Iconic Canadian rock band Thor has made a heavily noticed return in the scene with the release of a 2D animation music video for the epic rock single “Queen Of The Spiders,” featuring Frank Soda, written and produced by Jon Mikl Thor and long time collaborator Kevin Stuart Swain, and released via Cleopatra/Deadline Records. “Queen Of The Spiders” is a song off the band’s most recent album, Alliance.
It is Jon Mikl Thor’s love of comic books, as well as the fact that a few had featured him in the past, that gave the band the strong desire to create their own animated music video, and the result is astonishingly powerful!
The collaboration between Thor and producer, songwriter, musician, and performer Kevin Stuart Swain began in 2018, when the pair released the album Christmas in Valhalla. With “Queen Of The Spiders” out on all streaming platforms and on Youtube, fans are now awaiting with extreme excitement the band’s next release!
