After 3 Years One of Dance Music's Best Super-Groups Is Getting Back Together
Reunions in EDM are a rare breed, but we’re lucky to have another big reunion coming soon: house duo Deep Dish is returning for one show in Ibiza.
Comprising Dubfire and Sharam, Deep Dish will play a special reunion show at the nightclub Pacha in Ibiza tomorrow, July 13. The Deep Dish show will feature as part of Hot Since 82’s Labyrinth residency series at Pacha. This year also marks the 20 year anniversary since Deep Dish first played Ibiza, adding a poetic touch to the reunion.
Deep Dish is one of the most well known duos in the underground scene. Deep Dish generated crossover appeal in the early 2000s before splitting up in 2006, when Dubfire and Sharam went on to pursue solo careers. The duo briefly reunited in 2014 and 2015, playing gigs and festival sets at events such as Ultra Music Festival.

EDM's Biggest DJs React To Swedish House Mafia's Reunion
Five years ago, Swedish House Mafia made their grand exit from the dance music world. The members went on to do their own thing, and the industry thrived in their absence. Yesterday, those three legends – Axwell, Steve Angello, and Sebastian Ingrosso – reunited for the first time to once again grace the same stage upon which they said their goodbyes.
While we had our eyes and tens thousands more were there in person witnessing history, thousands more were keeping their Twitter fingers busy sharing their thoughts.

Gucci Mane Adds Extra Incentive For A Young Thug & Rich Homie Quan Reunion
Young Thug and Rich Homie Quan have somewhat a complicated history. While Thugger has arguably created some his best work alongside RHQ, the two disowned each other as "brothers" following the Rich Gang split. While Thug has enjoyed solo success, Rich Homie seemingly fell out the public eye altogether before dropping his latest album Rich As In Spirit. The two looked to be over their previous working relationship, going their separate ways until London on da Track attempted to facilitate a reunion between the former Rich Gang members.
While Thug and Quan both kept quiet over London's attempt at a Quan and Thug reconciliation, the most recent advance made by Gucci Mane will be harder to ignore. Gucci tweeted, "I got a million cash for @RichHomieQuan and @youngthug to do one mixtape at the brand new #PolarBearStudios #NoCap 12songs from scratch]! #NoCap brrr!!!" While the prospect a new Rich Homie collaboration with Young Thug is extremely exciting, it's unclear how realistic a reunion is for the two Atlanta rappers. If the two don't patch things up to split a million dollars, their relationship is likely irreparable.
Could a Rich Gang reunion finally be happening? Fans both artists would undoubtedly be stoked for the project as both have fully thrived when working with the other. We'll keep an eye on both Young Thug and Rich Homie Quan's socials and provide updates as they become available.
50 Cent Previews Track With Young Buck, Hints At G-Unit Project
50 Cent posted a promo clip yesterday on his IG account, with the caption '?New Music coming soon?' giving us cause for excitement. It's been 3 years since the group has provided us with a cohesive project. I'm not including unreleased materials, but like a real group outing, hands in a circle.
It's entirely possible that 50 Cent and Lloyd Banks were toying with the public this month. Rappers don't really retire from their act, they might fade into obsolescence but practicing the arts is more métier than job, and Lloyd is only half-sprung to begin with.
The video that 50 posted depicted a group gathering at night, with Young Buck giving daps to those in attendance. The camera then cuts to the Nashville skyline, helping us deduce who's at play and where. Young Buck then breaks out in song:
"so i gotta keep rolling, i'm acting like i don't know 'em
stop talking just them 'em
no way we gon lose
they gon be praying that you lose
they gon be sayin' that you're through"
The video closes with an older gentleman making an allusion to a G-Unit project being in the finishing stages production. Somebody get Yayo on the line, we can salvage this blood feud once and for all. Put 'em up in a Big Brother house and let them cook.
Young Thug & Jerrika Appear To Be Back Together
No one ever ever shouted #RelationshipGoals in reference to on-again, f-again couple Young Thug & Jerrika Karlae. With that being said, it's not fair to pass judgement. When Thugger called for next baby, he was pointing at Jerrika, and when he's on the road, his mind probably drifts towards Jerrika, or at the very least, the gratifying moments they shared together. For as long as we can remember they've been ficially broken up, until now so it seems.
This morning Jerrika posted a picture the star-crossed lovers in a warm embrace on her Instagram Storyboard. Thugger can be seen going in for the kiss, while Jerrika holds the camera up to his face. Thugger's left hand teases her waistband. Jerrika wears a ring on the fourth finger her left hand, the engagement finger in case you were wondering. Some folks buck the trend, there's no way knowing.
It appears they've decided to at least make amends, probably a little more than that, we can deduce that much from the post. Maybe they're just taking a stroll down memory lane, one weekend only. It's wasn't that long ago that rumours his cheating led to her calling things f. The situation even escalated to a point where Thugger even threatened 'her life.' Never the less Thugger has been pretty adamant in his pursuit reconciliation. It looks as if his wishes have come true.
Birdman Announces Big Tymers Single With Mannie Fresh
Birdman and Mannie Fresh have long hinted at a reunion. It seems our patience has finally been rewarded, as The Big Tymers are set to release a new single on friday, after years apart. Their hiatus has been spelled out to us as a pressional retreat. They have none the less maintained a close friendship over the years.
The Cash Money mogul took to Instagram to announce the single, named "Designer Caskets." The post also made mention an April 6/7 release for the video. It seems they are really banking on the legend card. The pair has not performed or recorded since 2005, with Birdman successfully becoming the man behind the mask. To his credit, Birdman knows a thing or two about staging a coup, as you might recall.
Birdman has long controlled the narrative the Cash Money story from its humble beginnings, and yet no retelling is truthful without handing credit over to Mannie Fresh for helping personify their brand from an artistic perspective. Birdman for his part, carried out their business strategy, while passing as a rapper, albeit just barely. We'll have to wait and see if the duo have rediscovered their magic after years apart.
Holy Sh*t… Hardwell Says Swedish House Mafia Is Reuniting for Ultra!
Tons fans across the globe are convinced that Swedish House Mafia will take the stage at Ultra Music Festival‘s 20th anniversary — even artists like The Chainsmokers are . More recently, it’s come out that Hardwell is hyped on this theory, too.
In a recent interview, the UMF act speaks about all things Miami, including the reunion show everyone is hoping for. Hardwell says point-blank he believes Swedish House Mafia will be there.
“…the deciding factor for me was that Steve Angello, one the three members SHM, canceled his Asia tour out the blue, suddenly doesn’t have any shows planned, and he is in Miami,” Hardwell . “For me, this means that it has to happen.”
Hardwell is scheduled to play Ultra Miami’s Main Stage this Friday from 8:50 – 9:50 pm. Hopefully he sticks around all weekend to see who the special guests end up being — and let’s hope he’s right.

