We're going to need our friends in the South to step forward and confirm this one for us. As COVID-19 turns America's cities into ghost towns and supermarkets are finding it difficult to keep up with the demands of the public, residents are coming up with inventive ways to make their money stretch. Whether they're cutting back on using certain items or creating ways to cut corners, people are doing the most with what they have.

Former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee shared a tweet on Friday (March 20) that stopped Twitter in its tracks. The conservative politician, pastor, and Huckabee talk show host took to social media to share his advice on what to do just in case you find yourselves wanting toilet paper. "Those of us from rural south know how to handle toilet paper shortage," the Hope, Arkansas native shared. "Eat more corn on the cob! The corn isn't important, but the cobs are free and work great! (Just don't flush them!) You're welcome!"
As people debated whether the former governor was joking or giving real advice about the COVID-19 toilet paper shortage, one Southerner dittoed Mike Huckabee and shared that they were familiar with the practice. "That's exactly what my great grandad did who was a self sustained farmer in Missouri," one person wrote. "These cry babies out there don't realize people used their brains and creativity during the great depression." Check out a few mixed responses below.
Yung Joc & Fiancée Argue Over Her Wanting Him To Undergo Vasectomy
Yung Joc already has eight kids by four baby mamas, so his fianceé Kendra Robinson wants him to have a vasectomy.
When it was revealed on Love & Hip Hop Atlanta that Yung Joc had a girlfriend, people didn't know what to expect. However, his friends and fans were more than accepting of Kendra Robinson, an attorney. In March 2019, Yung Joc and Kendra got engaged and back in January, the rapper told Tiffany Pollard that he'd even tattooed his fiancée's name on his penis.
However, having the name "Kendra" inked alongside his genitals isn't quite enough for his lady. On a recent episode of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta, Joc and Kendra visited a physician because she wants him to get a vasectomy. The rapper reportedly has eight children—including two sets of twins—with four different women, and it doesn't look like Kendra wants to add her name to the list of baby mamas, married or not.
In the clip, Yung Joc and Kendra are in the doctor's office as the rapper makes it clear that he's not comfortable with having a vasectomy. "I feel like it's selfish," Kendra said in the green screen interview. "If you really love me, if you really want to consider my body, my mind, my soul, and the longevity of our relationship, then you will at least put forth some type of effort. I feel like maybe's he's getting cold feet."
Back at the doctor's office, she seems irritated that Joc doesn't want to go through with the procedure. "How 'bout you do it," he said. Kendra then questions him over wanting more children and criticized Yung Joc over not having time for all of the kids he currently has. The comment angered the rapper, and the exchange soon circulated on social media where fans slammed Kendra for putting pressure on her soon-to-be husband. Check out the clip and a few responses below.
Drake Gets Dragged For Disrespecting Baby Mama On New Song
Drake calling his baby mama a "fluke" on "When To Say When" draws strong disapproval.
When Drake hops on a track, he can get brutal and honest - most of the time he's brutally honest. That's especially the case when he drops a loosie freestyle. This past Saturday night saw the arrival of two of these: "When To Say When" and "Chicago Freestyle". On the former, Drake said something that had listeners perplexed and disturbed:
"Baby mama fluke, but I love her for who she is"
In May of 2018, amidst the heat of Drake's famous beef with Pusha T, it was revealed that Drake was "hiding a child." On his diss track "The Story of Adidon", Push exposed Drake for having a son with a mystery woman who was later identified as Sophie Brussaux. Some speculated that the Toronto rapper was keeping this information a secret because he was embarrassed about impregnating a woman with whom he didn't have a serious relationship. Drake has since addressed the situation on various Scorpion songs and now he has provided another commentary, which is rubbing people the wrong way.
While Drake may have just referred to his baby mama as a "fluke" because the pregnancy was not planned, listeners are interpreting the line as more derogatory than that. One Twitter critic suggested that Drake rapping "Brought a few Ws to the 6ix" before the "fluke" line could be placing the mother of his child in contrast to the other fine women he has brought home. Others are crediting his remark to Future's bad influence.

