Kendrick Perkins has been known to be quite harsh on some of today's young stars. As a former player, Perkins knows what it takes to be successful in the NBA. Even if he didn't have the greatest career, Perkins played with his fair share of superstars and knows exactly what those guys did in order to be the best. This knowledge has given him quite a bit of credibility when it comes to criticizing current players. In the past, his Lonzo Ball comments have gained quite a bit of traction as he described the former second overall pick as a "bust."
Lonzo has been playing quite well as of late and Perkins has taken notice. Recently, the NBA analyst took to Twitter where he apologized to Lonzo and walked back all of the slander he's dished out in the past.
"One thing about me is that I’m not scared to admit when I’m wrong and my apologies to Lonzo Ball because I made it my duty to watch this Jazz at Pelicans game tonight and I’ve been watching him very closely and he is a special talent for damn show and he’s balling," Perkins wrote.
It remains to be seen whether or not Lonzo can sustain this success although it would be dope to see him do so. The league is more exciting when young stars are showcasing their talents and Lonzo has a real opportunity to lead that charge.
NGHTMRE & SLANDER Reveal Their First Original Collab In 4 Years
Despite their signature back-to-back Gud Vibrations sets, NGHTMRE and Slander (surprisingly) haven’t put out any new music together for years. But, that’s all about to change!
Slander reveals in a new tweet they have already checked off new music with their favorite collaborator in 2020. Together they have released a handful of collaborations, including their massive hit “Gud Vibrations,” which they packaged together for the Nuclear Bonds EP.
“It’s been almost 4 years since we released new music together,” NGHTMRE states in the post below. “The wait is finally over!! #FeelingGud” — the hashtag could very well hint at a track title.
The Gud Vibrations excitement doesn’t stop there. One of the first announcements for Ultra Miami 2020 was the announcement of the label’s stage takeover. With this and a new collaboration up their sleeves, NGHTMRE and Slander are on pace to have an unstoppable 2020.

FIRST LISTEN: SLANDER Debut Gorgeous New Collab with Jason Ross On NYE
The decade might be over, but time stops for no man! As we move into 2020, we’re already hearing clips of new music to look forward to, including this collaboration between SLANDER and Jason Ross played at Decadence Colorado on New Year’s Eve.
Titled “Better Than Heaven,” the song begins with some soft male vocals before bringing out SLANDER’s iconic heaven trap sound. With Jason Ross in the mix, the drop also gets some trance/melodic energy that rounds out the sound and really takes it up to the next level.
No word yet on when this is coming out except “coming soon” from SLANDER, but bet we’ll be keeping an eye out for it. Check out the clip below.
