Migos rapper Offset believes that if you make the right money moves, then one day you, too, may be able to flex your finances. Last month, Cardi B shared a series of videos to her Instagram Story that showed her and husband Offset's massive car collection. It became obvious that when it comes to enjoying the fruits of their labors, the pair don't skimp out.
Recently, the Atlanta rapper was featured on the latest episode of Complex's "Sneaker Shopping," a series where the publication films artists (and the like) shopping for kicks. Offset shared with Complex that he's easily spent a million dollars on shoes as he looked for new footwear at Los Angeles's Flight Club retail store. In the last two months alone, the rapper said that he's dropped $100K, and during his "Sneaker Shopping" episode, he coolly spent $31K.
A Twitter user shared a clip of Offset spending stacks on his new sneaker additions and lamented, "This n*gga Offset spent my college tuition on shoes like it’s nothing :(." Offset had some words of encouragement, or wisdom, for the fan, and he responded to them by saying, "Safe ya money n you can do the same."
The rapper's reply has been interpreted in two ways on social media: he misspelled the word "save" or he was telling the person to put their money in a safe. Take it for what you will, but either way, if you're saving $30K to spend on 27 pairs of shoes, more power to you. Check out a handful of Twitter responses to Offset's advice below.
Giannis Antetokounmpo Reveals He Owns Around 4,000 Pairs Of Shoes
The Greek Freak has quite a few storage units.
This past NBA season, Giannis Antetokounmpo cemented himself as one of the best players in the league. His hard work paid off as he was given the Most Valuable Player award and even received his own signature shoe with Nike called the Zoom Freak 1. Giannis’ profile continues to rise and over the next few years, it’s clear that he will slowly but surely develop into the best player in the league. The Milwaukee Bucks are lucky to have him and are favorites in the Eastern Conference thanks to his services.
In a recent interview with Rachel Nichols, the Greek Freak spoke about his newest Nike shoe and how much it means to him. During the conversation, Giannis talked about how he used to share sneakers with his brothers although now, he doesn’t have to do such a thing. In fact, Giannis revealed that he now owns 4,000 pairs of shoes.
“I got a shoe closet. It’s a big room. In there is probably around 300, 400. But I got a large storage unit that I have in my house, and I have a lot of shoes in Greece also,” Giannis explained.
As he continues with his NBA career, his collection will surely grow so he’ll probably have to cop some new units very soon. As sneakerheads though, it’s hard to feel bad for a guy with pretty much every shoe you could ever want at his fingertips.
Curren$y Reveals His Insane Sneaker Collection In New IG Post
This is just a “fraction” of his collection.
It’s well established at this point that Curren$y is very much like Wale in the sense that he’s a sneakerhead rapper. Whenever you see Curren$y out and about, he can be found wearing some pretty dope kicks and he usually switches them up quite often. With this in mind, it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise that he has a pretty humongous sneaker collection with a wide variety of styles and brands to choose from.
Today, the rapper took to his Instagram page where he posted a photo flexing what appears to be dozens of pairs of sneakers. Among the rows of shoes are Air Jordan’s, Nike’s, Adidas, Reebok, and even some Bapestas in the lower left-hand corner. Curren$y explained in his caption that there is a lot more where that came from as he said “Just a fraction.”
As more and more releases make their way to the market, it’s a safe bet that Curren$y will be adding to his collection and making all of us sneakerheads out there insanely jealous. We can’t blame him though as there is just way too much heat on the market to pass up.
If you could have any pair of shoes from this picture, what would you choose?
