Even though Tory Lanez spilled all the receipts, confirming that he cleared his Pretty Ricky sample and ending his feud with Spectacular, his new rival still feels a type of way over what went down.
In a new video uploaded to social media, Spectacular explains his side of the story, noting that he still feels majorly wronged by Tory Lanez and claiming to have lost over $350,000 working with the rapper.
"When I talk about stealing my record, I'm talking 'bout sampling my record," asserts Spectacular. "You put out 'Grind On Me,' not even hollering at me after we was already having conversations, and then you put out 'Yessir,' 'Your Body,' and you literally called me on the phone. You talked to me, bro! And asked me, can I get on the record for you. You told me to come to the studio in Miami. Hit Factory. I couldn't make it because I was on tour. You knew I was on tour, bro. You came to my meet and greet. And the first thing you said to me was, 'Man, you still mad at me huh? I'll just pay you back that money.' Cause you know what you did bro!"
Spectacular goes on to say that he lost $350,000 of his own money dealing with Tory Lanez. He says that the Toronto native has never made things right with him even though he agreed to clear "Yessir" for him.
"You know exactly what I'm talking about. Stop trying to fool the people," says Spectacular at the end.
Do you think Tory is in the wrong or is Spectacular overreacting?
Tory Lanez Proves Pretty Ricky’s Spectacular Wrong With Receipts
Tory Lanez proves that he cleared the Pretty Ricky samples that Spectacular claims he stole.
Pretty Ricky's Spectacular had better check his facts before he opens his mouth because, after accusing Tory Lanez of sampling the group's music without his permission, the Toronto native proved him wrong.
This weekend, Tory Lanez commented on the surprising collaboration between Akon and Tekashi 6ix9ine.
"So what y’all telling me is .... Akon gave the #LockedUpRemix / SAMPLE to someone else !?!?? And not me?!????," he said on Twitter after a preview was uploaded to social media.
Spectacular responded by telling him he should have just stolen the sample like he did with Pretty Ricky. Well, Tory had time today and he provided some receipts to The Shade Room.
Sending some documents to the publication to prove that he paid the writers and label for the "Your Body" sample on Chixtape 5, Tory Lanez got the last word on Spectacular. Apparently, Spectacular even saw a 6% cut of the money.
"Going to go back to minding my business. Y’all have a good day," wrote Tory in the comments, ending this beef.
The Canadian artist recently completed the terms of his deal with Interscope Records and is currently an independent musician. He is clearly educated on the business side of the industry, taking a few minutes to pull out the proof and schooling Spectacular.
Pretty Ricky’s Spectacular Comes For Tory Lanez: "Since You Got That New Hairline"
Spectacular calls cap on Tory Lanez and says that the artist sampled Pretty Ricky without his permission.
There was a lot of online banter after Tekashi 6ix9ine and Akon got acquainted in the studio this weekend, sharing a preview of their upcoming record “Locked Up Part 2.” Hip-hop fans are angry at Akon for collaborating with the formerly-incarcerated rapper. Styles P issued his response and so did Tory Lanez.
“So what y’all telling me is …. Akon gave the #LockedUpRemix / SAMPLE to someone else !?!?? And not me?!????” exclaimed Tory on Twitter.
This led another party to get involved, suggesting Tory should just “steal” the record like he allegedly did with a number of others.
“@torylanez you should just stole it like you did Grind On Me and Your Body. Why stop now ….. Just keeping it 2 Virgils,” said Spectacular of Pretty Ricky.
As expected, the shady reply garnered a response from Lanez.
“STOLE WHAT ??!? Actually I BOUGHT the rights from whoever signed u and publishes your music,” said Tory. “But I guess you weren’t apart of that conversation. Go stare in someone eyes and rub on someone thighs and leave me outta this one.”
Spectacular got the final word in, leaving a comment on the post.
“Ever since you got that new hairline, you been acting different,” he said. “Stop with the [cap]. Last time I checked, I owned my own masters. What type of bootleg business you running. You acting like Virgil but not keeping it 2 Virgils.”

Pleasure P says he didn’t get physical with anyone, but he did complain that he order was incorrect and food was thrown at him by Checkers staff.
The Millennium Tour 2020 is in full swing and fans are excited to see their favorite 2000s artists hit the stage once again. There wasn’t any troublesome news reported from the road until Thursday (March 5) when a story surfaced about Pretty Ricky’s Pleasure P’s arrest. NBC Miami reported that P was intoxicated at a Checkers eatery when he made his way through the drive-thru and yelled at the employee through the intercom. Then, P allegedly drove up to the window, shouted at the employee again, and then shoved money and food at the unnamed victim.
Presley Ann / Stringer / Getty ImagesPolice at the scene reportedly smelled alcohol on the singer and took statements from Pleasure P and the Checkers staff. Authorities decided to take P into custody and he’s been charged with battery. He’s since been released, and he’s taken to Instagram to deny the allegations against him.