Whitney Houston Hologram Concert Criticized After Tour Begins
Whitney Houston passed away eight years ago, and some fans are accusing her estate of using this tour as a way to cash in.
Eight years after the world lost powerhouse vocalist Whitney Houston, fans are receiving an opportunity to see her live once again. The late singer lost her life to an overdose during the weekend of the Grammy Awards back in 2012, and recently, her estate has shared that they were planning to use her hologram in a live show. The string of concerts launched this week, and a preview of the digital Whitney has some fans sharing their ire with the show.
The “An Evening With Whitney: The Whitney Houston Hologram Tour” kicked off in England on Tuesday (February 25) and fans watched as the hologram of the singer sang hits like "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" and "Greatest Love of All." While the concert has been teased for some time by Pat Houston, the executor of Whitney's estate, fans are now vocalizing their disapproval of the tour.
According to disgruntled fans, this attempt at a hologram tour is nothing more than a way to cash in. "This is an artist who ... did not always seem in control of her image, or her sound, or her finances," said @jasonkingsays. "Now there is this potential that she's being exploited all over again."
Check out the Whitney Houston hologram in action in addition to a few reactions below. Also, let us know if you think the look of the hologram resembles the singer.
The Weeknd "After Hours" Single Has Fans Hitting Repeat
Listeners are sensing some Trilogy vibes and they're loving it.
Yesterday, The Weeknd surprised us with the cover art for his fourth studio album, After Hours. It features a headshot of the bloody-faced character that he has been channeling in the previous singles' music videos. Along with this reveal, the Toronto artist teased that the project's third single would be arriving later that evening. Lo and behold, the After Hours title track is in our possession and we know the rest of the album will arrive on March 20.
After giving "After Hours" its first spins since its midnight release, fans are reacting very favorably. Many have reported that they are stuck with the song on loop, as one play of the six-minute epic is still not enough to satisfy their cravings. Another common observation being made is that "After Hours" gives off similar vibes to The Weeknd's beloved mixtape trilogy: House of Balloons, Thursday, and Echoes of Silence. While this new offering is certainly more upbeat, the slow-burn intro and the brooding outro post-beat switch have people reminiscing about the Abel they first grew to love.
What do you think of "After Hours"? Are you feeling optimistic about the album? The tweeters below definitely are.

Summer Walker Gets Heat Over Reported HIV Insult On Instagram
Summer Walker recently had an item stolen on a flight so she insulted the unknown thief by mentioning HIV.
Since 1981, the human immunodeficiency virus have been one of the most feared diagnoses. In the early days, HIV was primarily found among homosexual men and intravenous drug users. In the decades that have followed, HIV affects people from all walks of life and ethnic backgrounds worldwide. We've learned more about the virus and how to combat its effects, and organizations have done their best to dismantle the reported misinformation surrounding HIV. However, Summer Walker made a comment recently that people claim fed into that stigma and they took to social media to call out the singer.

