Deemed one of the most important hip-hop songs of the last decade by Rolling Stone, Big Sean's "Control" changed the world. Kendrick Lamar had a huge hand in making the track so noteworthy, calling out a number of high-profile rappers to challenge him and take the crown. The track arguably made him the favorite on Top Dawg Entertainment, cementing him as one of the best rappers in the world.
In the track, the Los Angeles rapper calls himself the King of New York, which did not sit well with a number of stars from the city. The track was so impactful that it is still causing rumors to break out today.

A story has been going around that J. Cole and Diddy got into a physical fight at a VMAs after-party over the "Control" verse. Apparently, Diddy was drunk and attempted to have some words with Kendrick Lamar over the "king of New York" claims. Things got ugly when Diddy allegedly tried to pour a drink on Kendrick, before J. Cole intervened and fought the legend himself.
According to J. Cole's manager, none of that actually happened though.
Taking to Twitter, Ibrahim "Ib" Hamad debunked the rumors and said that the story is untrue.
"Yea thats def not what happened," he said next to a bunch of laughing emojis. So, what did happen then? Inquiring minds are begging to find out.
"Tiger King"’s Doc Antle Says Britney Spears Was "A Darling" During VMAs Performance
"Tiger King" star Bhagavan “Doc” Antle reflected on the time he worked with Britney Spears for her iconic "I'm A Slave 4 U" performance at the 2001 VMAs.
"Tiger King" star Bhagavan “Doc” Antle and Britney Spears go way back, didn't you know? It was recently discovered that the professional animal trainer and stars of the wildly popular Netflix docu-series, Tiger King: Murder, Madness, and Mayhem, was actually onstage during Britney's iconic performance of her hit song, "I'm A Slave 4 U," at the 2001 MTV Video Music Awards.
Although the performance is most memorable for the moment in which Britney has a Burmese python draped over her shoulders while she struts around on stage, there was also a live tiger involved, which was handled by Doc himself. The performance begins with a young Brit locked in a cage with the tiger before she breaks out onto the stage, and Doc can be seen in the background controlling the wild animal for the most of the performance.
“She was such a darling, totally just a fanatic person wanting a perfect performance,” Doc said about the then-19-year-old Britney. “We were there for several days rehearsing so that the tigers would be relaxed and happy to be out there and that everything could be smooth and taken care of as best as possible. She was there rehearsing and working—just the hardest working, sweetest young girl, out there making all the pieces click together.”

“I have total confidence in that tiger. I knew him since he was a baby,” he continued. “He’s about seven years old right there [and at the] peak of his game. A super macho, aggressive male tiger. That’s the tiger that you go somewhere like that with because he cares less about the fireworks, the gas explosions, the banging music. He’s totally concerned with just holding his own and being cool.”

The Institute for Greatly Endangered and Rare Species (T.I.G.E.R.S.) founder and Myrtle Beach Safari owner says Britney's always welcome to visit the park, but he realizes that she may not be too keen on it right in the midst of all the drama surrounding the series. “Brit knows who we are and where we are,” he said. “Right now, I’m sure with the Hollywood vibe, she’d be afraid that it’s on fire with all of this crazy salacious, insanity that has been made into Tiger King.”
Bobby Lytes Is Thirsting Over Lil Nas X Again
Bobby Lytes really liked what he saw in Lil Nas X’s new Calvin Klein campaign.
Bobby Lytes has been going all out trying to win over Lil Nas X’s love and attention for months now. It all started back in June when the “Old Town Road” artist revealed to the world that he was gay, news which Bobby hoped would be a game-changer for him. Just a day later, the reality TV star posted a photo of LNX and quoted his hit in a suggestive manner. “Somebody tell Lil Nas X I’m tryna riiiiidee till I can’t no more!,” Bobby wrote in the caption. For people who thought Bobby was already doing too much with this move, his interaction with LNX at the VMAs had them even more baffled. Bobby rocked assless chaps to the show and when he was spotted talking to his crush, the interest did not appear to be reciprocal. Bobby was dragged on Twitter for failing in his mission, despite his over-the-top outfit.
You can continue to clown Bobby if you wish, but he deserves to be praised for his perseverance. He is once again publicly shooting his shot at Lil Nas X. This time, his thirst was ignited by LNX’s new Calvin Klein campaign. As we all know, these campaigns tend to be quite steamy, as they often require celebrities to pose in underwear. Even though Nas only wore pyjama pants in his shoot, Bobby still found something to get excited over. “Damn Zaddy! ? is that a gun? Or you just happy to see me?! ??,” he captioned one of Nas’ CK ads. No response from Nas yet, but Bobby is standing by his lusting. The Shade Room reposted his public plea, pointing out how he’s not letting up, and he commented: “I’m not. So everyone can fall TF back!!”
