Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon recently linked up with Complex's Joe La Puma at Flight Club's New York City location for a brand new episode of "Sneaker Shopping," during which the comedian dished on his most memorable sneaker-related moments, Hasan Minhaj's influence on his sneaker game, and the time he kissed Michael Jordan on the lips.
Speaking on the latter, Fallon recalled how the incident took place at a charity golf outing years ago.
“I had a very awkward run-in with Michael Jordan. I was at a golf charity event with [Derek] Jeter, and so I was playing with those guys. … We were at some nightclub at the end of the night, and Derek’s like, ‘Hey Jimmy, do you know Michael?’ “
He continued, “And I go, ‘Yeah, I know you.’ And I went to say what’s up, and I went to give him a kiss on the cheek and he went to give me a kiss on this cheek and we both like kissed on the lips.”

In regards to the sneaker culture growing up in Canada, Tory recalled how people were actually killed over the popular “Cool Grey” and “Bred” Air Jordan 11 releases because there was such a limited stock. As a result of the extremely scarce supply of Air Jordans north of the border, copping those kicks, as well as other popular styles, proved to be that much more difficult than it was for the neighbors in the U.S.
At the end of their interview, the Toronto native walked out with nearly $6K in new sneakers, including the colorful Sacai x Nike LDWaffle, “Volt” Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Low and a fresh pair of “Black/Infrared” Air Jordan 6s. French Montana Addresses Drake’s Shot At Kanye West On "No Stylist"
You think this whole thing is gonna blow over soon?
Drake and Kanye West's relationship has taken several messy turns over the past year or so. Kanye has publicly expressed his hurt over the subtle jabs that Drake has taken at him on songs, even though Drake rarely went for blood and more so just quipped about their relative wealth. Things started going downhill when Drizzy boasted that he has a bigger pool than Ye on "Summer Sixteen". Then there was the "Sicko Mode" line about "checks over stripes" that references Ye's affiliation with Adidas. The trilogy of petty shots was completed with Drake's feature on French Montana's "No Stylist" when he said, "Keepin it G, I told her don't wear no 350s 'round me," mocking a model of Yeezy sneakers.
While Kanye has addressed these shots multiple times on Twitter and in interviews, French Montana is now weighing in on the seemingly ongoing beef. While appearing on Complex's "Sneaker Shopping", French said, "Brothers always fight, and I feel like that's what they was going through at the moment. They live next door to each other. I just felt like they was brothers and they was fighting. I fight with my brothers all the time." So, according to French, the feud should blow over shortly once the two realize how important they are to each other.
French Montana's third studio album, Montana, is set to release this month. While a release date or tracklist have not been shared yet, Montana will likely include French's recent singles with Gunna ("Suicide Doors"), and Cardi B and Post Malone ("Writing on the Wall").
Kevin Gates Recalls Painful Music Video Shoot On "Sneaker Shopping"
“Want me to tell you the truth? I’m half man, half amazing.” – Kevin Gates
Kevin Gates is in such a cheerful mood these days that any new content with him is greatly welcomed. He has opened up like a book, eager to share anecdotes from his personal life and spread motivational messages. You can read about his inspiring self-transformation in our latest digital cover story with him. You could also watch his appearance on Complex‘s “Sneaker Shopping” to catch a glimpse of the new Gates. While rappers usually ball out on this show and buy a ridiculous amount of sneakers, Gates had a rather restrained purchase that only entailed two pairs of shoes from the Off White x Nike collaboration and two Supreme hats.
In this episode, the Baton Rouge rapper recalls the time he went to a Nike store, realized he had tried on Odell Beckham Jr.’s shoe, FaceTimed the football player and then proceeded to buy all the pairs they had in his size. He also mentions how he “almost died” while shooting the music video for “Push It”. The video shows him doing a series of strenuous physical activities, one being a long run in the streets. He divulged how he didn’t wear any socks while doing the run in order for his appearance to be continuous with that of his stunt double. So when Gates said he “almost died”, he meant he acquired some blisters on his feet. Either way, you gotta appreciate the dedication.

Aaron Paul Reveals The Items He Stole From The "Breaking Bad" Set

Aaron Paul recently paid a visit to Stadium Goods in New York City for a new episode of “Sneaker Shopping” with Complex’s Joe La Puma, where he discussed all things sneakers and Breaking Bad, including some of the iconic items he stole from the set.
For instance, Paul says he kept some of Jesse Pinkman’s memorable gear from Breaking Bad and El Camino, as well as the pink teddy bear and the Los Pollos Hermanos truck doors. Despite all of the dope shit he took home from the set, Paul says he was prohibited from keeping the one thing he really wanted – the pair of Nikes that Jesse wore in the early episodes.
La Puma and Paul also broke down his love for Vans and Converse, Jesse’s style, Walter White’s Wallabees, and his Price Is Right appearance many years ago. Check out the full episode in the video embedded below.
PJ Tucker Explains How He Secured The Super Rare "Cheetah" Yeezys: Watch
Tucker says we might see the “Grammy” Air Yeezy 1 on the court this season.
The NBA’s reigning sneaker king, Houston Rockets forward PJ Tucker, recently linked up with Complex’s Joe La Puma at Flight Club’s New York City location for an all-new episode of Sneaker Shopping.
During his latest visit to Flight Club, Tucker shed some light on the exclusive “Cheetah” Nike Air Yeezy IIs that he recently laced up, explaining how his longtime friend put him on to the super exclusive sneakers. Additionally, Tucker says that same friend has a line on the “Grammy” Nike Air Yeezy 1s, and there’s a chance we’ll see them in a game this season.
The “Cheetah” Nike Air Yeezy II was allegedly given to Kobe Bryant in 2012, which makes sense considering the “Cheetah” colorway is inspired by the Nike Kobe 7 of the same name. Rumors maintain that the sneakers were gifted to Kobe for the NBA All Star festivities that year, although he ended up wearing the “Galaxy” Kobe 7.
In addition to his ultra rare Yeezys, Tucker also discussed his sneaker free agency, his top five everyday wear sneakers and much more. Check out the full episode below.

Born in 2002, NLE Choppa is one of the youngest members of the hip-hop community. Offset Tells Fan To "Safe" Money So That They Can Flex Like He Does
Not everyone can ball out like a millionaire rapper.
Migos rapper Offset believes that if you make the right money moves, then one day you, too, may be able to flex your finances. Last month, Cardi B shared a series of videos to her Instagram Story that showed her and husband Offset's massive car collection. It became obvious that when it comes to enjoying the fruits of their labors, the pair don't skimp out.
Recently, the Atlanta rapper was featured on the latest episode of Complex's "Sneaker Shopping," a series where the publication films artists (and the like) shopping for kicks. Offset shared with Complex that he's easily spent a million dollars on shoes as he looked for new footwear at Los Angeles's Flight Club retail store. In the last two months alone, the rapper said that he's dropped $100K, and during his "Sneaker Shopping" episode, he coolly spent $31K.
A Twitter user shared a clip of Offset spending stacks on his new sneaker additions and lamented, "This n*gga Offset spent my college tuition on shoes like it’s nothing :(." Offset had some words of encouragement, or wisdom, for the fan, and he responded to them by saying, "Safe ya money n you can do the same."
The rapper's reply has been interpreted in two ways on social media: he misspelled the word "save" or he was telling the person to put their money in a safe. Take it for what you will, but either way, if you're saving $30K to spend on 27 pairs of shoes, more power to you. Check out a handful of Twitter responses to Offset's advice below.
