Get ready for another round of new offerings on our “R&B Season” playlist this week. While there may not be as many additions to the batch this time around, we believe in the philosophy of quality over quantity. One particularly exciting release this week came in the form of Tinashe‘s collab with alternative DJ, ZHU, titled, “Only.” The unexpected duo dropped the surprise track on Friday (May 17th) much to the joy of R&B, pop, and electronic fans alike.
We’ve also included a major highlight off Roy Woods’ brand new EP, Dem Times, that also dropped on Friday, marking the OVO artist’s first full body of work in almost three years since 2017’s Say Less. After adding “I Feel It,” which served as the EP’s lead single, to our “R&B Season” round-up last week, we carefully selected another cut off the project, “Cool J,” to be featured on our playlist.
