2 Chainz celebrated his 42nd birthday on Friday night, while also celebrating the fact that it was Friday the 13th. He threw a themed party at The Gallery at Ravine in his hometown of Atlanta, filled with Halloween-like decorations. He even wore a blacked-out Jason mask to add some extra fright to the evening. Diddy and DJ Khaled were in attendance, and TMZ captured a video of Diddy giving 2 Chainz the gift of a gold bottle of the unreleased White Grape Ciroc.
A video has now surfaced of 2 Chainz making some big announcements while standing on a stage with Diddy by his side. First and foremost, he wished himself a happy birthday and highlighted the fact that he "lived for another year". He then shares that he's "about to drop a new album" that he's "about to crack the motherf*cking ceiling" with. Before teasing the first single, "Shootout", off the album of unknown title, he then shouts out a few of the "young" and "undiscovered" artists that he said would be featured on the project. Between the punctuation of the DJ dropping 2 Chainz's "TRU" ad-lib, the Atlanta rapper lists Skooly, Cap.1, C White and some others. These artists all seem to be apart of 2 Chainz's "Toni Gang", which he also shouts out during his speech. 2 Chainz has been frequently referencing "Big Toni", so it appears he's ushering in a new persona and era of his career.
The songs that Tity Boi has been teasing lately sound amazing, so we're thrilled to hear the album is dropping soon. Also, after his last star-studded album, Rap Or Go To The League, featuring some fresh voices on this next project will be a welcomed switch-up.
NBA YoungBoy & Trippie Redd Have Some Major Heat In The Oven: Listen
YoungBoy Never Broke Again will be featured on “A Love Letter To You 4.”
Fresh off the release of his new album !, Trippie Redd has a lot planned for the remainder of his 2019 campaign. During his conversation with us last month, the Ohio-born rapper noted that he’s hard at work on a few different projects, including one that will lean more on the rock side. With a deluxe version of his most recent album on the way, blending together even more love songs, Trippie looks set on continuing that journey in the next instalment of his mixtape series A Love Letter To You. The fourth edition is on the way and Trips keeps teasing its arrival with song snippets. Today, he revealed one of the features on the tape, previewing his collaboration with YoungBoy Never Broke Again for the world to hear.
Blasting the track in the car with his homies in the backseat, Trippie Redd gave everyone a taste of what’s to come. The song has him exploring new heights with his voice, singing a powerful hook before NBA YoungBoy enters with his street-savvy bars. We’ve got to admit, it’s nice to hear YB back on record. After spending a few months behind bars, he’s still laying low on house arrest. For the next year, YoungBoy will likely be very quiet but he is allowed to drop music, hence why we’re hearing this snippet.
Are you feeling this? If so, keep an eye out for A Love Letter To You 4.
Blueface Previews New Music With Ridiculous Videos: Donuts, Bussdowns & Racks
Blueface fools around with props and plays a couple of new songs for the fans.
One of the hottest new rappers on the scene this year has been Blueface. After signing to Cash Money West, the Los Angeles-based recording artist has seriously seen his career skyrocket. “Thotiana” is one of the biggest songs of the entire year and, although it has been critiqued strongly by his naysayers, his latest EP actually contains some solid tracks. You get what you expect out of Blueface. Nobody is expecting him to revolutionize the world with conscious lyrics and virtuoso musicality. Still though, his talent has been on display in the past and his marketing potential is off the hook. If you’ve already grown tired of the music he has on streaming services, you’ll be happy to hear that he’s already planning out his next moves, starting off with a couple of song previews.
This weekend, Blueface decided to come through with some good news for his fans. He will soon be dropping new tunes and instead of keeping everyone in the dark regarding his progression as an artist, he’s showing everyone exactly what they can expect.
Following up on the success of his track “Gang,” where he sings more than he raps, Blueface previewed the first song of two where he clearly feels more of an emotional vibe. In the video, he wears four watches at once, a ton of jewelry around his neck, and pulls out his signature eyebrow pose. The next snippet was published moments ago, featuring the star with a donut in one hand, rapping about a donut shop.

REZZ Debuts Major New Collab Live In Seattle [VIDEO]
Rezz only just dropped her latest EP, Beyond the Senses, back in July and she’s already out here teasing more new music. At a performance in Seattle on Sunday, she debuted her collaboration with Yultron for the very first time.
She first revealed the existence of the collab on Twitter, a full month before her EP came out. It’s been a little over two months since then, and only just now has she played it out for the first time.
The unreleased — and still untitled — collab is a bit bouncier for Rezz’s style, no doubt due to Yultron.
No word yet on when this one might be out — stay tuned for more info!
Unreleased track with @yultron
Played for the first time lastnight 🙂 https://t.co/EKyWUR2li9