“Yo, don’t believe the hype, Imma just tell y’all that right now,” Pleasure P said in a video clip. “Whatever they saying is not true. I’m not gonna really explain myself ’cause I don’t feel like I have to, but I’m definitely gonna look into what really happened. Y’all will be hearing the real story of what actually did take place. C’mon, y’all know I ain’t going out like that. I ain’t put my hands on no female or nothin’ crazy like that.”
The singer may have said in the video that he would talk about the incident at a later date, but he also penned a lengthy caption explaining the situation in detail. “I was wrongfully arrested, instead of checkers having better customer service and correcting my order. food was Thrown at me and the staff was very disrespectful,” he wrote. “I asked for a refund and she refused to refund me. Like anybody i became upset but not to the point where i got physical with anyone. I think me being in my position, i should have just let her keep the 60 dollars even tho my order wasn’t correct. But hey you live and you learn.” Read Pleasure P’s explanation in full below.
Pleasure P Arrested In Miami Gardens On A Battery Charge At Checkers
Singer Pleasure P was arrested in Miami Gardens on a battery charge stemming from an assault on a fast food worker at popular burger joint Checkers.
Things aren’t looking so pretty for Pleasure P today after he was arrested on a battery charge in his home state of Florida. The offense? He decided to assault a fast food worker after becoming inpatient at a Checkers drive-thru.
Allen Berezovsky/WireImageNBC Miami reports that P was taken into custody after getting checked at Checkers for starting the whole ordeal in an alleged drunken rage. The official report states that Pleasure P, real name Marcus Cooper, started his tirade at the intercom by yelling for several minutes, then proceeded to drive up to the window to yell some more before finally shoving both money and food into the victim’s chest. When policed arrived, they smelled alcohol on Copper after hearing his side of the story and proceeded to arrest him after hearing the testimonies from other Checkers employees who witnessed the attack. Although he was booked and placed in a Miami-Dade jail for an unspecified amount of time, P was later released but still faces the battery charge overall.
We hope Pleasure P can get this all situated very soon so it doesn’t affect the upcoming Pretty Ricky reunion album. Listen to their first single off the project called “Body” below:
Pretty Ricky Previews "Body" Single Ahead Of Millennium Tour 2
Pretty Ricky’s Spectacular shares snippet of the R&B group’s forthcoming single “Body” five days before the Millennium Tour kicks off.
For those that have been complaining about the current state of R&B, Pretty Ricky has answered the call. There are plenty of talented R&B artists on the scene right now, but criticisms about the genre have continued to roll in. Young M.A, K. Michelle, and Diddy are just a few people who have come forward asking for R&B to make a comeback, and for those who have been awaiting new jams from Pretty Ricky, the wait is over.
Brad Barket / Stringer / Getty ImagesOn Monday (February 24), The Shade Room shared their exclusive first listen to a new single from the singing group reportedly titled “Body.” In the clip, Pretty Ricky’s Spectacular is sitting in his car as he grooves to the song. “Got you screaming through the walls / Have the neighbors callin’ the law / Like they heard a n*ggas kill somebody / ‘Bout to do a drive-by leave you cl*t wet / Let me put the tip in get my d*ck wet,” the song says.
The naughty single seems to already be a hit with fans who are anticipating it’s impending release. The Millennium Tour 2 kicks off this Saturday (February 29) in Kentucky, so it wouldn’t be surprising if we receive”Body” in full sometime this week. Check out the clip of Pretty Ricky’s forthcoming single and let us know if you’re looking forward to it. Also, does this song remind you of another hit?
Omarion Kept Calm During Fizz & Apryl Jones Drama After "Self-[Reflecting]"
Finding his zen.
He could have acted a “damn fool” when news began to circulate that his B2K bandmate Fizz was dating the mother of his children, Apryl Jones, but Omarion gave a good reason as to why he didn’t react. “When you self-reflect and you get the opportunity to [say], ‘OK. I could go that far, but where’s the best place for me to be?”
Jesse Grant / Stringer / Getty ImagesIn a recent sit-down with Essence, the singer once again chatted about his personal growth and the controversial headlines that captured the attention of Love & Hip Hop Hollywood fans, along with the R&B and hip hop worlds, throughout 2019. While Omarion previously remained relatively silent about watching his former friend and his ex-girlfriend trash-talk him on reality television, the “Touch” singer has been making the rounds in the media, reflecting on earning his “Mr. Unbothered” title.
Essence directly asked Omarion why he opted to fly solo for the next Millennium Tour instead of once again joining with B2K, and according to the outlet, he avoided giving an answer. He did, however, say this: “I really wanted to give the fans what they’ve always wanted—that was to see us back together. I think really, stepping back and really recognizing certain things that took place—you know ’cause going back on the road, it took me back. I never really understood certain things about my career and my connection with my fans until I went back.”
Fans will be able to check out Omarion and Bow Wow reuniting on the Millennium Tour II to perform tracks from their 2007 joint project Face Off. Joining them will be Pretty Ricky, Ashanti, Lloyd, Soulja Boy, Sammie, and Ying Yang Twins. Check out his interview with Essence below.