Are Young Thug & Rich Homie Quan Reuniting Thanks To London On Da Track?
Rich Gang, consisting Young Thug, Rich Homie Quan, and Birdman disbanded in 2014 as RHQ wanted to focus on his solo career. Following the dissolution the group, Young Thug's career took f as he became one the most electric artists in the hip-hop genre, and Rich Homie has had difficulty connecting with the community on a larger scale. Thug appeared to disown RHQ following their falling out, starting "F-ck Rich Homie" chants at his shows before playing their joint hit "Lifestyle." Their beef was well-documented and it appeared unlikely that the two would ever make music together again.
While the extent their current relationship is unknown, they may be on better terms according to London On Da Track's most recent Instagram post. Tha Tour Part 1 made Thug and Quan fans crave future collaborations and we may be getting a taste what a 2018 collab between RHQ and Thugger would sound like. Thug's go-to producer London On Da Track shared a photo the rapper in the studio, with a caption that got Rich Gang fans hyped. "Something special, mite gotta call Quan," wrote the producer.
Some would argue that Thug released his best work while Rich Homie Quan was his sidekick. Whether or not the two are actually planning a Rich Gang reunion is up in the air. If they do indeed link up, it would likely be a one-f thing.
Swedish House Mafia Insider Insists Ultra Reunion Is Actually Happening
With all the Swedish House Mafia reunion hype, rumors, and shut downs — we really don’t know what to believe anymore. Ultra Miami‘s 20th anniversary is just around the corner and it seems like we’re going to be guessing up until the last moment when the special guests are revealed.
That is, unless this lighting guy by the name Charly Bendenoun is really serious about this recent post on social media. Next to a photo SHM, his message below translates to: “They will be back next weekend at Ultra Miami (except the 4th left in the picture).”
The music pressional has worked with Axwell and other big names like Martin Garrix, Carl Cox, and Tiësto. It’s quite possible he’s just playing with us — but why though? He’s putting his career in jeopardy over spilling a secret just a few days too early, or else this is one highly elaborate ruse.
What do you think? We’ll know for sure the surprises Ultra’s 20th anniversary has in store this Sunday! Make sure you check back with us this weekend for the live stream and real time updates!

"Jersey Shore: Family Vacation" Official Trailer Features Original Cast
Jersey Shore was a cultural phenomenon that introduced the world to some pretty iconic blowouts, constant fist-pumping, as well as the ubiquitous term GTL. Clearly audiences have been yearning for a reboot, as MTV recently premiered the ficial trailer for Jersey Shore: Family Vacation.
The upcoming series will feature the show's original cast members including: Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, Jenni "JWOWW" Farley, Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino, Paul "Pauly D" Delvecchio, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Deena Nicole Cortese, as well as Vinny Guadagnino.
In the sneak-preview, Ronnie admits that "we’re older, but I don’t think many us are wiser," a statement which many can agree with after witnessing the ensuing montage familiar gags including the usual drunken mishaps.
Since the show ended, the cast has experienced parenthood, marriage, and even some legal drama including tax-evasion charges. However, the iconic crew is clearly not done with their hard-partying ways that made for some extraordinary TV moments in the past (who could forget Snooki's infamous beach arrest.)
The series is slated to premiere at 8 p.m. on April 5. In the weeks leading up to its debut, the network will air four Road to Vacation specials that will highlight the show's most memorable moments, and will also include interviews with the cast.
Peep the trailer below:
