion, Brady made sure to offer some compliments but come Sunday, it will be all business.
Who do you think is going to win?
Antonio Brown Offers Ernest Apology To Robert Kraft After Patriots Drama
Brown is demonstrating some growth.
Antonio Brown has been the talk of the NFL for much of the year and his exploits/alleged exploits have been highly publicized. It’s been tough for the superstar wide receiver as he has been watching the season from the sidelines and thinking about what could have been when it comes to this season. At one point, things were looking up for AB as he was on the New England Patriots who are a favorite to win the championship. After some allegations against him came to light, Brown lost his spot with the Patriots and he has been lurking from afar ever since.
Today, Brown took to Instagram to issue an apology to Patriots owner Robert Kraft. Essentially, Brown wants to let Kraft know that he is sorry for bringing drama to the team and that he just wanted to be a valuable member of the team.
“Mr.Kraft I apologize sincerely to you and your organization!” Brown wrote. “All I wanted to be was an asset to the organization; sorry for the bad media and the drama ! Thank you sincerely AB.”
Based on this latest statement, it seems as though Brown is taking his comeback seriously and that he wants everyone to know he is remorseful about what has gone down so far. AB is one of the best wide receivers in the league and the NFL is at a disadvantage without him on the field come Sunday.
