Tory Lanez might not be affected by the current threat of war looming between the United States and Iran because of his Canadian nationality but the superstar still decided to voice his opinion on the frightful situation. With all the WWIII memes being shared across TikTok, Twitter, and other social media platforms, Lanez offered his take on why President Donald Trump chose to attack his rivals with a drone airstrike, killing general Qasem Soleimani. In the artist's eyes, it all has to do with the threat of being booted from the White House in the upcoming election.
After Donald Trump became the third President to ever be impeached, Tory Lanez believes that he may have stooped this low to heighten his chances of re-election in the fall. He noted that he would be keeping his nose out of this drama, but that came after he let off a potential conspiracy theory.
"So basically America bout to go into war becuz it’s re-election time... and the chances of switching a president while a war is going on are slim," wrote the rapper on Twitter. "Just saying ... who the fuck am I ... but seems about right to me ... however I’m Canadian so ima stay outta this."
The Chixtape 5 singer doesn't seem too offbase. This would be the wildest thing Trump has done as President and, let's be honest, would anybody be surprised if this was actually the case?

Meek Mill Dubbed A Hypocrite By DJ Akademiks For Tweet About US Soldiers
DJ Akademiks doesn't agree that being at war is like being "in the trenches."
When Meek Mill shouted out the soldiers who fight for the safety of the United States on a daily basis, he did so with good intentions in mind. With all the chatter about a potential World War III (which likely won't happen) and the troubling reports concerning the USA and Iran, Meek Mill just wanted to send some positivity to the men and women defending us across borders. The Philadelphia artist and DJ Akademiks, a popular hip-hop commentator, have an interesting history. Previously, Meek has gone after the YouTuber for his continued support of Tekashi 6ix9ine. Now, the tables have turned and AK is the one criticizing Mill for his comments on the military.
Meek Mill compared the figurative "trenches" to the literal trenches used to hide out in war zones, noting that they're very similar in that you never know when/if you'll be attacked or lose your life. DJ Akademiks believes that, by sending that tweet out, Meek was being a self-fulfilling narcissist who contradicted himself another time.
"This is pretty much the most self-indulgent, narcissistic tweet you could probably have about this situation because, while we're trying to give some light to the men and women who serve in our armed forces, Meek Mill had to say that being in the streets is like being at war," said DJ Akademiks in a new video. AK goes on to say that much of what goes on in the streets is done through crime, noting that US soldiers donate their lives away from their families to protect us all instead. He also speaks on Meek's dedication to prison reform, suggesting that the man is a hypocrite for some of his comments.

There are plenty of memes being shared, making us giggle in the face of danger. Of course, people are worried that if a major war is declared, we will be involved in a draft and New York rapper Joey Bada$$ is already voicing his displeasure at that possibility.

Taking to Twitter to comment on the madness happening in our world, Joey Badmon apologized to the United States of America before announcing that he will have no part in the war everyone believes is imminent. "SORRY AMERIKKKA BUT I WILL NOT BE YOUR SOLIDER," he wrote. Unfortunately, Joey, like the rest of us, may not even have a say in whether or not he will fight in a potential World War III. Hopefully, we don't ever reach that point.

“At the direction of the President, the U.S. military has taken decisive defensive action to protect U.S. personnel abroad by killing Soleimani, the head of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps-Quds Force, a U.S.-designated Foreign Terrorist Organization,” the Department of Defense reportedly said in a statement. “General Soleimani was actively developing plans to attack American diplomats and service members in Iraq and throughout the region...his Quds Force were responsible for the deaths of hundreds of American and coalition service members and the wounding of thousands more.”
The airstrike reportedly occurred at the Baghdad International Airport as Soleimani was riding in his vehicle after returning from Syria.