"Who ever stole my laptop off that la flight last night can suck a fat stankin uncercumsized HIV infested d*ck," Summer wrote on her Instagram Story. It didn't take long for the public to respond, especially those who are living with HIV. Activist Dana White is HIV positive, and his response to Summer's recent remarks went viral on Monday (February 17).
"I’ve been living with HIV since Summer Walker was 11 years old and longer than her career will last. My immune system is stronger than her live performances. Good morning," Write penned. "HIV stigma is usually not something people are interested in unlearning until the virus impacts them directly. Summer Walker’s words were offensive, yes, but also sad because 1 in 48 Black women may be diagnosed in their lifetime."
The singer has yet to respond to the backlash, but people still sounded off online. Check out her Instagram post and a few reactions below.
Kanye West Disappoints By Not Joining Chance The Rapper For Halftime Show
Kanye West was rumored to be performing with Chance The Rapper during the NBA All-Star Game halftime show.
Not long before Chance the Rapper commenced his NBA All-Star Game halftime show on Sunday night (Feb. 16), a photo circulated the web that showed the microphones reserved backstage for the big performance. The mics were stored in their own individual boxes with labels indicating the artists that would supposedly be singing into them soon: Chance, Quavo, DJ Khaled, Lil Wayne, Justin Bieber and Kanye West.
Quavo and DJ Khaled ended up coming out for "I'm The One". Lil Wayne joined Chance for the Coloring Book cut, "No Problem", which still brings immense joy to this day. Even though 2 Chainz was in the building, unfortunately, he didn't hop onstage to contribute his verse. However, this wasn't the omission that had Twitter complaining. After all, 2 Chainz was never rumored to perform. Kanye, on the other hand, was.
The fact that Kanye was sitting front row between Kim Kardashian and J. Cole made fans all the more furious that he didn't emerge for "Ultralight Beam". Ye and Chance being two of Chicago's brightest stars would have also made a joint performance a nice gift for their hometown, where the game was hosted. Regardless, Chance gave viewers shivers by rapping his own standout verse from the TLOP track. Bieber was presumably slated to come out for "I'm The One", but there were no signs of him even being in the building. I suppose both Ye and Biebs only committed to being game-time decisions.
Check out the disappointed Twitter reactions regarding Kanye's halftime show absence below.

Private messages between the New York rapper and a photographer have gone viral after director Paris Marley shared a few images from a recent event with Pop Smoke. After posting the pictures, the rapper apparently DM'd Paris asking for the photos to be taken down.
"Yo you trynna disrespect me cuz why you posting pics like this of me," the rapper reportedly wrote. Paris didn't understand what Pop Smoke meant but told the rapper if he didn't like them, he'd take them down. "Take it down homie," Smoke wrote. "Don't ever try and play me like that." Jim Carrey Under Fire For Saying Reporter Was On His Bucket List
Jim Carrey catches heat for saying "Just you" to female reporter who asked him if there was anything else on his bucket list.
What was intended to be a joke by Jim Carrey made the actor the target of the internet. The comedic actor stars in the recently released film Sonic the Hedgehog, and lately, Carrey has been making his way through the press circuit to promote the movie. He sat down with Heat and talked about the film with their host Charlotte and a brief moment during the four-minute segment became the talk of social media.

At one point, Charlotte asked, "I know your film Sonic has a bucket list, and I was wondering after all you've done in your career and your life, is there anything still left on your bucket list?" Carrey quipped, "Just you. That's it. It's all done now." Charlotte looked surprised before he chuckled and replied, "I don't know what to say to that." As he laughed, Carrey said, "Just own it."
The interview then moved on as normal, but many viewers chastised Carrey as they called his remarks inappropriate. Others came to the entertainer's defense, calling the backlash "fake outrage" with claims that he was talking about an interview with her being on his bucket list, not having sex with her. Check out a few reactions, along with the interview, below.
TMZ Catches Heat For Allegedly Mocking Korean "Parasite" Cast For Not Speaking English
The outlet has been under heavy criticism lately.
Entertainment gossip outlet TMZ has been inciting anger from the public lately. Weeks ago, TMZ was the first to report that Kobe Bryant has perished in a helicopter crash. Later, police would hold a press conference where they called out the outlet for sharing the news before authorities were able to contact the families involved. The public backlash was swift, but Harvey Levin insisted that he received Vanessa Bryant's approval.

Following the historic Academy Awards on Sunday (February 9), TMZ has ensnared themselves in drama once again now that they're being accused of mocking the Korean production and cast of Parasite. The South Korean film took home four wins, including Best Picture, and TMZ cameraman attempted to speak with them after the ceremony.
However, because they don't speak English, communication was difficult. The cast avoided the questions or politely smiled and walked away, but the voiceover actor comedically delivered the line: "Now that you have got the fancy Oscars, you think you are too good to talk to us? You shallow, selfish, entitled."
Then, the voiceover actor called Byeongkwan and Jun of KPOP group A.C.E. members of BTS and the mixup made people lose their minds. The public accused the outlet of racism and stereotyping Asians, and people made sure to let their opinions be heard. Check out the clip from TMZ and a few reactions below.
